Had a front tire with a quadrant imbalance I wasted too much time on at home. Cycle gear and other shops usually have a 2-7 day wait list running $60-$80 for front&rear tire change & balance. Guys at MWarehouse took time out of their busy day to finish my balance for me and did it within the hour. Only $12 for a balance but they were nice enough to do it free of charge. I checked their work at home and the tire had a "true balance" so I can say this shop will do it the right way. They won't give tires back with a slow drift that's "good enough" like a lot of shops will. Will come back here if needed. read more

So I bought a mini truck at this location. I have found that they don't inspect their mini's all that professionally. And I must say since they deleted my post on facebook but didn't reach out to me at all speaks even more to this. The pics you will see are off the actual frame where it meets the cross member behind the battery. This is easily 2k plus in repair which is a third of the cost of the truck. I have used them before and not had any problems. Wow! Things have changed. First I noticed a sign made up on the door that said they no longer do any service work except for tire changes. Well, they need to give that up too. I dropped off a wheel and tire and a new rim. They had previously installed the tire for me but evidently didn't check to see if it leaked. I had to put air in it daily. Crust inside the rim, so I bought a new one and wanted the tire moved from one to the other. They charged extra because the had to move the rotor too. Understandable. But they moved the rotor and not the adapter that makes it fit to the wheels. They left the adapter on the old wheel thus creating a free floating sort of affair that could surely get someone killed. I told them I didn't want to reuse the Nyloc washers. They say you can, but I would never on front end parts, especially brakes. They didn't even have any in stock. He told me to go buy some and he would install the brake rotor correctly. I said no thanks, I will do it myself, I can do it right, and not kill somebody. Then he got mad when I asked him for a receipt. He said "FINE! I'll write you a hand written receipt!" These guys don't even give receipts for their work! Hmmm... Then when I was putting it in my truck i noticed that they had also destroyed the brand new bearing seal. These guys need to give up ALL work and just stick to selling all those branded title junk bikes they sell. At least they probably give receipts for them. read more

If you're questioning whether or not to trust this business, you can definitely trust them! I traded my motorcycle in and bought a different one. The one I picked up was awesome, until about 30 miles in and less than 72 hours, the bike broke down. Turned out some internal engine components needed to be fixed. The owner took the bike in and tried his best to get it fixed. After a few weeks I asked if I could simply pick a different bike the same price. To my surprise, he agreed. He didn't have to take the bike back and repair it, he didn't have to let me choose a different bike, but he did. I bought the bike as is. He did what was right even though he didn't have to. Bought my first motorcycle ever here just a month ago. I was eyeballing there website every day like a lion stalkings it's prey.... I initially thought I would pick up a Yamaha R6 they were asking $4k for, but once I actually went to the shop and started sitting on bikes, I realized the stance was WAY to aggressive for me. That's when I saw the Triumph Street Triple 675, it was way more comfortable, looked immaculate, and only had one owner. I put a deposit down($200 for 2 weeks) THAT DAY. Exactly two weeks later I came back and paid in full for the bike. They were asking $5500, and that's what I paid. I'm 100% certain Harris would have happily taken $5000, hell, I'm pretty sure he would have taken $4800. But I was FEVERISH to make the bike mine. Anyways .... The day I went to pick up the bike, I decided to ride the bike around the neighborhood just to familiarize myself because this is my first REAL street bike. Well after riding around the block a few times, the bike just DIED. Now I thought for certain this was my fault because I was a new rider, but I called Harris (the owner) anyways and he rode over to assist. As it turns out it WAS an issue with the bike and he essentially pulled lightly on a wire running to the tachometer, and the bike started like normal. I ended up riding back to the shop and they worked on it for about an hour, and then called me to pick it up. Harris was super professional and nice about it. SO FAR, the issue has not come up again. If it comes up again , I would probably give Harris a call...... So.... The bikes amazing. If I could give no stars I would. We bought a mid-size Yanmar from them sight unseen. Very very big and costly mistake. We did not even get an hour of work out of it, when a couple of hydraulic hoses burst. This mid-size excavator was supposed to be "ready to work." It was not at all. It had been repainted and looked very nice, but they did not bother to check all of the old hydraulics. The owner paid a little bit to a shop after I told him. But then after that would not pay any more, it was still not fixed all of the way. And I have sunk more and more money into a machine that was not work ready. Every time a hose is replaced another one just crumbles. We just had a newborn baby and now have huge loan payments on a machine that has not made us any money. This has truly put us in hardship for our family. read more

