Instead of trying any normal methods first, they went straight to the torch, which felt careless and like they were looking for the quickest excuse to run up the price. After reading other reviews, I see I'm not the only one who feels they're price gouging at this location. Being in the middle of the neighborhood, it feels like they're taking advantage of people in the area. When I told the guy I could take my car somewhere else, he acted like I wasn't even still in the store -- completely dismissive. I would not recommend anyone bring their car here. To make it worse, AAA suggested this spot after I specifically asked to be taken somewhere else.

Even though they couldn't process my specific warranty and road hazard protection from another location, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I wasn't stranded. They actually gave me a tire for free just so I could get to my original shop safely without having to pay out of pocket for a temporary fix. It's rare to find a shop that leads with empathy and goes the extra mile to eliminate stress. I'm truly grateful for their help!

They referred me to a place in Fraser but they had terrible reviews and I started looking for myself. I found the Transmission Shop on Gratiot in Detroit and they had better reviews than most. I called and spoke to Zack who told me to bring the car right in. While everyone else was telling me it would be days before they could even look at it, he worked hard to meet my needs and was able to have his mechanic look at it today. He was kind and generous and I was blown away at how perfectly they treated me! They made me feel special and important and managed to get the job done for me in one day!!!!
