    My lovely latte!
    Celia ..

Amazing coffee served by a friendly and talented staff. Great baked goods too, which pair perfectly with my latte!

This place has plenty of seating once you walk in and WiFi if you wanted to WFH. We got their banana matcha and adeni chai which was good. It was like banana cold foam on top of the matcha. The service was great. We also got their honeycomb (khaliat Alnahl) and which has cheese balls in between and it was good. Really liked how this place is very calming with no music playing. There's plenty of options on the menu including breakfast croissant or desserts.

I love the ambiance, the music they play. The Adeni tea is my favorite so delicious and desserts. I love the customer service the cashier Tamara was so sweet.

Qahwah House is a quaint coffee/tea place that has unique drinks and sweets. They feature Yemeni style teas and coffee drinks. We tried a pot of the Adeni Chai. It's very popular here. It was rich tasting with cardamom, nutmeg and evaporated milk. It was served in traditional tea glasses which made the experience unique. Service is very friendly and also quick if you're in a hurry. They make their own deserts which were fresh, served warm and tasted delicious. Sabaya which is similar to baklava made with honey and Yemeni butter was delicious. The Khaliat Alnahi (honeycomb) desert filled with a very mild cheese in fluffy dough pockets was just as good. They roast their own coffee and also sell it whole or ground for home. They have a very neat selection of loose gourmet tea blends that I hadn't seen elsewhere! They have a huge variety of hot and cold drinks to select. The cafe gets busy in the evenings and people also working on laptops. Plenty of generous seating areas. Definitely a place to come back to and try other epicurean tea and coffee drinks!

Super poppin and always busy especially during Ramadan so be prepared to wait but it is totally worth the wait. The adeni chai is the best thing on the menu. I prefer getting it with regular sugar but that is pretty sweet so feel free to customize your sugar amount when ordering! The inside has plenty of seating and is very lively but it can be hard to find a seat during peak hours!

We stopped by Qahwah House for a quick coffee break. The place was so packed on a Saturday afternoon but there is tons of seating inside. They offer tons of teas, coffees, expressos, pastries, and other baked goods. We ended up getting a pot of their famous Adeni chai which is what they're known for! It's Yemeni black tea made with milk, cardamom, and nutmeg. It was so so delicious! It paired perfectly with Khaliat Alnahl which is Yemeni dessert made of soft pull apart buttery bread filled with cheese and drizzled with honey! The combination is absolutely delicious! We can't wait to go back and try the rest of their lattes, coffees, and even hot chocolate! Would definitely recommend if you're in the Lombard area!

A unique coffee shop owned by a Yemenis family. The menu has all your core coffee drinks, but also a variety of drinks from Yemen. My wife and I bought a drip coffee and a Jabani. The drip coffee was delicious, rich with floral and cinnamon notes. The Jabani is coffee blended with coffee husks, ginger, cinnamon, and cardamom. The barista suggested sugar, so that was in there too. Delicious! There is a lot of seating in the space, and the east wall has a massive global map that illustrates the movement of the arabica coffee bean around the globe through history. I hope to go back next time I'm in the area!

A wonderful gem to discover just a quick jog north of Butterfield Road. Walking in, I first noticed the big pot of adeni chai roiling away and the wonderful aroma filling the space which has plenty of seating and a nice relaxed feel similar to cafes I've been to abroad. I wish more places had this type of feel that almost encourages hanging out instead of the get in and get out vibe of so many other coffee spots. I took my time checking out the menu and was happy to find that the staff very helpful in answering any questions I had. One of the baristas, Nada, was especially kind and even offered me a taste of the chai which was delicious but when I told her I needed a bit more of a pickmeup she suggested I go with a Yemeni latte. They have a great pastry selection including a tasty version of my new favorite dessert basbousa that I was introduced to on a recent trip to Egypt. All this makes Qahwah House a coffee spot that is definitely worth checking out.

The cup design is so cool.

It was late but I wanted to go out and have some tea with my sister before I flew out of Chicago the next day. She lives in the area and she felt safe going to Lombard. When we got there, the parking lot was pretty full and there was a bunch of people inside this space. I made her go inside anyways, and we figured out a way to get in line and place an order. The young lady cashier placed our order for us and was very helpful.. We ordered Adeni Chai hot tea, khaliat alnahl, sabaya. Desserts were wonderful! Now the chai tea was strong and something I have to get use too but I can get use to this. It tastes strong like coffee and nutty. If you put a little sugar, honey and cream it will work. I enjoyed the experience here. It was def a hang out place buzzing. We stood around until the young ladies next to us left and we took their seats. Btw I found out they have one in NC too!!!

I'm not from Illinois so when I visited Chicago, I looked up as many halal places as I could because I'm a foodie. I also love coffee/tea/boba shops and surprisingly there's so many places in Lombard! I wanted to extend my stay to try more places, but I'm planning on coming back just to try more places later. It's my duty as a Yelp Elite member ;) I've been to the Qawah House in Michigan quite a few times, which I believe is the original, and this location is almost exactly the same. The menu and the decoration inside is the same. I went with the tried and true Adeni tea, which is my go-to and the small pot comes with tiny cups that you can fill over and over again until the pot is finished. I got the flaky bread with honey, which was good, but I prefer the honey comb bread personally. The bathrooms were clean and that's a big plus in my book. Glad to see a Muslim business doing well!

This place is an absolute gem and they need to open a branch in Chicago downtown. I was first introduced to this place when a friend gifted me their powdered tea and I was in awe of them since then! We walked into this place late in the night and it was still very lively with a lot of people enjoying coffee, tea and bakery items. They are usually open until 1-ish AM on weekdays and weekends. We ordered an Adeni Chai which is a Yemenite tea and it was so good. It had very rich flavors of cardamom, and nutmeg. It's served in a pot which can be easily shareable between 4 people. We also tried the Chocolate pistachio tart along with our tea and it was perfect delectable late night desert. They have a lot of desert options and coffees and I'm definitely coming back again to try more!

    Banana matcha and Turkish coffee
    Allyssa L.

I got the banana matcha and my fiance got the Turkish coffee. It was absolutely amazing! They also have lots of other yummy looking desserts and pastries. The environment is comforting. People are conversating but you can still work if needed. The staff are also very friendly. Great place!

    Do they have milk alternatives?

    Yes

Is the variety of coffee limited for someone with a cinnamon allergy?

I have asked them not to put it but I imagine cross-contamination is really common

(Turn on your speaker for the vids to get a better sense of the environment.) This place is more like an institutional cafeteria in decor, activity, and high ambient noise with too many hard surfaces making for an unsettling experience. Don't come here thinking you're going to quietly ease into the day with a cup of coffee and croissant contemplating the meaning of your existence. The floor plan at this location more closely emulates its major French-inspired competitor (also corporate South Korean) and a much condensed bakery offering than the Naperville (Ogden Ave.) location. You pick your own goods from various cases and get your coffee at the counter. The counter service has a disjointed workflow and they can't seem to get to the point where you leave the counter with all of your order, having to wait for your coffee or some other item. They then yell out (yes, yell) your name over the background din. You have to go up and ask if they just said your name. It's actually sort of funny, and a bit annoying. I do have to say the food itself is actually pretty good but nothing near what you would actually experience in Paris, but still good, flavorful. The coffee holds up to scrutiny as well. Though Tous Les Jours seems to offer consistently good everyday food quality, this location, overall, due to the noise levels and semi-sterile environment, resulted in an unenjoyable experience--I would not be back to this location as there are too many better alternatives.

The flavor was incredible, smooth and rich. I also tried the pistachio cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious perfectly balanced. Maybe a bit to much chocolate on topo.