I gave the shop a call 5x, with 20-40 minute breaks in between. No answer, or will hang up on me 3rd ring in. I was trying to avoid driving 20 miles to ask some simple over the phone questions but that wasn't working. I get to the shop around 12 in the afternoon, the staff are just laughing and talking at their desk while I'm waiting 5 minutes for one of them to approach. I ask them about a bike listed on their website, and tells me all they sold 3 bikes sold that morning and they wouldn't be getting anymore until the following week. I went in hoping to buy duel compound tires for my st1100. The owner looked it up and said they dont make the exact size called for on the front. But he said they made one just a little taller that would fit fine. After purchasing these very expensive tires I ran it around and loved the grip. Stunning. Then at about 95 or so miles an hour the tire shape changed enough to start peeling off in the fork stabilizer bracket and melted my front fender. So now they ask me if I want to buy a new tire. I'm done. Now at 85 mph. The new max speed and with a hop (tire warped due to heat) and paying 35 to have it rebalance something wrong. Drove 5 hours( one way) to look at a tractor that I had been in contact with a employee named harris about all the measurements I had ask for where wrong. (They rounded up to maybe make it sound bigger??) It was obviously much smaller than they had said it was. Tractor was very cheaply refurbished. Wires hooked up backwards or not hooked up at all. I asked why it wasn't hooked up to which harris replied " no one uses them anyways "well they where the hazard lights for roading the tractor so kind of important... muffler was extremely rusty and clearly just painted over. Upper radiator hose had a huge gash in it. Definitely over priced for what it was. And lastly they told me tractor has 5 to ten hours on the meter but it had been rolled back from 1500+ . Fairly high hours for 11,000 dollars. Would not recommend definitely would travel to even look at one not worth your time. read more

This was my experience with Motorcycle Warehouse ;Bought a 1996 Toyota Hiace from Harris and was told it was road trip ready. I was told there was no warranty which is to be expected but he said If anything serious were to happen in the first couple months of owning the van such as a breakdown, he would take care of it. My first trip out of town to the beach and the V belts began slipping like crazy. Had to pull over multiple times and crawl back from the beach to prevent my car from breaking down; was very embarrassing and stressful. Brought it back to Harris to get the tension adjusted on the belts (alternator and belts were replaced prior to my purchase) and the slipping stopped temporarily. After this, my belts constantly needed tension. I noticed the brand new belts were severely worn down due to the slipping from driving to the beach and back so I went to Napa to get the belts matched up and replaced myself. When I got to Napa, all the clerks were looking at my belt in disbelief it was the proper belt for the car; that the belt I had was meant for lawn mowers, tractors, etc. and were too small for my vehicle. When asking Harris about the belt size, I was told not to worry about it. A month and a half after my purchase I try to drive an hour to mt. hood and my alternator dies in the pass. I had to wait 3 1/2 hours for a tow truck on the side of the highway. At this point I had lost all confidence in my car and felt very regretful of my purchase. I called Harris to explain the situation and immediately he was very defensive and talking over me on the phone and continued to be difficult until I explained the situation with the alternator to which he changed tones and said the alternator was under warranty but that he wouldn't cover the labor. Fair enough I thought (even though I had only driven the van less than 1000 miles). Took it to a shop that Harris recommended called A and M tire and they quoted me 125 for the alternator. Being a Les schwab mechanic, I am capable of doing the work myself but being the alternator had broken down and I was nervous about another breakdown, paying 125 dollars for someone else to be liable sounded good to me. It took a good month for Harris to get the alternator and when A and M tire got it, they did the work they tripled the price without a consulting me before hand; very unprofessional of A and M tire. I also requested that the belts be replaced because I wanted no remaining variables from last breakdown; Harris and A and M tire told me the belts were fine and didn't need replacement regardless of my request. After I got my car back from A and M, the drive home I could tell the belts were still slipping, just like they were before my van broke down initially. Very frustrated at this point I bring it back to A and M tire To which they finally agree to replace the belts. They gave my car back and told me the belts that were on there before were simply too small and weren't meant for automotive. When confronting Harris with this information he continued to be defensive and ignorant. He refused to accept and accountability when it was clear the belts that he installed were the cause of the breakdown. Aside from the belts, the van I was sold was riddled with a rust covered over with rattle can spray paint in multiple places, 4 holes in the roof, one the size of a quarter, a hole underneath the window on the trunk door, significant rust underneath the steering wheel, mold underneath the subfloor, multiple air leaks and tears in the hoses and so on. Seller beware; there are better places to buy these vans from people who actually know what proper parts belong in the car and don't just change basic fluids, give it some touch up paint and hide various problems. Very unfortunate I had to buy a polished turd and be an experiment for these guys and I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. more importantly I hope Motorcycle diesel warehouse makes a better effort to not make sure their vehicles are "road trip ready". read more

