Rented a bike here via Ride Share and everything seemed to go well until day of rental, bike was having concerning issues on start up and the engine. Even brought it up back to the shop to where they dismissed it was a license plate issue causing intense rumbling. Very odd, but initially still felt trust. Anyways, rode it out into the valley when suddenly the engine would just fail to start. Contacted the rental owner and they promised they would make it right. At this point, the ride and bike was extremely unsafe and dangerous. Had to ride it back in these shakey conditions and didn't even bother turning off the engine due to the fear that the engine wouldn't start again. It was so random and unpredictable if the engine would even turn on when I was out in the valley, basically stranded. I returned the keys the next morning after managing to ride it back at the shop the same night. Max, who reviewed the bike intially was very helpful and receptive to the conditions of the bike, admitting that this has happened in the past and the Ducatti had a mind of its own. He promised a full refund within a few days. Now here is the part where it was so sketchy and shadey. He was really aggressive on wanting me to close the rental on my side as well as his. it's my first time using Ride Share, so i was unfamiliar with the app and how to get the refund. Over a week passes, and i follow up since there is still no refund. I try to call the shop but they keep ignoring and missing my calls, saying that Max is not there and etc. When I finally get a hold of him, he is extremely aggressive and rude. There is a complete 180 change in his response and demeanor towards me, accusing me of lying and saying that the bike is fine. AVOID THIS PLACE. They are extremely sketchy and scam artists. Look at the other reviews here in the past. They are misogynists and refused to cooperate. I had to file a dispute since there was never any action from Ride Share or the place. I 100% believe my life was on the line, yet they were completely fine renting the keys to me upon check in day 1. I definitely believe the owner was telling his coworker on the same day I returned the keys in a different language warning his employee of my situation before he came in. This place is a joke. Little do they know, I have video evidence of the bike failing to start and multiple eye witnesses. This place doesn't care about your safety and is all about the money

I mentioned that I ride a moto Guzzi and he told me that they service that brand and have the oil filters in stock (which I did have trouble sourcing when I changed my oil earlier this year). We knew we wouldn't make it back in time to return the bikes within 2 hours. We called and informed the associate that we definitely will be late. We were late by one and a half hours. When we arrived the same person that rented us the bikes was in the store to receive them. We let him know we had a great time and immediately asked what do we owe you? He replied to both of us that don't worry about it, I'm glad you had a good time. We said thank you. We chatted a little and left. 2 days later we both received a text message that was an updated invoice. Not knowing why, we called and it was the same associate that said we were good. We reminded him what he said and he declared he had no memory of that conversation. I replied why didn't you have us pay when we were there? He said I realized you were 2 hours late and it's $40 an hour. That was also inaccurate because we both paid $60 for 2 hours. He then told us that he would reduce it to $20 each person. But why did he wait 2 days and how was he not aware of what time we came back exactly and how long we were actually gone. And why did he not call us immediately instead sending us a text invoice. Very bad business decision. We will not be renting there again nor anyone else I know. He knew we were late and we called him 2 times to let him know. So he should have discussed it when we got there instead of pretending he doesn't remember having that conversation that me and my friend both heard his reply 2 days later. Anyway up till then the customer service was great. We wanted to pay but he never brought it up except to say don't worry about it. Too confusing. As a business owner the best way to solve this issue it to always have the customer sign the rental form upon return and call attention to the customer if there is a balance due instead of waiting 2 days later. Or not even a call from this associate at all. Or just forget about it as it was his mistake. And hope for good return business. We paid the $20 each and we would have happily paid the full amount when we were there. We weren't trying to escape paying but we definitely didn't like the shady way of going about getting money from us.

I decided to look elsewhere and gave this place a try. Ryan did an incredible job!! He aligned everything, replaced my brake pads, lines, shifter and even cleaned my bike. Now it rides smoother than butter. The cherry on top is that their pricing is reasonable as well. I dropped my bike off looking tired, dirty, and overused, and picked it up looking immaculate. Want to give a quick shout out to my bros at Black & White. Juan and Justin saved my sanity from…read morebeing bamboozled by Enterprise Rent a Crap who make my life a living hell. Long story short, my car was in the shop for repair. Along with my Tesla Insurance Car Rental coverage, I was steered to pick up a rental from Enterprise W Hollywood "MIKE" who gave me the run around AND NEVER CALLED ME BACK w rental car options and tried to cram a mini Van down my throat at the end which won't fit into my driveway. Pro Tip: If u have Rental Car Coverage, check you policy but most likely you have the choice to rent any car as u wish and from who ever, as long as you're willing to pay out of pocket for anything over your daily rental coverage rate to go thru reimbursement. Thank goodness I reached out to Justin and Juan. They were able to fix me up w an Audi and within my rental car daily allowance, so I could drive w dignity while my old car was in the shop. Everything went seamless from beginning to end with Black & White. I could not than them enough for helping me to alleviate a very stressful situation.
