    Honey cheese pancakes

Love this location!! great place to study or to sit and chat with friends. The place is very clean! I saw an employee cleaning the displays pretty often, which makes me feel better since it's a "pick your own" type of set up. The pastries are delicious! I will be going back to try each one! My favorite so far are the honey cheese pancakes, sweet and salty- pretty balanced.

we come here quite a bit from work, and my boss ordered 2 cakes for bdays in the office. Both were pretty good. We like the beverages here as well. Nice to see college kids doing homework and others working on their laptops, comfortable seating and friendly staff.

Amazing French style dessert that will fill you up. After a hot bowl of Ramen next door, came here to complete the night. The place is clean and the service is friendly. Come over!

I'm a big fan of the Tous les Jours in Naperville, so I was excited to try out the Lombard location. The interior of this location is really nice. It feels more Instagram-ish than the Naperville location. They have an excellent selection of pastries and cakes, as well as drinks. However, they did not have the cloud cream pastry that I like so much at the Naperville location. In any case, we got a blueberry pastry, an almond pastry, a butter pecan latte, and a cappuccino. Both of the pastries were pretty good. I like that Korean pastries don't feel too heavy or sweet. My wife enjoyed the butter pecan latte. The cappuccino was okay, but the layer of foam was not as thick/dense as it's supposed to be. Only a few places can get the foam right, such as Sparrow and A Thousand Tales. Service was good and pricing was on par with similar places. Overall, though, we enjoyed having a treat here after lunch.

But, I am reviewing the Lombard location. The selection was good and fresh, although some of their items are a bit pricey. I ordered cake pops, brownies, and a chocolate chip cookie. The sales person was pleasant and quick. This store is their biggest store, and they feed the Winfield and Schaumburg stores. They make their pastries at this location, so you'll probably get the freshest selection at the Lombard location. I had bought a gift card from Costco for Sweet Reserve. I admit if I hadn't bought it, and received a discount at Costco for it, I probably would not have noticed the store. It's in a small strip mall on Roosevelt road which has hundreds of strip malls off the road. The store itself is clean and well kept. It does have a limited selection of products but they were all pretty good. The brownies are very frudgey, just the way I like them. The cake pops are sweet, but a little dry. The cookie has a lot of chips in them. Overall, I liked the place.

Close at 10pm but if you need longer later hours a 1am tea shop is about a quarter mile down the road with good options also. Parking lot with plenty of parking. My highlight is that they have booths. Plenty of tables and seating. Good menu options for lattes, iced, hot, espresso, etc. Reasonable priced and they have 20oz coffee. The service was nice as the girl was kind but she didn't seem to understand me well and she didn't know if the coffee was Turkish or not. Therefore, I ordered an Americano with their homemade pistachio sauce. It was a nice beverage. I also ordered a Turkish bread with ground beef. It too was delicious, hot and fresh. The ambiance is inviting. The pastries and mini to small cake options were quite beautiful. The nose level was very quiet until little ones came in. Still tolerable but if you are studying and it's busy don't forget your headphones. Lol. I studied for about 3 hours and I would definitely return again.

I've been exploring more Middle Eastern cafés lately, and this one stood out in the best way. I ordered a V60, and honestly it was one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. You can see the care and attention they put into the process, from the precise brewing to serving it with a small pot so I could enjoy the rest at my own pace. The flavor was incredible, smooth and rich. I also tried the pistachio cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious perfectly balanced. Maybe a bit to much chocolate on topo. The presentation matched the taste, and it paired beautifully with the coffee. The café itself has a wonderful atmosphere thoughtfully decorated and very inviting. You can tell a lot of effort was put into creating a warm, stylish, and welcoming space. Between the excellent drinks, the tasty desserts, and the inviting vibe, I left very satisfied and already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend Shaghf Café if you're looking for a quality coffee experience!

The chocolate itself was rich without tasting too heavy, which I liked. Cocomelt - A Dessert Wonderland Worth Every Bite…read more I'm a devoted fan of glorious, over-the-top desserts, and Cocomelt did not disappoint, not once, but twice. In the past two months I've celebrated here with my sister and my consuegra, and each visit left us happily sugared-up and grinning like kids who discovered the cookie jar wasn't hidden after all. I've worked my way through the FOMO, the Knefeh Pistachio, the Lotus Crêpes, the Pistachio Tiramisu, and the Cocomelt Waffle. Every one of them was indulgent, rich, beautifully made, and absolutely worth the moment of silence you take between bites. This is dessert as an art form, and I am a willing student. Portions are generous enough that both times we left with leftovers, giving us an extra couple of days of sweet happiness. No complaints there. The space itself is expansive and airy. On a weekday afternoon it can feel a bit cold simply because there aren't many customers around, but it's still inviting, light, and modern, a bright place to sit and enjoy something decadent. Service could use a bit more polish and attentiveness, but the quality of the desserts keeps me loyal. And yes, I'll keep coming back... preferably with people who understand the sacred joy of an excellent sugar high.
