The outdoor pool looked really nice, although we didn't get a chance to use it. The indoor pool, however, was amazing--honestly one of the best hotel pools I've been in! They even provided pool noodles and toys, which was a really nice touch. The hot tub was awesome too, especially with the waterfall feature. Our room was comfortable and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable, and while I wish the pillows had been a little larger, they were still comfortable. The room also had a pull-out couch and a large TV. The bathroom was great, with a nice shower and wall-mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. One thing I loved was the air conditioner. The fan was nice and loud, which meant I didn't even need to use my white noise machine to sleep--I slept great! We didn't use the fitness room, so I can't comment on that. Breakfast was grab-and-go style with a nice selection including cereal, yogurt, breakfast sandwiches, and toast. We ended up going to the bagel shop across the street instead, but it looked like there were plenty of good options available at the hotel. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely stay here again. I do want to mention that upon arrival one of our party members said that one of our queen beds was slanted and on our last night she completely rolled out of the bed and hit her head on the nightstand! And around the same time our toilet stopped working in the middle of the night and wouldn't flush. We heard that other people also had a similar issue. Our curtains had moth holes in them. The clock was behind by eight minutes. And one final thing is that our air conditioner had mold on the vent which could potentially be dangerous. But overall, despite the bad things that happened, it wasn't a horrible experience. The rooms were clean upon arrival. The service was really good. And that's why I left a three star review. But still, I wouldn't return.

We stayed at Bay Point and the view from the room and porch were wonderful…read more Here is the bad: When we arrived to check in (over 1/4 mile from our hotel/ Bay Point), we were told that "it looks like your room is ready, but we can't reach housekeeping to confirm. Give me your phone number and I will call you when I hear back". We checked after one hour and were told the same thing. When we approached a third time, the same person at the desk said: "I've been so busy, I didn't have time to call you". Many other people were arriving after 4PM and being told that their rooms were not ready yet. There is no staff on site at Bay Point to assist with any issues. The only permanent staff is over 1/4 mile away. We arrived at our room, and the refrigerator was not working properly and the safe was locked. We used the in-room phone to call three different departments that were direct-dial buttons on our phone. No answer. The front desk button was answered with "please hold", which I did for 10 minutes, finally hanging up. I dialed again and the same thing happened. This time I hung up after 5 minutes and then called the hotel using an outside line. That call was answered and within about 15 minutes, the maintenance person arrived. He was wonderful and very helpful. Other issues included that the latch to our hotel room door chain was missing, the battery in our keyless entry for the door died and we were locked out of our room at night, so we had to call the main building to get another service person to replace it (again, he was very nice). We paid $36 per day for a resort fee which really got you nothing other than use of the pool which again was over 1/4 mile away. There was a coffee machine in the lobby, but with no one on site to manage it, the coffee would be gone by 7:30 am. You had to call to get your room made up each day, but again there were issues with getting a phone call answered. We had to call housekeeping because the soap in the shower was empty. Again, the housekeeping person was very nice. Finally, if I had to do it all over again, I would stay at the main inn and never one of the three off-site locations. However, parking there is horrendous. We won't be back.

Since i had some credit to be used for hotel stay we decided to get a scenic sweets with king bed which is best and most expensive room available at the Inn. When we got there no one was there and an envelope left with my name and instruction for parkings and room with a map. It was bit difficult to navigate since it was dark but we manage to find the parking and grabbed our stuff and went up to the room with our code. Room was spacious and cozy. Building seemed to be old but seemed to be renovated and bathroom was nice and clean. Once we got settled we start to notice bugs flying, stuck on furniture, by the window and on the ceiling. Since it's in the woods i understand if it's 1 or 2 but it was more like 10+. I had to get rid of them myself because no one was around and was bothering my partner since she was afraid of bugs. Managed to somehow sleep through the night despite noise of annoying heater and bugs flying against the window and curtains. Next day, We woke up early to leave for hiking for the day. I left a message on the number they had for service to informed the management of the situation and to have them resolve it during the day as we would be out for the day. We spent most of the day out and we returned hoping that situation has resolved. Unfortunately within few minutes of arriving i once again noticed bugs flying and had to deal with them myself because place becomes empty at 8:00pm and does not have front desk or personal after 8:00pm which is odd for a hotel. We were too tired to deal with the issue so we just left for bed. Next day when we checked out I was going to talk to the staff but they are always in and out and office was open but no one was there so I decided to send message again to the text asking for them to fix the problem for next customer and request some kind of compensation for dealing with this issue and not having it resolved during our stay. Unfortunately they declined refund or any form of compensation. With the experience we had and the poor customer service I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Other reviews seemed to indicate decline in service after change in management which may be the reason. I did want to like the place and i did give a fair chance but i will not be returning here.

Kevin and Jen no longer own the Inn. The owner is never present and they don't serve breakfast anymore. It's grab and go, choice of 2 pastries an apple and coffee/tea. The staff was very nice and no issues there. At night it turns out there is no staff there. They rotate a staff member between 3 properties every few hours until 11:00. Also, we were on a 40th anniversary 3 week road trip and this is the only place we stayed that didn't even acknowledge it was our anniversary.The restaurant is still very good and the rooms are nice and we always stay in the suite with a beautiful view. My wife and I feel this Inn has lost its "heart" since Kevin and Jen sold it

We loved the location so close to the boardwalk and beach, beautiful and quiet in the morning for my running pleasure, then nice and happening once the family woke up and we went back down. Reasonable rates. We would stay again. Loved relaxing on the porch at night reading stories to our kids. Super cute, they loved playing out on the lawn as well.

Even if the strangers are quite lovely. The second thing was we overlapped with two family reunions. Both families very nice, but within the pavilion is not just the fireplace and grills, but a bar. As a person in recovery, being this close to constant drinking was uncomfortable and had I known about it I would have skipped it. The owners also let their dog roam around, so be aware if any of your party has a fear of dogs. The only place to swim involves you jumping off the dock into area deep enough for boats to dock, so we had to find state parks each day. The beds were comfortable. The view was nice. It wasn't enough to keep us there for the duration of our vacation.

The view is great, the staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean. The rooms are not luxurious and are as nice as a well kept national motel chain room. No coffee maker or fridge in the room. The price is reasonable and is about half of what I just paid to get a room in Boston. Some of the best times we had were at night when it gets cool enough to sit around the large fireplace under the gazebo. Very nice. We also rented a boat for some water sport and docked at Wolfeboro for lunch. Five stars for the location and beauty of this family run business.
