Riding off into the sunset (parking lot) on my Honda Rebel 500, (color: Pearl Beige), 2025.

10/10 great place to purchase a motorcycle! As a female rider, it can be super daunting buying a motorcycle, but the team at Bob's were so friendly and supportive. Big thanks to Zak for helping me make the final decision on a Honda Rebel 500, as well as the team up front (finance, processing and asking where my first ride would be!) as well as Jordan for great conversation and support. I would DEFINITELY buy from here again, Bob's is #1 in Oregon for motorcycles in my opinion.

    2025 Kawasaki Ninja 500 ABS

I came into this dealership multiple times sitting on a Ninja 500 w/abs. Weeks had gone by and the one I was really wanting had sold. I was bummed. But the Salesman Jordan, he let me know that the original blk/red Ninja 500 ABS I had sat on , was still there! I was stoked! He kept talking to the service department and working numbers with us until everything was perfect! Had such a wonderful time and experience!! Highly recommend these guys over the douché that screwed me over in Hillsboro! And yes-- they allow you to do test ride. You need to endorsed and fill out your paperwork. However, I paid in full, so I'm not sure if there's a difference. You have either 15 mins or 15 miles -whichever comes first, to find out if you don't LOVE it, you can bring it back and shred your paperwork.

5 Star Review for Stephen Davis! He was so easy going and knowledgeable and above all, patient. He worked hard to get us the best deal possible. This was a wonderful experience and the easiest dealership we have ever worked with. Stephen was so efficient and professional. The whole process was stress free and pleasant. I can't thank Stephen enough for making this buying experience so amazing. We will definitely be returning customers. This is our 3 bike we have purchased from Stephen. We love working with him.

Call them set up a deal on on the phone for KLR with out the door Price get there and they wanted another $1500 after the deal was 100% set up on the phone went to Hillsboro and bought it for $1500 less on the same day

Thank you Lue and all the staff that made the process of buying my new MT-03. I was able to find the exact bike I was looking for at a good price and Lue was fast and efficient in getting and the paperwork ready for me when I came in. The whole process took about and hour from the time I got there till I left with my new bike. I will definitely be back when it's time for another bike and will recommend you are the dealership to everyone I know.

The newly remodeled service area - or at least a sign for it.

I've got a love/ hate relationship with this place. On the one hand, the service department is thorough, reliable and does good work, even if the prices are a bit high - but then, it's a dealership. I've had my bike worked on here multiple times, and it's always been done right, albeit at a high price. Also props for the remodel of the service center customer area, which is way more inviting, comfortable and modernized (at last). Where they lose me is in the other parts of this sprawling, multi-layered compound. The dealership part, with new models on the floor, is surprisingly crowded, badly lit and poorly laid out. The bikes just aren't presented well and it's lame - I mean, come on this is a Bob Lanphere joint! You've been in business for years! And don't get me started on the separate parts and accessories area behind that, in another huge room, where you'll find boots, jackets, helmets, riding gear, etc etc. You'll only 'find' them however, if you're lucky - because the organization in this department is nonexistent, with no signage designating what's what or where, what's men's or ladies, what sizes, and so on. You have to wade through rows and rows of randomly placed items to find anything. They probably need to go check out Cycle Gear - or even Paradise Harley, right down the street - any other legit dealership/ store that has figured out how to lay out a retail space for apparel. On the other hand, Lanphere has a pretty wide selection of a lot of different gear, so you find yourself coming here more than you care to. Ugh. Frustrating.

Jordan is the best, he spent a bunch of time explaining riding tips and bike info that other salesmen wouldn't.

Earlier this year I broke down on the side of the road and called them; they arrived promptly and were able to provide a roadside fix so I could get home safely and get a permanent repair in place. It was a hot summer day and I was stuck on the side of I-5 without water or shade and the owner called in one of his team that was off that day to come get me since the on-duty rep was out on a tow in another area. They went to great lengths to make sure someone was on side promptly and I was safe and assisted. Months later, my bike broke down at home. I wasn't able to be with the vehicle and ride to the shop with Thunder Mtn, but because of my first great experience I knew they would always act with integrity. They picked up my vehicle from home and took it to the shop for me, calling when they were onsite and loaded up and right after it was dropped off at the shop. Butch, the owner, communicated well throughout and is such a kind person to boot. He, as his employees, always act with the utmost integrity and thoughtfulness. I have Thunder Mtn programmed in my phone now, and they're my go-to for towing and roadside assistance. They're always there when you need help. They make it all so easy - thank you for your service!

I would have never known this place existed if I hadn't ordered a tire online and the seller had a note that shipping was free if I did a will call at Cycle Gear. OK... they are just a couple of miles away so why not. So looking at the place I figured it was mostly targeted at relatively new riders who were looking for helmets and other rider gear. And they certainly have racks of that stuff. Talking to one of the guys at the desk I inquired about rotor upgrades and he said, "sure!". Pulled out a catalog and showed me a few choices that would fit my bike. This fellow was clearly more knowledgeable than those guys at a parts store. You know the type. What year, model, engine size, color, blah, blah, blah so that they can figure out what windshield wiper will fit. And inevitably hand you a part that DOESN'T fit. So in chatting I find out they will install tires if you bring in the wheel. Install and balance for a pretty reasonable price. I see that at least one Yelper complained that the store manager would not allow him to watch the process which could be a problem for me. That's my life we're talking about. I do my own work or I watch whoever is doing the work to be sure it's done correctly. If that's going to be a problem for them I will be forced to update this review. But for now, my experience with Cycle Gear has been 100% positive. Great prices. Great staff. Easy to get to. Lots of parking. I haven't looked over their inventory closely but I suspect that most repair and maintenance items will need to be ordered which is usually not a problem for me. I buy pretty much nothing at the dealerships and, in fact, the dealerships usually don't have what I need in stock anyway. So I can buy for less online. Not that it's a big deal for my purposes but Cycle Gear is more geared to sport bike riders and not Harleys. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing most of the gear they have on the rack. No judgments and no minus stars. CG knows their market and their model seems to be working for them. I'm just happy to have a resource to have tires installed and also purchase parts from. Very glad they are so close by!
