Stopped into MOTW Coffee in Lombard for a morning treat! They have (4) IL locations throughout the burbs and this was my first time visiting one. I was surprised at how large the inside was with plenty of seating to catch up with friends, work remote, or have a solo date. Their menu is not overly large but I appreciated how straight forward it was. All food items were also on display which helped me decide easily. I ended up ordering the Iced Rose Cardamom Latte & French Toast Muffin. My order was ready within minutes and the staff member even heated up my muffin some. I thought the Latte flavor came through nicely and I thoroughly enjoyed my muffin.

The place was open, welcoming, and had a calm atmosphere. It was pretty quiet, which makes sense for a morning visit -- though I did wonder if, like some other coffee shops, they choose not to play music at that time. I ordered a small iced vanilla lavender latte (decaf, of course). It started off great -- the first few sips were flavorful -- but as I kept drinking, the taste seemed to fade. I also got an asiago bagel with cream cheese, which didn't disappoint. Next time, I'm planning to try their biscotti latte -- it sounds promising!

Popped in for a quick coffee and snack before I got a tattoo at Alchemy right up the road. Staff were very friendly, easy to order. The coffee shop is huge and seems easy to settle into with a laptop to do some work. The latte was pretty good, couldn't taste much of the pistachio but it is a subtle flavor. I enjoyed the samosa, it was essentially just samosa filling inside an empanada casing. I love that they have a multi-religion prayer/quiet room available to anyone to use. Seems like they have a great work ethic. Overall a great coffee shop!

It is true about their parking lot. The parking lot facing the apartments are residential and the lot facing the cafe along with shared shops are public. Make sure you park on the correct side just in case. It doesn't look like it from the outside but the inside is huge. There is no shortage of seating unless it gets absurdly busy. They have lattes, refreshers, espressos, chai, hot teas, ice cream, pound cakes, and a variety of pastries. The menu is Middle Eastern inspired with influences from Latin America (empanadas) and America (muffins and croissants). We ordered a date cardamom latte, green, strawberry, mango refresher, pistachio milk cake, and bird's nest baklava. The drinks were good. Neither was too sweet or bitter. The pistachio milk cake was surprisingly very moist and flavorful. The bird's nest baklava was not sweet, a good crunch from the pistachios and bird's nest. Service was very friendly. The employee explained what all of the pastries were and whether or not they were too sweet. Pricing was fair.

We came here on a Wednesday night. It is a big cafe that opens late. It is a perfect place for people to hang out, do work, or study. They have many different varieties of pastries to pick from: croissants, muffins, milk cake, baklava, Dubai chocolates, and empanadas. They also have a lot of different flavors on lattes and refreshers. We ordered pistachio milk cake, bird's nest, strawberry mango refresher, and date cardamom latte. The milk cake was very moist and not too sweet. I like the bird's nest the best because I love pistachios. It was crunchy and filled with pistachio. It wasn't too sweet. It made me want to get a second one. The latte was good. The staff was nice and friendly. He took the time to tell us what each item was. I wish they had tags on some of the items so we don't have to ask him what each item is. I would go back again to try the other pastries.

Pretty and peaceful and opens late til 11pm so it's really nice. Free WiFi and parking and nice area and safe. Staff are nice. Food is nice. Space is huge and beautiful. Love the decor. Music is not blaring loud so it's nice. Love Yemeni coffee and desserts. Brightly lit and there's a nice apartment bustling across the street and other restaurants nearby. They also have an interfaith prayer room! How nice and respectful for those who want to practice their religion. Will love to return all the time if I could. The chai tea was really good w cardamom.

Great spot with fast, friendly service and a welcoming vibe. The place is spacious and clean perfect for relaxing with a small group without feeling crowded. The food and pastries not only look amazing but taste just as good. Prices are on the higher side, but you get what you pay for...

Cool coffee shop to work or socialize. Great coffee and too many yummy looking treats - it was hard to decide which one. Seating is comfortable and plentiful. Lots of natural light from the n=many windows.

    Date Cardamon latte
    Luke S.

Their date Cardamon latte was excellent. One of the best lattes I've had. The date cookies were also excellent and perfectly done. The service was great. There is plenty of places to sit inside the ambiance is better than most coffee shops in the area, and better than anything in St Charles/Geneva (where I'm based). It's truly a hidden gem in that regard. The only negative was the croissant I ordered was stale, and impossible to chew - not fresh. I would recommend their coffee and date cookies, just maybe skip the croissants. I will ignore than in the review because everything else was perfect. A very nice place that elevates downtown Lombard.

i've been eyeing this place for a long time, but never had the chance to come since it's an hour away from me. I had something to do in the area and finally got to try. i love this place!! the coffee shop is open super late and also early if you're a morning riser!! tons of tables. there's outside seating as well (which was very dusty unfortunately). i got a seasonal drink, the Biscoff Pumpkin and it's super good. $7.68 for a medium is pretty absurd though, but at least it's tasty i guess. yes, the wifi reaches outside!! and there are a few outlets to use along the walls. i wish i lived closer!!

Crumb cake and the best cappuccino I've ever had
    J S.

