Small ramen bar in the lobby of a business complex. Delicious hippy ramen. Vegetarian but with pork broth- but I'm a bit flexatarian as is my son so we each enjoyed a bowl. The noodles, sweet corn, edamame, and bamboo shoots all maje it delicious. The veggie dumplings were also very good with a ginger forward taste, soft chewy texture, and soy based dipping sauce. The counter/server woman was great and the entire experience was great. The decor is super cute and the bathrooms are nice and clean.

Awesome food and service! The atmosphere was fun and the ramen was excellent. Check out this place is you're looking for great food in the area! The owner is super nice as well!

The piggy ramen bowl

I would like to give this place two stars because the bowl was not the best I've ever had in my life. The noodles were pretty good, the broth was flavorful, the soft-boiled egg was also good however the pork belly itself was not good. She used a blow torch to crispy the tops I believe and it just left this sour taste to it. Not too delicious. This place definitely does not compare to the ramen noodle bowl I had in California. Will I return here? Probably not.

This has got to be one of the coolest cafes in Sarasota. The aesthetic of this spot is like a page in a manga. Thanks for the great drinks!

The Eggs Benedict are exceptional: perfectly poached eggs with a rich, balanced hollandaise and ideal texture throughout. The macchiato is dialed in--smooth, properly extracted, and beautifully presented. The breakfast potatoes are outstanding: crisp on the outside, tender inside, and seasoned exactly right. The Croque Monsieur is superb--deeply savory, layered, and indulgent without being heavy. The bacon, egg, and cheddar sandwich hits every note you want in a classic breakfast sandwich, elevated with quality ingredients and execution. The brioche French toast is decadent yet refined, and the pastries are consistently excellent--fresh, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. The atmosphere has a relaxed, cool vibe--stylish but comfortable. Service is attentive, warm, and professional, more in the spirit of a European café where you're invited to linger and enjoy rather than being hurried out the door. As locals, this is hands-down our favorite breakfast and brunch spot. Consistently outstanding.

It's very quaint outside and inside, which is my style. I really wanted the French toast but since I was going to get a baked goodie for later, I didn't. I just got the normal eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. I asked for crispy bacon, and it was perfect. The potatoes aren't freshly cut but were hot and tasty. Loved the coffee and fresh creme. Will definitely be back soon and bring my GF.

The moment you enter, you are embraced by a cascade of twinkling fairy lights that shimmer like stardust against a twilight sky. Fresh flowers bloom in every corner, their sweet fragrance mingling with the comforting aroma of steeping tea and freshly baked cakes. The menu is a delightful symphony of flavors, with each dish crafted as if by fairy hands. The tea sandwiches are dainty yet satisfying, their ingredients so fresh they seem to have been gathered from a mystical garden just moments before. The salads are vibrant and bursting with life, each leaf and garnish adding to the overall tapestry of flavors. And, of course, the cakes! The cakes are tiny works of art, each bite a burst of sweetness that leaves you floating on clouds of pure bliss. Even the soups, served in charming little teacups, are more than just a meal--they are comfort and warmth, a gentle embrace on a slow afternoon. Each spoonful is like a chapter in a story you never want to end. In this enchanting restaurant, you don't just dine--you dream. Every moment here feels like a stolen piece of a fairy tale, and you'll find yourself lingering, not wanting to break the spell. Whether you come alone to sip tea and read by the soft glow of the fairy lights or with friends to share laughter over a tray of delicate sandwiches, you'll leave with your heart a little lighter and your spirit a little brighter. To say that the owner of this enchanting establishment is just as magical as the place she's created would be an understatement. Kathryn is the heart and soul of this fairy-tale haven, a living embodiment of the kindness and beauty that fills every corner of her restaurant. Her presence is like a gentle breeze, warm and soothing, making everyone who walks through the door feel instantly at home. Her generosity is evident not just in the thoughtful touches that make each visit special--like the fresh flowers that greet you at every table or the extra care taken to ensure each dish is perfect--but in the way she treats each guest like an old friend. There's a sweetness in her smile that makes you feel as though you've known her for years, and a gentle warmth in her words that wraps around you like a comforting blanket. She moves with a quiet grace, always attentive, yet never intrusive. Whether she's offering a kind word, making sure your tea is just right, or sharing a delightful story, she does so with a lightness that leaves you feeling cherished and cared for. It's clear that this restaurant is more than just a business to her--it's a labor of love, a place where she pours her heart into every detail. In a world that often feels rushed and impersonal, the owner's presence is a reminder of the beauty of kindness and the power of a generous spirit. She has created not just a restaurant, but a sanctuary--a place where time slows down, and you can savor not just the food, but the warmth of human connection. To dine here is to be touched by her sweetness, and to leave with your heart a little fuller, your day a little brighter. Thank you, Kathryn, for creating such a beautiful safe haven for all who enter. As long as this establishment is standing, I will be there in attendance.

Walking by the…read morebuilding you are greeted by a gorgeous mural of a cat just giving you a small taste of what's inside. I really loved the theming inside the Cafe, pink is one of my favorite colors and I felt like they used the cafe space pretty well. They offer a variety of baked goods including different flavors of baklava and spinach pie. The menu also includes some fun drinks including coffee, tea and cocktails along with sorbet and gelato! We ended up trying their hot Mocha and the siamese mocktail which was ginger ale, mango, almond, vanilla and agave. We also treated ourselves to a piece of the chocolate baklava which was phenomenal, definitely give that treat a try it was a good balance of depth from the cocoa and sweetness (not pictured because we practically inhaled it). The coffee was really yummy, I did find the mocktail delicious but very sweet with my initial sips even after stirring (prior to letting the ice melt) being very syrupy (I wonder if there is a way to make it less sweet or to ask for maybe half pumps of syrups or to swap ginger ale for sparkling water), other than that the flavor combo was good just very sugary. We did purchase a day pass to play with cats which are held in a separate area visible from the cafe. I found the price of $20 for unlimited time during your stay to be pretty fair. The cats were all pretty sleepy during our visit and we anticipated a bit more cats to be present and about, (however this may be a good thing), despite this we were able to make a good time petting the cats in their perch and playing with them with the vast amount of toys available. The inside of the cat area was a bit sparse in terms of places to sit with the cats and comfy areas to lounge with them for play so that made staying an extended time a little uncomfy, we broke up our time by playing with the cats, enjoying the cafe and then playing with the cats again. Luckily re-entry was allowed in this case. We went on a Monday afternoon, so this may be due to the timing in the day but if you are expecting a place with many playful cats this may not be the place. Especially if multiple people are present you may be having to vie for attention from a few cats. However, if you are willing to move around and make your own fun and are okay with seeing cats acting in a way that is more consistent with how they would be in a normal home environment than you would have a great time, this environment is truly perfect for those looking to adopt for that reason! I appreciate the mission of Katys Cat cafe and glad I could support.