I once bought a bike from them a (800 Vulcan) in mint condition and at a great deal. And honestly at 1st I was what's the catch...lol but it's just what they are all about.I have referred friends who have purchased bikes and gotten repairs who now love them and refer them as well. I have taken my bikes in for any needed service and I have always been happy and satisfied. In fact If it's something I can't do or don't want to do I just see them. No reason to look around. Like Gordon W I have an older (1980) Suzuki GS550. After being in storage for a while it was running rough, idling high, starting hard and dogging out randomly. I asked MW to do the carbs and they recommended the valves and plugs too, so I went for it all. Even with ordering the gasket kit, the job was done quickly and now it's running great. I WAS hoping that I'd get more discussion out of them regarding diagnosis so I could learn a bit more, but they did the job well and for a good price, so I am happy. I bought a bike here, and while short term I had some issues with it, I spoke with the owner, and he really stressed that he's a guy who wants people to be happy with their bikes, and he allowed me to swap it out completely. I'm much happier with my second bike, and he really did go out of his way to make it work for the swap - given I'd already submitted my title to the DMV, so it wasn't convenient for him to allow it. I respect a guy who makes sure his customers are taken care of, even if it's not convenient to him, so go check them out! We brought our new Yamaha R1 into Motorcycle Warehouse to get new sport style clutch and brake levers installed. Two days after taking her home, the clutch burns out. She's practically brand new, only 1100 miles!! She was shifting perfectly fine and and no mechanical problems before we brought her in. But they are denying any accountability and refuse to do any warranty repair that shops normally give on repair. Now we're going to be out another $510 on top of the money we already paid them to install the levers. And because they wouldn't fix it we had to pay to tow elsewhere. I recently purchased a 2005 Royal Star Tour Deluxe and the service and experience was great. I had to wait for my title from the bank since I was trading my Yamaha Silverado 1100. The allowed me to make a deposit on the bike, gave me an estimate on the bike I was trading in and told me bring it back when you have the title and we are good. The act of buying a bike was more like a transaction with your buddy. It's more like "hey, how much for this bike?" You get the price and no pressure. Went to motorcycle wearhouse to get a tires on my harley. After being told several diffrent prices for the same tires. 50 bucks less over the phone. 50 bucks more when i got there. Once the work was done..... 5 hours later. (I was told they couldnt get my front break to prime is why it took so long. After getting my bike home i noticed THEY REMOVED MY LOCK WASHERs ON MY AXELS. DID NOT REPLACE. MY BACK TIRE WAS MISALINED SO BAD MY TIRE WAS RUBBING ON MY BELT. .. I called them. ...they were rude. They ask if i got my new tires....i said yes. Went and bought a Ninja 650r from here last week and everyone they are extremely helpful and accommodating. I had to rent a motorcycle trailer to pick up the bike and I didn't have any straps, but Motorcycle Warehouse did! And he helped me strap it down nice and tight. Like I said, extremely great shop, they have a ton of really nice bikes for good prices. Highly recommending this place would be a complete understatement. They sold me a bike without doing any routine maintenance on it. The front cylinder leaks, the breaks are going bad, my blinker went out, and on top of that, if the weather is over 85 degrees it stalls. They sold me the bike in the winter and I'm not even sure if that's so I wouldn't notice that it doesn't work in the heat or not. It disappoints me to see that everyone else is writing good reviews because it seems like for the most part they are good-hearted individuals, but I paid $2000 for a '02 SV650 that can hardly run for more than 5 minutes before it stalls, and I can't help but feel they screwed me over. read more