A perfect cup, beautiful space, and a mission worth supporting Easily one of the best coffee shop experiences I've ever had. My cappuccino was outstanding, probably the best I've had in my life. My wife's chai tea was equally impressive, and the crumb cake we shared was delicious. The space is beautiful, with a smart, modern aesthetic, touches of Turkish and Middle Eastern design, plenty of natural light, and immaculately clean. Their mission is inspiring, and it's worth taking a moment to browse the book they have on display about it. Nasser, who was working during our visit, was very friendly and attentive. He mentioned there's another location in Skokie, which is closer to where I live. I'll probably start going there regularly.

This coffee shop is beautiful, empowering and spacious. Nice natural light and great hazelnut latte. Service was very friendly and prompt.

    Prayer room
    Cassie T.

What a beautiful coffee shop! There is an abundance of parking, and the shop itself is very clean and spacious, looks like a great place to get some work/studying done. Brownie points for the prayer room! We tried the biscoff latte and Spanish latte. The employee gave me a heads up that the biscoff latte would be sweet, and she was right lol. The medium comes with two scoops of biscoff and you could get less but I tried the full order anyway, it was sweet but tasty! The Spanish latte has condensed milk and cinnamon and that was pretty good as well. They offer a bunch of pastries and even tres leches cake in different flavors (coffee, pistachio, Nutella?). I fully regret not getting a cake but I will be back for sure lol I think the best part about this coffee shop is the service. Phenomenally welcoming and friendly staff, thank you to the kind workers that helped us today :) 10/10 recommend trying this place out for the good vibes

The flavor was incredible, smooth and rich. I also tried the pistachio cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious perfectly balanced. Maybe a bit to much chocolate on topo. The presentation matched the taste, and it paired beautifully with the coffee. The café itself has a wonderful atmosphere thoughtfully decorated and very inviting. The ambience is unmatched--cozy, welcoming, and full of charm. My husband and I used to live nearby, and some of our favorite memories are walking over on weekends with our pup, grabbing coffee, and sitting out front just enjoying the moment. I recently visited the Elmhurst Craft location for an event and had one of those experiences that just sticks with you. I was chatting with a barista about how much I love (and deeply miss!) the Equinox. She mentioned she was newer and hadn't tried it, but saw it in the recipe book and agreed it sounded amazing--which, for the record, it absolutely is (or was ). A little while later, she came running up to me asking if I was the one talking about the Equinox. When I said yes, she surprised me with an Equinox sticker she had dug up. Such a small, simple gesture--but it genuinely meant so much and made my entire night. To the Brewpoint leadership team: that moment alone earned my loyalty for life. Customer service like that is rare, and it deserves to be recognized. I didn't catch her name, but I was there Thursday, March 19 between 6-8 PM at the Craft location--she was running the sample table and sharing the carrot cake latte (which, by the way, was incredible). The Carrot Cake Latte may be a new all time favorite of mine! It wasn't too sweet but just leaned into the flavor profile enough. My coworker who had the Hot Borealis said it may have been her favorite latte she's tried. I also got the Herbed Goat Cheese Croissant which is familiar yet unique with the pop of savoriness. Overall, this was a great experience as a stop in when passing through the area. Brewpoint continues to have great flavors that leaves a lasting impression. Staff is friendly and pricing is fair.

We tried several things from this cafe, and everything was phenomenal, but there was one thing that was beyond all the stars, but here's a breakdown of it all: Potato Savory - so basically if you're looking for chaat, this is it. They call it savory, we call it chaat, but in either case, you can tell this isn't something pre-made and slapped into a bowl. The veggies were crunchy, not soggy. The chutney was sharp, but not overwhelming. And all the condiments and veggies and chickpeas together made a cohesive dish, well balanced. Definitely recommend. 8.5/10 Chicken Club Sandwich - this sandwich is....a LOT. In a good way! The pulled chicken is seasoned well. It's massive and there is a lot of flavor in each bite. This gives Chai Ho Jai (Naperville) a definite run for its money. 9/10 Filli Chicken Seasoned Flatbread - we tried this one second, and my God, it's a definite 10 out of 10! 10/10. Dynatime Chicken Flatbread - okay, so we tried this flatbread first, and I thought it was a 10/10, but then I tried the other flatbread and realized this was a definite 11/10! Lacha Melt Chicken - this was great, very akin to a quesadilla with a paratha. Unique concept, yes, but not my favorite thing here. And yet, well seasoned and delicious. 8/10! Pistachio Latte (Iced) - this was a stand out. This latte was SO delicious, I got one - everyone took a sip, and then we ordered more! Sooooo goooooooood!!!! 10/10! Now let's get to the STAR OF THE SHOW: The FRIES - the fries that came with all the entrees were hot, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The perfect specimen for a fry. Add to that the lovely spice powder sprinkled on top of them - they are delicious, melt in your mouth, and in addition to being the perfect accompaniment to the food, they're absolutely great all on their own! 100/10! Definitely recommend this place - the ambience and the service are both absolutely great. As long as the taste of the food remains consistent and this place remains clean and hospitable, this is going to be one of the top notch places in the area. Don't come here thinking you're going to quietly ease into the day with a cup of coffee and croissant contemplating the meaning of your existence. The floor plan at this location more closely emulates its major French-inspired competitor (also corporate South Korean) and a much condensed bakery offering than the Naperville (Ogden Ave.) location. You pick your own goods from various cases and get your coffee at the counter. The counter service has a disjointed workflow and they can't seem to get to the point where you leave the counter with all of your order, having to wait for your coffee or some other item. They then yell out (yes, yell) your name over the background din. You have to go up and ask if they just said your name. It's actually sort of funny, and a bit annoying.
