Despite this, in-house warranties continued to be sold to customers up until the end without telling them they would be void upon closing. The Washington State Attorney General's Office (AGO) aggressively prosecutes businesses that knowingly sell worthless service contracts or hide imminent closures. There are also allegations that some customers were told the store was "moving" or was just not told Intentionally that the company was permanently closing. This was all told for staff to do so by owner Cary Snow, to defraud customers to fund his new businesses before shutting the doors and walking away from the community that have spent their hard earned money supporting a business that doesnt care about them. If you purchased a warranty based on the understanding that the business would continue operating, you may want to carefully review the circumstances surrounding your purchase. Many customers paid extra money (or was included in their purchase) for warranty protection expecting there would be a business available to honor those agreements.
