Took in my front wheel (off bike) and a new tire for install. They did a mount and balance for $35 plus another $5 for disposal (optional). They were very nice and it only took them about 20 minutes to do the work. Edit: I fixed the issue in 10 mins by myself and these bozos were telling me 3 hours labor to diagnose it. Had to do the initialization sequence to code the quick shifter to the ECU. I asked Andres if he tried this he told me yes Im sure he was lying just like everything else you guys lied about. Literally took me 1 minute to do the procedure and 9 mins of research. Lift up on shift lever into 2nd gear for 5 secs with ignition ON. Then turn off the bike off and back on again. Quick-shifter works perfect now when these absolute scammers wanted me to spend 800 on parts plus labor when they didnt even know what the issue was. Total clowns What a terrible experience. Called to get tires installed and my quick shifter checked as its having issues. I didnt even ask for the price and I was told the diagnostic for the QS issue would be free. I drop the bike off and they spend a bunch of time wasting to test the QS when they have a spare one there they could have used to test (its their own r1 they have had in the shop for years nice BS lying comment response below) he even told me he would use it to test just to come back at 10 am Tuesday which I did but the stubborn guy Alvaro refused to even though I said I would be happy to pay. They tell me they DONT KNOW WHAT THE ISSUE IS and that they tested the QS sensor and its fine, so its likely the harness is the issue. They tell me to go spend 400$ on an aftermarket kit WHICH PLUGS IN THE OEM HARNESS which is what they said has the issue, SO I WOULD HAVE WASTED EVEN MORE TIME AND MONEY WITH THEM. Why not just suggest me to buy the OEM harness for 40$ if thats the issue that you are claiming? Why tell me to spend 400$ on something that plugs into the part that you said is broken? You wanna waste more of customers time? These guys literally seem braindead when it comes to fixing these types of issues and dont care about the customers time. The son Andres was telling me that the aftermarket kit has a separate module, which it doesnt and hes just feeding me BS information. Alvaro told me to drive out first thing in the morning today and he would help me and I show up and he is refusing to help me with anything and completely wasted my time. Why even bother telling me to come out on Tuesday if you were gonna just tell me that youre not going to help me. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT INCOMPETENT MECHANICS THAT RIP YOU OFF AND WASTE HOURS OF YOUR TIME. How does this terrible shop have 5 stars? Did you all get your family to leave fake reviews on here? What a total joke of a shop. You say respect goes both ways but you showed me or my time zero respect. You told me to come in but then refused to help calling me problematic when I just paid you $200 the last time I was in the shop. Lied to me about diagnostic fee trying to charge me then blaming me when I am upset when I was lied to and told the diagnostic was free. You tried charging 40$ to tighten a lever when you can buy a brand new lever for less than that. 30 mins and 65$ for GP shift which is unscrewing a bolt and drilling a hole? Fast quality work with no BS and waste of time. All techs are super knowledgeable . ALVARO the head mechanic ( and I think also the owner ) come from a background of racing which is all about timing and efficiency, which explains his rather no lag, and rather quick approach and work in general done with utmost attention to detail and quality. They also don't have a huge shop which pushes them to not sit on your ride, but get it done and get it out quick while keeping their overhead significantly low with today's operational cost of running a business and astronomical rent. I have multiple motorcycles Buell , Harley Davidson , Ducati and the quietest one of them all my livewire 1 Electric Hd that have been worked on and serviced by them for almost 4 years now and I've been to most shops around LA and have come across a lot of them, not only not being knowledgeable in different bikes, but simply rejecting work on Buells not even speaking about Electric ones that people usually take straight to the dealer paying triple the price. Alvaro is the best. I brought my Kawasaki Super Sherpa here because it wasn't starting and had an oil leak. After talking to him I also decided to get new front and rear blinker lights. Within a couple days he assessed the problem, it needed the carb cleaned and the oil filter was actually put in backwards. I got the bike back about a week and a half later. The price was fair and the bike rides like a dream. By the way I had taken it to another shop before Moto Pops where it sat for three weeks without even being looked at. And they wanted 115.00 diagnostic fee before they even would look at it. So glad I picked up my bike and took it to Alvaro. I will definitely be back for time ups etc! read more
