He did the surgery on my left knee. And it had to have a screw put in, also. I saw him today for my 4 week checkup, it was all smiles and laughs. Oh what a wonderful feeling to know that your x-rays show that your implant is fine! And you're healing, progressing ahead of schedule. I know this is because of prayer! He said that the I could have surgery on my right knee as soon as a couple weeks. I know God uses doctors to heal. This man is amazing! I couldn't help but tell him " I love you" before I left. I'm…read morevery specific when I give my insurances on how they were billed etc. On July 14, 2023 and again on July 24,2023 I stopped into their billing office and told them if they billed correctly I should not receive a bill because Tricare for Life is a wrap around for Medicare and whatever Medicare doesn't cover Tricare for Life covers 100%. When Tricare for Life is billed either correctly or incorrectly I get notified staying they covered xyz amount or they state due to x probably they didn't pay and I'm not responsible for the bill because of their error. ortho one states I owe $283.61 and never billed Tricare for Life and since we're now rolling into 3 years after the fact----Tricare for Life will probably tell them to go kick rocks. I have NEVER received any correspondence about this from Tricare for Life which means they didn't bill. What's sad is these places are notorious for partial billing and sticking the patient with what's left over-----why accept $75 from Tricare when I can bill the patient for a higher amount of $284.61 I've explained it to them repeatedly and yet they still have not billed Tricare for life and yes they accept Tricare for life. Sad really. I currently have a text stating I owe $284.61 and it's their error not mine

He has been diagnosed and treated for everything from sinusitis, flue, sinus infection, Covid, fatty liver disease and a severe meniscus tear (which required surgery). Last week I took my husband there for severe lower abdomen pain and they immediately said he needed to go to a hospital and called an ambulance for him. They were taking him to Riverside, but Riverside had no availability, so he was being transported to Dublin Methodist. The front desk gal was so nice to call me and inform me of the location change. My husband ends up needing Emergency surgery! While he was still in recovery the doctor from Scioto Urgent Care called to see how he was doing and what the diagnosis was! You CAN"T get customer service like that from a large hospital and I highly recommend this location for any ailment you have -- They truly care and are excellent health care professionals who are exceptional in the field!!

They finally looked it up and then realized they were wrong. Imagine that! Told me the 3rd time that they wouldn't give me any more meds even though the condition is life threatening for me and they didn't give me enough to take care of the issue the first two times. Told me just to apply cream even though I said the cream doesn't work for me. They said, "yes it does." The arrogance to ignore your patients when no 2 people are the same. Playing with people's lives. The entire situation could have been avoided if they would have just listened to me the first time and given me a couple more days' worth. The surgery itself was only 30 minutes but he spent more time getting ready for the surgery and then post surgery in recovery. I left for 1 and half and came back right on time to the visitor area where we got a call from the doctor and then the nurse on instructions for discharge. Nurse Tammy was ready for discharge as you can imagine. My daughter not so much. I explained the process of discharge to my daughter and calmed her body and mind down. We waited a bit and the nurse cane out with after care instructions. Then we drove around and picked my husband up at the discharge area in the back. Easy peasy for a simple surgery. That's how I like it. I will keep this place in mind for future outpatient surgeries.

It's been 5+ years since my first review here and goodness, a lot has changed since then. So much…read moreso, that it's time for an update. The biggest change is that it has gone through a total renovation on the inside. The check in area is right up front and it's large and spacious. The main floor looks almost the same, with the small cafe area also getting a face lift. I think the thing I noticed the most is that the stairs are gone from the center of the lobby. Now the main way to get to the second floor is the elevator. This definitely opened up the space. As for offices and different departments, the only ones I've been in since the change are urgent care and physical therapy. The urgent care is now on the first floor and when I had to go a few months ago, I was able to quickly book an appointment online for later that day. I had zero wait time and no problems at all. As for the PT area, it looks completely different, and in a good way. The service I've received has stayed the same, really great overall. I'll definitely continue to come here when needed.

This was the first time I have used this location for labs, but it was an option and wanted to go here based on location. I also use this location for Gastroenterology. They have a great department and my doctor works out of the Medical Plaza as well. I have consistently had good visits there too. For the lab work, upon arrival at the plaza the parking is still a bit of a mess due to construction. I would recommend allowing a little extra time to be on the safe side. It was busy when I walked in the tower there was a line at registration of about 7 people in front of me and more arrived after. The line moved as quickly as possible but there was only one employee at that front entrance. She worked to get us all checked in and I think it was just a 9 am rush. After check in and registration, I was directed around to the other side for the lab work. It was on the ground floor and that part of the lobby/waiting room was packed. I had an appointment and waited about 20 minutes past my appointment time or so. I did notice, they do offer walk-in lab hours but would recommend an appointment here if possible. Once my name was called, I was escorted back and the nurse verified my identity and did her job. She was great and was very personable which was nice after the wait. Overall, a good visit and friendly employees and nurses that I spoke with. I will definitely be back as they offer a lot of services and departments here at the Medical Plaza.

Billed in 15 min increments, you pay for exactly what you get. Tests and materials are only slightly above cost. If you don't have insurance, or ghastly insurance with high deductibles, this is the way to go. I can meet with the nurse practitioner for 30 min and pay $60 when my old insurance had bumped the copay cost of a regular office visit to any dr to $80 JUST TO WALK IN THE DOOR. Other medical places charge you in tiers --- you will never be able to get out the door for anything resembling a reasonable rate. And, if you need to submit to your deductible, yes, you do it yourself, but they have a printout and all the paperwork done. You just drop it in the mail. The real beauty? You only tell your story one time, to the person who sees you... each and every time. I bet this was what it was like in the "olden days" to have a true family doctor that knew *you* and your history. Aces all around. Easy on the pocket book.

Dr. Thomas is exceptionally knowledgeable and an expert in his field. He clearly explained my issues and all available options. I have already undergone two complex surgeries with him and have another scheduled for July. Unlike many orthopedic experiences where long wait times are the norm, my experience here has been excellent. I have had post-operative appointments every two to three weeks since January, and I have only experienced one delay out of approximately twelve visits. Despite his busy schedule, Dr. Thomas never rushes my appointments and ensures all my questions and concerns are addressed. I also want to commend the office staff; This is a very busy office, everyone is professional and incredibly helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this practice.
