As always Moto Deli delivers with amazing sandwiches made fresh to order with a flavor profile and amazing bread that makes each bite perfect. Not sure what to order, ask the friendly and cool staff for a recommendation and they will help satisfy your taste buds. Their outdoor patio is the perfect place to enjoy your meal surrounded by hungry cyclists which makes the entire experience more unique. Don't forget to order one of the local beers on tap.

Cool spot! Love that it's not only a deli, but a coffee bar too. And also attatched to a bike store I believe? I have had the Turketta here before (which is delicious), today I tried the Pastrami-Ruben. The rye-bread was the star of the show because it had the perfect "CRUNCH", I believe they crisp it with butter. 10/10 crunch factor. I think next time, for my personal preference, I will do mustard in place of the thousand island (thousand island was delicious, I just don't tend to love sweet sauces, but love Rubens) so give it that extra savory-ness. Cute location and ambiance. Minimal seating inside, but super close to the beach. Great spot to grab a 'wich and go have a sunset picnic. Service was friendly! Only caveat: I had a hard time paying $20 for a sandwich- no drink or chips. I know times are challenging right now, but I still just had a tough time with that. Unless they use all natural, seed-oil free ingredients, I would be more down with that. But I am not unsure the impression that's the case- could be wrong though.

Great little deli and coffee bar! Had their signature Turketta, but was already looking forward to trying a few other sandwiches! Their signature turketta was excellent and so was their chicken bahn mi! If I wasn't as hungry I would've definitely tried a coffee as all the cyclists making a stop had wonderful looking drinks! As the deli is connected to a high end cycle shop, on PCH, this place is heavily visited by passing by cyclists, which made the ambiance a lot of fun as well. Highly recommend this place. Can't wait to go back!

We stopped by for a grilled cheese that was under $10 and immediately hit the spot. Some of the other sandwiches were quite pricey like the pastrami or roast beef coming in at $17, but the menu has so many options to choose form, that I would like to come back and try more of the menu.

I haven't been to Moto Deli since their new location and my review still stands at four stars. The new location is bigger and has dedicated parking as well as street parking. The salads are BOMB! The ingredients mixed with the ranch dressing in the Cobb salad was the best I have ever had. The Turketta was disappointing as the bread was dry and the sandwich had a sweetness that I wasn't expecting. Overall good food and healthy! Service was amazing and friendly. Ambiance is hip and fun. Outdoor patio accepts dogs!

I've been wanting to try this place for a while, and I'm pretty sad about my experience here. I thought the sandwiches had good quality ingredients but weren't insanely flavorful but maybe it's just what I ordered. Could've been better with hot sauce, so I shall try that next time. The service was also a bit slow which is fine. The part that made me sad was the ambiance. I was met with such hostility by the local customers, and it was really isolating as literally the only poc at the entire place. Also we are literally young 20s girls, that was so weird and targeted to me lol

It was not busy at all, Monday around 12 noon. I got the turketta sandwich, a pickle side, house chips, and a drink. My total was somewhere over $20. The sandwich was absolutely incredible, simple but a darn good sandwich. I would absolutely come back.

Ordered pick up for Moto Deli and I feel like if you ride a motorcycle, scooter, bike, or are any type of cyclist; you are obligated to visit Moto Deli. It is very popular with that crowd and I can understand why. Really good sandwiches and has a hipster vibe that makes it feel cool to hang out and eat there. The location is also perfect. I ordered the BLT with avocado and couldn't complain. Ingredients tasted fresh, was stacked, and I was satisfied. I might need to start riding my bike again...

Well that was me yesterday I could not look at another jersey Mike's sub, so I went to my small go to epic sandwich spot. Moto, deli! Plenty of parking, a staff that gets it great folks in the kitchen... And then the sandwich comes out! And you realize that this is not just a franchise, it's a real restaurant. It's a smaller menu but you will find something for everyone - Hot and cold Sammie's, Salads and Side Dishes. Next up, order at the counter and you'll receive a buzzer to let you know when your meal is ready. I have way too many favorites on the menu so I'll give you my top recs: Egg Salad {a housemade Egg Salad with Gherkins, Lettuce and Tomato served on Squaw Bread} / Caprese {Mozzarella, Tomato, Fresh Basil, Arugula, Red Onion and Balsamic served on a French Roll} / The Italian - My absolute Favorite {Hard Salami, Genoa Salami, Capicola, Provolone, Lettuce, Tomato and Onion on a French Roll}. You can opt for a side of Mac Salad, Curried Sweet Potato Salad or a Super Food Salad but the way to go is a simple Pickle Spear {or 2}! This was my second time going to Moto Deli. Me and a friend were the second people to order sandwiches. I don't know why it took literally 45 minutes to get our "hot" sandwiches which were cold by the time we received them. The counter lady didn't even apologize at all for the wait. The sandwich I had wasn't even something to come back for. I think the kitchen was slammed with group orders but I want to provide feedback to the business. Your physical customers should be the priority because the location is your brick and mortar business. Phone orders should be second priority and if the deli is busy, they should explain that the order will take longer. Sandwiches are a very basic thing to make and they should come out relatively quickly. About 12 other people were also waiting for their sandwich orders. read more

Really cool place. Super nice build-out inside with a really nice patio, and always cool cars and motorcycles outside. Sandwiches? Extremely good. On the expensive side but you really do get what you paid for. All sandwiches include really good (I think house made) potato chips. Parking is the hard part. read more

Price was slightly higher than fair, however, the cook was very detail oriented. The food was delicious (BLT, chicken salad). You could tell they cared about the food. The downfall of this: wasn't super fast. Big portions, good food, would highly recommend! read more

