This place can be easily missed at the shopping center. This is mostly a sit down restaurant but I'm ordering to go. There are a lot of seats and there's an area for group/event seating. I never had the chicken sagg and ordered that because it has spinach. The worker said you can request the spice level up to 10 and I got a 5. The chicken saag did not have much flavor but the dumplings were perfectly flavored. I'd come back to try other dishes. There's ample parking.

Mount Everest Restaurant absolutely delivered. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and a couple of Diet Cokes, $25ish. Everything was incredible. The tikka masala was rich, and packed with flavor. The garlic naan was fresh, soft, and perfect. It one of these restaurants where at first, you're questioning if it's going to be good and then you take a bite and you're like.... where. the. heck. am. I...... It may not have the aesthetics of a Michelin-star restaurant, but the food is there. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Restaurant was spotless. I don't write reviews, but MER deserves as award. If you're looking for OUTSTANDING Indian food without the pretentious vibe, this is your spot. I'll be back.

They have one of the best Nepalese appetizers. The size and freshness of both chili garlic momo and chicken steam momo were just amazing, but i would not order the goat bhutuwa again. Food wise it is solid 4 and half but with the warm and attentive service i could not stop myself giving them 5 star. we will definitely come back again.

I've been going here for years and the food has has been consistently good. We had been doing takeout during the pandemic so I forgot how even more delicious it is when you eat it fresh right in the restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My family loves it and Mount Everest will continue to be a go to restaurant for our household.

Just yes . Yes. - come here and experience the flavors they can provide. The other reviews noting the flavor do not lie Service was a bit slow when I went however this is forgiven as they had a large 20+ party taking half the venue. If service speed is a concern - pick up and it'll be fine. Ambiance is a mix of fine(r) dining and for sake of continence. I love the Nepali / Indian decor and style from the walls down to the dishes used. The wipe away clean table cloth brings the overall ambiance a bit down but not a big deal!

I'm a sucker for a great chandelier... pick up your takeout in the back left corner

Mount Everest holds a special place in my heart. Almost 10 years ago, I met my boyfriend on a dating site. We had our first date at Mount Everest. Neither of us had ever tasted Indian food before this meal. We cannot remember what we ate, but we have spent our relationship trying all kinds of Indian restaurants to find our favorite one, and we always come back to Mount Everest. We celebrated our last anniversary there, this past February, introducing a friend to her first Indian food experience. Mount Everest isn't exactly conveniently located to Dundalk, so we plan on eating there whenever I have a doctor's appointment over in the White Marsh area. We stopped by for take-out after a particularly frustrating eye doctor's appointment, as a reward. We have a menu where we keep track of what we have previously ordered. Top rated: Chicken Korma ($14.99): Tender pieces of chicken cooked in a creamy sauce with cardamom, topped with dried fruits and nuts Chicken Junelly ($13.99): Chicken cubes cooked with vegetable in Himalayan creamy sauce Chicken Hyderabadi ($14.99): A classic hyderabadi style chicken cooked with coconut, curry leaves in a blend of herbs & spices. This time around we had: Pepper Chicken ($14.99): Chicken cooked with green peppers, cracked peppers & chili flakes in south Indian style. --- Good, but we wouldn't get it again. Lamb Chops ($28.99): Rack of lamb marinated in fresh ground spices & herbs, cooked in the tandoori oven. --- As with lamb chops, they're expensive and you always wish you got more. Tasty, but for the price we can get two different meals next time. The rice that comes with your meals is top notch. So fluffy and lovely, lightly seasoned. And it reheats well! We've tried at least 10+ other menu items, but I won't bore you with all that. Appetizers here can be pretty miss, and the naan is fine (though all of them taste the same, no matter what filling you order), and the mango lassi is delicious (and easy to make at home!). The restaurant is usually empty, but don't let that fool you about the quality of the food. Service is friendly, helpful, and prompt. After ten years of eating here, I whole-heartedly RECOMMEND.

    Veggie mix, delicious.

Service is friendly and helpful. Food is served hot and delicious. Always enjoy my meals in house or take out.

~ Order Deliver service recently and wanted to try something new. Tried the Chicken tandoori (spicy) & the Chicken vindaloo (spicy). With the chicken tandoori, I was surprised they gave me that much chicken. I was able to save some for the next day. Good taste, just wish it was a little moister. Other than that ..! I'm cool with the results. I've ordered the chicken vindaloo from this place before. Which is the reason why I got it again.... As a backup. Just order extra potatoes, cause they are playing games trying to hide 5 lil potatoes in all that sauce. Garlic naan bread was cool. Of course, something like this is better if you eating it as soon as it's cooked. But, good meal. Solid place. 3.5 stars. I think I spent $40.00 or so. Hope you enjoy.. ~ #TeamDiesel #TeamDiesel4Evaaa

The restaurant has nice decor and a promising selection of menu items, but the execution of the traditional dishes fell short of my expectations. The Highlights: Timmur Chicken Wings: Absolutely amazing. The flavor profile was excellent and easily the best part of the meal. The Disappointments: Thukpa: I have very fond memories of this dish, but this version was highly disappointing. They altered standard ingredients and added fish oil, which is definitely not characteristic of traditional Nepali Thukpa. Momo: While the dumplings themselves were okay, they were let down by the sauce. What makes a Nepali momo superior is the specific, vibrant momo sauce (achar), but the sauce served here looked and tasted like a generic, store-bought version. Overall Verdict:While the menu features an appealing variety, the execution misses the mark on authentic Nepali cuisine. It has great potential, but they need to stick to their authentic basics.

Im not a buffet kind of person but I have taken part in this buffet previously when the doors open as I can see patrons visiting such. This has been my favorite AUTHENTIC HALAL Indian restaurant. Unfortunate for me its across town and with traffic could be almost 2 hour travel round trip. I ordered the tandoori chicken (mild) with spinach and an order of the vegetable samosas. While waiting I spoke about the items on the buffet menu to someone I was speaking with and to my surprise I was given a bowl of curry chickpea (I enjoyed in the past). The service and attentiveness has always been great. Today was no different. During my wait for my order to be prepared I was offered a beverage and my selection was cold water. My order came out within reasonable time and hot. The vegetable samosas did not stand a chance once I got into the car. They were with thw right crisp, authentic spices and mix of tasty potatoes and peas dipped into the "green" sauce. I then indulged in the curry chickpeas and as one could imagine they didnt stand a chance beyond the car. Most delish. Once I got home, my tandoori chicken after travelling in the mad ttaffic across town; food was still hot. The portion size is always enough for 2 meals for me. I plated my meal on to anotger plate and enjoyed every bite of the authentic dish with juicy tender grilled chicken and fresh sliced cucumbers, onions and carrots. Over rice. Prices, like everywhere else, has taken a hike. I use to pay $16-$18 for the tandoori meal and its $22 now. The samosas use to be $5 and I think they are $7. I knew in the past the lamb meal took a drastic jump increase in price and that strayed me from purchasing but the portions of would can be justified for some of the cost. I dont remember a bad experiece here. I definitely will continue visiting this establishment for my Indian cuisine fix.
