Both were very straightforward and really nice to work with. the mechanic that worked on my bike (I believe Jim) was superb and even pointed out my Denali lights were slightly tilted up and adjusted them for me with a T square. Great guys. I was there for a quick oil change but first impressions are everything. Super clean shop and fair prices. I will be back for brakes and more routine service and such.

Specifically if the rear-facing radar system could be added as an accessory. Other dealers told me that it was not possible. Mr. Hamlin told me that yes, it should be possible but he would confirm with Moto Guzzi and get back to me. Indeed, Mr. Hamlin called me a few days later and told me that he was correct and that indeed the radar system (blind spot warning and lane change assist) could be added to the model in which I had an interest. Not every dealer would go above and beyond like Mr. Hamlin.

A couple of…read moremonths ago, their garage was burglarized and among the motorcycles that were stolen was my sons 2017 110cc KLX. I would say we were devastated, however the response from Chris and Al at DTMoto was so swift and so huge that we didn't have time to be. In less than 24hrs, Chris pulled some strings with a dealership and replaced the motorcycle (which was a used 2017 model) with a brand new 2025. We were absolutely shocked! We couldn't believe anyone who had been the direct victim of a crime could and would turn around so quickly to replace this motorcycle and then go above and beyond with a brand new one. My son, who is 10yrs old, was deeply impressed by this gesture and to this day keeps repeating something he heard Chris say: "dad, he said kids go first". Chris had several calls to make that day, hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of motorcycles to think about, but he spent his first 24hrs thinking about my son. I will never forget this significant act of generosity, and I will continue to share the story to anyone who will listen. So, if you came here looking for a review about DT Moto, just know that these guys are the most honest, hard working and real people in the business. You can trust them with your motorcycles, they will not waste your time, they will not lie to you. They are straight shooters. Love the fact that I can drop off the car in the early morning and chat with staff while the car is repaired. The waiting room is clean and quiet. Plus no upselling or grief when I need to do a repair in stages. Instead, Brian offers common sense solutions and great alternatives to solve an issue. Brian is pleasure to work with and patient with my less than knowlegeable questions :-) He walks you through the whole repair if you have questions. After another local repair shop failed twice to complete repairs without breaking other systems and costing me more money, I went looking for a better place. This is it! So nice to be able to trust a mechanic to do a great job! I read over some of the other reviews and the "one stars" are totally out of character for Brian and I suspect they are bogus. Another great experience I had with Hansen Auto Body & Automotive was when I recently needed the exhaust system repaired. The car was in excellent condition & had been dealer maintained with only one owner. Great find ! I called & spoke with Brian & later Joe. This past Friday, I decided to go there & check it out. I test drove the car, it ran well, no major problems. The vehicle's condition was as advertised. The staff & owner were very pleasant & easy to deal with. They have some beautiful cars in their showroom. They also have motorcycles, including a very nice Harley (black with silver chrome) in the garage. Saw many different makes of car, ranging from affordable daily drivers to Porsche 911's. Nice selection but not snobbish at all. They were very helpful in terms of making the purchase easy, if I decide to buy the car (still considering it). While I was waiting for the Car Fax report, another customer called in looking for a sports car. I got the impression that he was a longtime customer. They chatted like they were friends. All their cars are dealer trade ins and everything he told me about the vehicle checked out. He also went the extra mile to prep the car ahead of schedule for our pick up. I looked at some of the other reviews written and I couldn't agree more. This is a terrific shop; great sales dept. (Dan) and the owner (Dave) are both super friendly and laid back. His daughter works there and is also very friendly. They have two beautiful and VERY friendly Golden Retrievers greeting customers as well. I mention all of this because it puts one at ease when you're there browsing / shopping. Full disclosure: I've been browsing there for a couple of years; I've stopped in quite a few times. I never felt pressured or annoyed by Dan or anyone there; they are super laid back. So I finally decided on buying a Ducati and the whole process was handled so well, from beginning to end. I've also had the service dept. install some mods for me and change out the rear sets, etc. Again - even the guy I dealt with in the service dept. was friendly and helpful. I read in one or two of the reviews that people were traveling pretty good distances to shop here and get service done on their bikes. I guess I'm extremely lucky to be about 7 miles (15 mins) from New Haven Power Sports.

Two months later, I got on the bike and the kickstand fell off, causing very minor damage. The bolt was not secured properly, and the kickstand itself was perfectly fine and intact--the problem was their installation. I called the service manager, Will, and he told me I could get the bike towed and that he would find prices for me to replace everything. I explained that the issue was not a failed part, but that it had not been put on correctly. I wasn't satisfied that the discussion would lead to a resolution , so I called the owner and explained what happened. The owner asked for pictures, sent me a text message telling me where to send them, and said they would follow up. Instead, I got a phone call from Will threatening me and saying I had gone behind his back. He told me it was a used part, not to come to his department anymore, that they were not servicing my bike, and that if I came there they would have me arrested. When I asked to speak to the owner, he said the owner did not want to talk to me and that he was talking to me instead. I only wanted the stand fixed so I could ride my bike, but instead I was met with hostility, threats, and refusal to take responsibility. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
