I stopped by here just to get the Dali beers. We went down to Sarasota to get lunch for our anniversary and stopped on the way home as I am a big fan of Dali and the Museum. I wasn't able to taste the beer in advance, but I bought it anyway for the cans. The beer is purple and is not bad. There are several flavors on the menu that look awesome though! Went to watch the Michigan game. We spent about $300 trying different beer food and spirits. Tipped about $60. We were finishing off our drinks and a guy at the bar yelled out, " Get up and get the F#&k out". I know it was after close but we were just sitting there quietly finishing drinks. There was a better way to do this without alienating your clientele. It didn't need to go down like that. With so many options in the greater Tampa area, why would you act like this to paying repeat customers? Apparently this guy was the manager. read more

Love this place. It's up in Bradenton but worth the trip. The beers are excellent. Pulp Friction is a must have and they have some other really great ones. You can try them in a flight. Pineapple ice cream and the lavender ale are two other really unique brews. Tons of seating inside and out and always a fun vibe. They have a food truck. Options are limited for vegans or vegetarians but the hot rod pretzels are amazing. They have events and live music which we haven't caught yet but they have a big stage out back. The photos of the outside area are real. If you don't know what I'm talking about go check out the photos section now. It's just great to drink in an outdoor setting that kinda looks like Avatar and makes your date's eyes sparkle. Beer is fun, can really vary. Some of their beer is very experimental, including one literally called Bizarre Gardening Accident, and another made with oysters. I really enjoy that kind of branching out. Lately they've had some great Imperial Stouts too. Other beers can be kind of the same as you can get anywhere, like a lager or an IPA. They do flights, which it seems not everyone knows what is so, that means you write several beers down on a piece of paper and a paddle arrives with a 4oz glass of each beer you wrote down. I believe you can do 4-6 beers for about $10-20 depending on the beers you pick. They mostly don't limit your flight choices which is nice, a lot of bars most unusual options - that you might love, you might hate - are full pour only. The pizza is way too expensive. Order pickup on your way for half the price. Lots of games to play, which is probably better suited for a daytime visit. They do growler fills so if you own one, bring it just in case, you could roll out with a rare seasonal you love. But above all, that outside patio is just great for dates at night. Sat at the bar for a quick lunch because we were craving burgers and were downtown. Did not disappoint! Patty's Melt was a huge hit - very good. Our first visit was on a Saturday for lunch after we visited the nearby art studios. The beer was good and we can see that is why they are popular. Our server was a rockstar -- one of two to open on a busy a Saturday before others finally came in, but lack of obvious leadership to assist was so sad. Who the heck manages/owns this place? This is why we prefer local craft breweries where the owners are still obviously active in day to day business front of house. It would be so much better for your rockstar servers to just handle drinks and let guests go to the food trucks. Service was severely downgraded because of this. The piles of styrofoam boxes on the merch counter got to be overwhelming and food was steaming in them. Not to mention that styrofoam Is gross for the environment. Also, I do not recommend going out the back way to the right of the stage -- full of trash and OMG that food truck trailer needs to have an inspection. We tipped her 30% to make up for the older Bradenton population that was mainly present at that time of day getting upset about service and not understanding it's not their fault. Bad brewery owners and poor leadership decisions are why staffing is a problem at these bigger breweries. Every single time. read more

We arrived on a Friday night, a group of 4, and were lucky enough to find a table outside. The servers were swamped and our table hadn't been cleaned and it took awhile to get served. We all love their beer, and this time was no different. The Blues music was decent and everyone was having fun. All was good for me until a drunken group of women playing large "beer pong" hit me in the back of the head with a volleyball. They never came and apologized, just stood laughing. Wow! I didn't think much of it, but woke up the next morning with an ache in my neck and I have had a headache that won't go away. Don't know what happened, but I mayhave to go to a doctor soon. We waited 30 minutes on a slow night and what was delivered to the table was not what we ordered. Server apologized and said he made an error on the order entry system. Rather than waiting another 30 minutes for a sandwich we kept the wrong food. The live music was possibly the worst I've seen. The "Divas of Soul" should pack it in. It actually hurt to listen to the first act destroy some classic Whitney Houston songs. At $20/ticket, we should've known it would be well below average. There is no way to contact this establishment short of driving up and walking in to ask a question. Nobody answers a phone, all options lead to hang ups, etc. Poor customer experience overall. read more