First time visit to Moto Deli. Great selection of sandwiches. I ordered the Chicago Beef sandwich and it was, by far, the best sandwich of its kind I have eaten. My daughter told me that Portello's in Chicago would change my life because of their world famous Italian beef sandwich, but Moto Deli's Chicago Beef sandwich was far better. Great flavor combination of thinly sliced beef and peppers coupled with a fantastic au jus. Homemade potato chips top off the sandwich. Can't wait to go back! read more

Rad place. Rad food. Rad people. I live down the street and have seen the progress shape into an amazingly nice set up. Had the turketta which was complex,sweet yet savory, yet bitter with the arugula, & had an unforgettable crunch of bacon. Perfect. The bread held up a smokey flavored turkey. I will now crave this sandwich. Moto offered a rabbit sandwich I'll try next for sure. If you can walk, bike, or moto to this place do it. Parking is tight for cars. read more

I'm so happy I found this place! I honestly don't usually like sandwiches that much but a friend recommended me to come here, so I did. I got the Cubano sandwich and was so pleased. There was the perfect amount of bread and filling that made me feel like I was tasting what I was intended to, all the way through it. Some sandwiches are all bread and no filling or reverse. Theirs was perfect. And the chips that come with are memorable. Honestly surprised at how good they were because it would be easy to just throw any chips on the side but they don't. They taste homemade (didn't ask if they were) and paired well with the sandwich. I will definitely be back. read more

I had the turketta and my husband had the Italian. Both were so good! Their pickles are crazy good and their "Eddie would go" sauce is spicy and so flavorful. I was iffy about their moto sauce on my sandwich but the guy at the register was super nice and recommended it on the side. Happy he did! Chill atmosphere, pet friendly, and they even have cozy blankets outside for the San Diego "winter" weather. We will definitely be back! read more

Sadly disappointed. The cubano at the old Moto was the best sandwich ever. The new one at the new location isn't the same. Definitely less meat, more pickle, no side of chips and most importantly, they don't use the same tangy mustard as before. It was an edible cubano and I finished it. But it's nowhere near as good as the old version. I hope they fix this. We probably won't be back otherwise. The cubano was our whole reason for going there. read more

I love this place! Mainly because of one dish the avocado and egg open faced sandwich. It's simple, healthy, and full of flavor! The ambiance in the restaurant is also very fun and hip, while maintaining a chill vibe. On my last visit, the guy who helped me was kind enough to make sure I had everything I needed before I left. Went there a couple of days after it opened. I had the rabbit confit and my wife had the cuban. Both were fantastic and reasonably priced for the quality. Everyone there was really friendly, and we loved the aesthetics. We can't wait until they're open for dinner! read more

Everyone was so pleased with their choices. There was live entertainment indoors too. They let us bring in a cake and provided plates which was so nice. A fun night was had by all! It was amazing. Fresh seafood, amazing slightly spicy broth. Perfect. Nothing overcooked and clearly fresh ever ordering close to closing. Also ordered a ceaser salad- the fried capers LEGIT PERFECT. My husband had the union burger with truffle fries. He said was good. I was too distracted by my dinner to try. "Brunch" on the other hand, was a little disappointing. Hoping it was just a limited menu because it was Father's Day but food was mediocre. Service here is great. Not overly attentive but very great recommendations. Will definitely visit again when I'm back in town.

Here, you can get up to five different beers in one flight although you don't have to get all five. I tried one lighter one (2 AM Tacos--Mexican lager) and it was refreshing and delicious. I also tried four heavier, more alcoholic ones: Black's Peach (sour ale--it was sour indeed), Drink This or the Bees Die (Golden Honey--not bad), Sasquack (Belgian--very good), and St. Alfonsos (Imperial Stout at 12.8 ABV--this one was absolutely outstanding but better have a designated driver with you). This place is kid friendly and definitely dog friendly. In fact, there were probably more dogs than humans during our visit and I'm not complaining. Dogs are better than people, as we know. This was on a Friday night and the place was absolutely slammed, which was nice to see. No food available but you can bring in your own grub. Good luck with parking--either free street or residential parking are your only options. Excellent addition to Leucadia. This is a good spot.

And our server was fantastic. So why, you might ask, only 4 stars in my review. Two reasons: 1). Management has prohibited giving a splash of a beer for someone to sample. Bottom line is that I wanted to order a pint of beer, but I wanted a splash of a couple of beers to try to make my decision. They refused, saying that one must buy a 5oz taster if one wants to taste the beer. I find that policy offensive. In the end I bought a taster to taste the Chuuurch, and then bought an additional pint after. It just seems nickel and dimey, and would be asking to an ice cream place not allowing one to sample their ice creams before buying a cone. I hope management reconsiders this policy. 2. My wife got the Hot Mess Fries and was disappointed not only in the flavor, but also in the misleading advertising. On the menu it specifically said that there was bacon in the fries, but in fact what they put on the fries was either chunks of ham or "Canadian bacon" (which as we all know is a very different thing from "bacon"). If they were or of regular bacon, the kitchen should have told the server this so he could have asked her if she wanted ham as a substitute. And, of they always use ham instead of bacon, them the menu needs to be changed to reflect that.

I'm so happy they are open. The building looks great and the vibe was awesome. I had the open face salmon sandwich. the salmon was smoked or cured with beets so it had a deep red color on the edges. Sorry to quote a James Bond movie but nobody does it better when it comes to sandwiches. Why someone would spend money on a subway or a Jersey Mikes sandwich when you have moto deli is beyond me. The Italian sandwith rules and the Bahn Mi is amazing. And the prices are very reasonnable. read more
