Beautiful views of the lake and sunrises right from the room. Even better views from the beach on premises. The rooms are very clean and the entire place is kept well. King size bed in our room. I am used to a full kitchens with Rci. The only thing that is provided is a mini fridge and a microwave. Not sure if the two bedrooms have a full kitchen. The outdoor hot tub is large enough for 16 people. Beautiful stonework around the hot tub and a great view of the lake. I suggest going in at night when you can see the stars. I didn't realize there was free continental breakfast served daily between 8 to 10. Lots of great choices from cold cereals to eggs. You can eat in the breakfast area, or take back to your room. Plates and utensils are provided. Many different kinds of drinks are available in the cooler. Other than the hot tub, there is a small workout room, sauna, and beach on premises. Each room has a coffee maker with coffee and tea provided. They also provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap. There is an ice machine downstairs for ice coffee or drinks. I would definitely recommend staying here. There are many more activities during the summer than winter. I basically used the week to relax. Overall great experience with Center Harbor Inn. Highly recommend.

She thought of every amenity possible to make this a luxurious experience. The house was beautifully decorated with many fine antiques...it was very cozy and extremely comfortable. We had a large suite in the 3 rd floor ( of course no elevator, but what would be the charm in that?). We had a peek a boo view of the lake across the street. The large soaking tub was a welcome relief for this weary traveler and she even provided bath salts and bubble bath. I felt like I was in heaven! I would definitely make this a get away if we didn't live 3000 miles away. Small caution on our room. I chose this place because it was the cheapest rate I could find for lodging in the area, having booked only a week out. I was pleased with what I got: a private little cabin with a bed, shower, toilet, mini-fridge, and even a nice ceiling fan (which I was told only 1 or two of the cabins actually had!) If you're uncomfortable in tight quarters, the cabins are probably not for you. Many of the cabins appeared to be very small. I stayed in Cabin 8, which is probably one of the smallest ones there. It didn't bother me though. It was perfect for one person. The bed was comfortable enough, but definitely nothing special. All the plumbing worked with no problems. The grounds appeared well maintained. Each cabin had a picnic table out front, and mine also had a small screened-in porch. I wasn't around for the bonfire, nor did I use any of the grills onsite. But I was invited to take advantage of these if I wished, which was nice. While I did not stay here for camping, I would definitely consider coming back up here for a weekend getaway.

The owner Norm keeps a large fire lit for all to enjoy at night. There are grills for cooking, lots of space for kickball, cornhole or other games. Each cabin is different with it's own rustic feel. All fully equipped with a bathroom, sink and shower. So, if you're looking for a family owned and operated cozy cabin, this is the place!

Give me your phone number and I will call you when I hear back". We checked after one hour and were told the same thing. When we approached a third time, the same person at the desk said: "I've been so busy, I didn't have time to call you". Many other people were arriving after 4PM and being told that their rooms were not ready yet. There is no staff on site at Bay Point to assist with any issues. The only permanent staff is over 1/4 mile away. We arrived at our room, and the refrigerator was not working properly and the safe was locked. We used the in-room phone to call three different departments that were direct-dial buttons on our phone. No answer. The front desk button was answered with "please hold", which I did for 10 minutes, finally hanging up. I dialed again and the same thing happened. This time I hung up after 5 minutes and then called the hotel using an outside line. That call was answered and within about 15 minutes, the maintenance person arrived. He was wonderful and very helpful. Other issues included that the latch to our hotel room door chain was missing, the battery in our keyless entry for the door died and we were locked out of our room at night, so we had to call the main building to get another service person to replace it (again, he was very nice). We paid $36 per day for a resort fee which really got you nothing other than use of the pool which again was over 1/4 mile away. There was a coffee machine in the lobby, but with no one on site to manage it, the coffee would be gone by 7:30 am. You had to call to get your room made up each day, but again there were issues with getting a phone call answered. We had to call housekeeping because the soap in the shower was empty. Again, the housekeeping person was very nice. Finally, if I had to do it all over again, I would stay at the main inn and never one of the three off-site locations. However, parking there is horrendous. We won't be back.

Outside and down below the balcony was the outdoor seating area of the cafe restaurant and the parking lot. It was too annoying to sit outside on the balcony with the kitchen smells and noises and loud conversations of patrons enjoying their meal. The lake view was half obstructed by a tree shading the patio of the restaurant below. When I tried to change from this unacceptable room to one that was more acceptable they left me waiting for about 45 mins with no call back. When I called back after that 45 mins, they still said they were trying to switch the room. At that point, I was tired of waiting and accepted the room. I would not recommend this hotel. There was no mention of some compensation for my extreme disappointment with the room or of perhaps another room tomorrow I would find acceptable. Again, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
