    Papaya salad

Came here for lunch. It's located in a weird empty place, with lots of parking. Place is large and menu is large. However the whole place smells like cigarettes, not sure why. No one was smoking inside but it was pretty smelly. I had spring rolls and they were ok, not much chicken inside. Thai papaya salad wasn't really good, shrimp definitely wasn't fresh. Service was nice, friendly and quick. I don't think I would be back. Wasn't great experience and expensive for what you get.

I ordered 2 pad Thai lunches on uber eats for a reasonable price ($14). I was a little disappointed by the portion size, I understand it was lunch but I was expecting more. I ordered them Thai hot so I was also expecting a more red color and for it to be hotter, but it wasn't that spicy. I'm very picky on my pad thai, and this place was fine, but I've had better.

Delicious food and wonderful hospitality (a long lost art at most restaurants); from the waiter Mr Dong to the Chef/co-owner Meow and her husband from Boston, Brian. I've been eating Thai food for over 25 years and have become into this particular restaurant since 1992. The White Elephant (Chang Kao) gets my business at least once a week!! Try it out for yourself, you will not be disappointed!!

Vegan yellow curry added tofu - vegan fried rice (top right) had to order egg fried rice and modify it to have veggies no egg

I've had food on takeout and dine in, been here twice. The quality has been consistently good and I'd go out of my way if I had to, to eat from this place. Definitely recommend. I'm also happy they have a vegan version of Tom Kha soup which is a savory, tangy coconut milk and kaffir lime infused broth. Notice I said broth, not cream and I think it's best when you add in the veggies and tofu in that one.

Decent place for Thai dinner. The interior looks quite authentic, and service was friendly. The food came out quickly, but the portions were quite small for the price. Also, I asked for Thai spice level for my Panama curry, and it was barely spicy. This place seemed most popular for takeout. I usually like to support local businesses, but perhaps trying a different restaurant would be the way to go.

Unremarkable Strip mall restaurant next to some questionable business establishments. Upon entering we noted a musty carpet smell and very few patrons on a Friday evening dinner service. We shared Papaya Salad, Khao Soi, and Drunken Noodle with Tofu and a Singha beer dinner for two came to $42.00 The papaya salad tasted great but had scant amount of actual Papaya which was mixed with shredded lettuce. It also came with two limp unclean shrimp that did not add to the experience. The Khao Soi was the star of the meal. This is a Northern Thai soup that is rarely seen on Thai menus when I encounter it I know I am in an authentic restaurant. The Drunken noodles was flavorful with lots of fresh vegetables and nicely prepared tofu. The noodle portion was underwhelming and seemed like standard flat noodle fettuccini from a box. The experience was nice, but the place would benefit from a deep cleaning. Support Family Owned and operated restaurants! Funky but fresh.

Food was okay. I've been to many Thai restaurants and I wasn't super impressed with the food here. However, the customer service was great, place was very clean, and the food was fresh. I got a Thai iced tea that was a little bitter. The red curry with chicken was pretty good, just the right amount of spice. The chicken pad Thai was good but could have used more chicken. Portion sizes were not great. We got crab Rangoon and it was $8.95 for 4 pieces which I thought was a little pricey. The lunch special came with a soup and egg roll which was delicious as well. Atmosphere was relaxing. Overall this place was ok. It the best but definitely not the worse.

Tons of menu items & lunch specials. Authentic Thai cook. Give it a chance. I had a light lunch : soup & salad that came with a small egg roll. Perfect ! & there was a lot of seafood in my Tom Kha soup for only $6.95 see pic!! I will be back.

There is street parking and a small private parking lot. I highly recommend reservations on the Resy app about 1-2 weeks in advance, as the restaurant is busy in winter. FOOD: You can choose between a la carte or the Prix Fixe menu. The Prix Fixe is a small-portioned three-course (bite, appetizer, and entrée) menu featuring some of our signature dishes. The Prix Fixe experience begins at $58 per person (there are additional add-ons) for dine-in only. 1. Waterzooi Soup (3/5; Red Farms chicken | caramelized leeks | carrots | local cream | focaccia toast | parsley emulsion | carrot purée): This is a Belgian soup. The serving size of the soup in the prix fixe was relatively small. The presentation was nice, and the chicken soup was a nice winter dish. The chicken broth was savory but at room temperature. 2. Autumn Salad (2/5; mixed artisanal greens | brûléed bucheron cheese | radicchio | toasted French walnuts | red grapes | fig balsamic vinaigrette): I felt like something was lacking from this seasonal autumn salad. It's OK for me, as I mostly ate the bucheron cheese with the grapes and walnuts. 3. Filet Mignon (4/5; seared | maître d'hôtel butter | red wine jus | truffle potato purée | asparagus (additions: sauce Choron, seared foie gras, Maine lobster tail, local exotic Petrichor mushrooms): It was cooked perfectly. This is a staple in the menu. I did not add any of the additionals. The service was great. Our water and drinks did not touch the bottom. The server came around often to check in and give his recommendations. If you want to do order pick up, it is available Tuesday-Saturday between 5 - 8 PM. Would I come back? Yes. I want to try other items on the menu.

Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended for me. I arrived around 5:30 PM on a Saturday and was surprised at how empty it was. There were only three people at the bar when I arrived, and maybe a dozen total by the time I left. With the atmosphere, pricing, and huge menu selection, I expected it to be much busier. I ordered the Veal Saltimbocca. The flavor was decent, but the portion size was disappointing. The attached photo shows the entire veal portion -- a very small gray medallion that felt completely out of proportion to the dish. When the main protein is that limited, the value just isn't there. What really concerned me, though, was a food safety issue I witnessed. One of the servers dropped a to-go box on the floor and walked past it multiple times without picking it up. Eventually, a shift lead picked it up and placed it directly on a prepared table setting with silverware, a plate, and a napkin. About a minute later, the box was thrown away -- thankfully -- but the contaminated table setting remained in place for guests. That kind of cross-contamination is hard to ignore and honestly overshadowed the rest of the experience for me. I genuinely wanted to enjoy this restaurant, but between the disappointing portion size and the careless handling of basic sanitation, I left understanding why it wasn't busier on a Saturday night.
