Farm to Coast Mobile Kitchen - Steamed Buns

Was excited to find the Farm To Coast food truck recently because I had heard they had a vegan tofu…read morebánh mì (which is my favorite sandwich these days). I ordered two and, while my partner in crime absolutely LOVED his, I wasn't really a fan. The sandwich comes on a baguette and is filled with a slab of coconut curry marinated tofu, pickled veg (like carrots and radishes), spicy vegan mayo, and cilantro. Unfortunately, my bread was pretty burned - as such, that black toast char was the dominating flavor (and smell). It was also the dominating ingredient as the slab of tofu was much smaller than I was expecting. In the end, I tossed the bread and ate just the tofu and veggies (which, again, I wish there had been more of, and much less of the stems of cilantro). Loved the variety of spices that came from the individual components of the jalapenos, the curry, and the spread though! While I was disappointed in the sandwich I got (especially at $11 when compared to sandwiches of similar prices from other food trucks), I still think they're great. The person taking my order was super friendly, the person making the food was engaging, and their passion to use as much fresh, local ingredients as possible is impressive and appreciated. Also the presentation of their food is stunning, and proves that restaurant quality food can come out of a mobile kitchen. While they might not be my first choice, I definitely appreciate what they're creating and the flavor profiles they're exploring!

Wow! Literally no complaints or constructive criticism for this food truck. The food was cooked…read morequickly, the customer service was friendly, and portion sizes were generous. I got a Pork Belly Bahn Mi and a fry. When I dropped $17 for lunch I THOUGHT that was a lot until they handed me two large boats full of food that I couldn't finish! The sandwich was fresh and juicy. The fries were perfectly crisp and seasoned. I was able to share the fries with 2 other coworkers! It's not often that I walk away from a food truck thinking portion sizes align with both the quality and the pricing, but this one nails it. The menu isn't large, but that's because they choose to perfect what they are slinging, putting quality over quantity. Definitely give this place a try... and split the fries!

I stopped in after searching for Hop Water and saw on the Hop Water website the Good Life Market sold it. I arrived about a half hour before close so I was one of few customers and ended up buying a ton and wanting more. First, I found a 4 pack of beer that had JUST been released in Burlington VT and then Portland ME (collaboration beer) and immediately grabbed it. Absolute score! I was super impressed with the beer selection, both refrigeratorated and on the shelf, plus N/A options, hop waters, mixers, you name it. Before I even made it to the beer section I was drawn to the prepared food because I was hungry and knew I would have to prepare something when I got home. I got smoked ribs (probably a half rack) for $11.99, Cole slaw and a broccoli bacon salad. They had multiple refrigerators and freezers with everything you can imagine, frozen Slab pizza, health drinks, locals meats, local ice cream, etc. I noticed a huge wall of local coffee so I will be going back to hopefully find espresso beans, which are challenging to come by. I didn't notice inside seats but that would be a good addition. For the ribs, I wrapped them in foil and baked at 350 for 20-30 minutes. I was so happy to find real food, prepped for easy reheating. I will definitely be back with my husband to order sandwiches and pick up more goodies.

Employees here are always friendly. Their food is always well-made and is of excellent quality. Prices are a bit on the high end hence the 4 stars. Pictured here is their Hometown Chef Salad and The Good Life Club. My stepson and I ended up sharing as the portions are huge. We even got 3 servings out of the salad. These two items are highly recommended. This market also has some fresh produce, several cheese options, interesting snacks and pantry items. Stop by and support local whenever you can!