It's my small way of supporting & thanking them for the long commute he made to St. Pete. It was an early afternoon and they were already out of Cruiser (Kolsch) & Pulp Fiction (IPA). I sampled their Lavender Ale - a robust floral taste - this beer is made just for you & not too hoppy, either & just the right level! Also, they have free popcorn indoors along with long tables and a very long bar area where they gave me a couple samples of different beer. I ordered some beer from Mortorworks for pickup during COVID 19 closures, not realizing that their Orlando location wasn't open yet. I sent a panicky email asking if I could cancel my order since I live so far from Bradenton, then Barry called me back and actually arranged for my beer to be taken to Orlando for me to pick up! Once it was in Orlando, the protests following George Floyd's murder were pretty rampant, so Wes was sweet enough to stop near my place in Davenport on his way back to Bradenton for me to get my beer! All I can say is these guys have a fantastic selection of beers and they're incredibly nice and easy to work with. I can't wait to visit them once their Orlando location opens! read more

Went tonight to see first annual country festival. I wasn't sure why they charged $35 for a couple mediocre shows. We were the about 5:15 and were able to see Chas Collins. He was awesome. The next act was a glorified karaoke singer then last act was a Shania Twain tribute band. Chas Collins should have been the closing band. He was awesome and put a lot of energy into his performance - also helped having an awesome fiddle player. There's no need to comment on karaoke singer-you can see that at most bars during the week. The Shania Twain tribute band wasn't good. Singer was off key. In my opinion, $35 was a steep price and venue wasn't well attended. Better luck next year read more

We sat inside and apparently the customers outside were more important...consistently getting orders at the bar and taking them outside...repeat. 7-28-2022 Stephanie and I needed to get away! We thought about going to the baseball game but it had already began, so we thought we just sit outside. We had already had a full day or stuff. I thought let's go to motorworks for a couple drinks. Stephanies, stomach was bothering her, but she said yea let's go! Well we headed over and needed to park, that was the worst part. We got in and passed thru to the beer garden, sat up near the huge tree. Sadly the picnic bugs made us change seats , it was a hot night but got better when a guy repositioned a fan for us!!! New hero!! We had several beers but Stephanie likes her Coors light, the server Kristina, brought Steph a light lager and I got my favourite Pulp Friction. Delicious, both of them!! Then I noticed the Spruce pale ale!! Winner winner, I've been wanting to try something similar, I researched early in the spring about making a spruce simple syrup for adding to cocktails, had already harvested the spruce tips but things got busy. Yummy food! Great live music! Our server Korrine's cheery disposition and her prompt attention were a plus to dining outside.

We stumbled upon this brewery after a quick walk through the Villages of the Arts, we had heard the band blocks away. It's a really quaint location, smack dead in the middle of a residential neighborhood in downtown Bradenton. We only stopped for a short while, listening to the band and sitting under the beautiful, old tree. I really wanted to LOVE this place, atmosphere was just great. But their beers are sadly lacking in quality. They tasted flat, no head. I tried a variety, ipa, wheat, porter. All had spice to them, yet no body. Maybe I tried the wrong ones. This was my first time to ever come and I will never come back. 1st it took a server (Tracy) over 20 min to come to our table and the place was almost empty. Then it took another 15 min to get 3 drinks. We then waited while trying to wave the waitress down just yo order food. Finally we gave up and went to another waitress but since we had an open tab we had to use our absent waitress. Then she was confused about what an open sandwich meant so we explained leave the veggies on the side. When the food arrived the sandwich was missing the top bun and the veggies were on top of the burger. We then found out that this place didn't have a kitchen. They only have a food truck. 2nd my other friend had a food in her plate. We were never asked about needing more drinks and the waitress argued with us about our food and tab. I will never return to this place and don't recommend it to anyone. Half of their beers were gone due to the night before supposedly and the manager was out buying supplies for football games on Saturday. read more
