My conclusion is if your looking for real help from start to finish do not choose this location. It's all about what they can add to the bill.

Dr…read moreBroadwell has retired within the past year, so the practice has transitioned to Advanced Dentistry with Dr Schmidt. My 1st encounter with Dr Schmidt was for a tooth repair which to me is the telltale for whether I can tolerate a particular dentist or not (I.E. if the dentist does not torture me during a tooth repair I can handle any procedures less painful than that!). Surprisingly (only surprising because I despise dentists and had gotten so used to my previous dentist), my tooth repair with Dr Schmidt went smoothly with minimal discomfort (mostly mental discomfort from being at the dentist). Aside from that it seems that most of the dental techs/assistants are the same from the previous practice. Staff are all highly skilled. They are all always nice, professional and efficient. Most importantly, they listen to your concerns/request (for example, I have high sensitivity with my teeth and upon request they always take extra care to avoid causing unnecessary pain). Location is convenient as it is situated in a fairly quiet area (Concord Lake Academy next door so area may be a little busier during school start/end times). I would recommend this practice.

What were we doing for 2 years? Well, let me preface this by saying that I have a very stressful job/life which manifests itself in me grinding my teeth to nubs. (When my bottom teeth were done and placed in my mouth I complained to Dr. Current saying that I had horse teeth. He then explained that my bottom teeth were the perfect size and I had ground nubs for so long I had no idea what a tooth should look like) Since I was not going to stop grinding, Dr. Current was tasked with putting teeth in my mouth that (1) did not come out of my mouth and put in a glass every night. I am too vain for that. (2) making teeth for the implants Dr. Nasson put in (another review) that would withstand the force of my grind and (3) make sure they didn't fall out. Yes, I cannot tell you how many times I have spit my teeth into my hands. I acknowledge that I was not always the most pleasant human being to work with and I was stubborn about what I wanted. I learned the difference between "want" and "need". Dr. Current did not want me to need him as much as I would have had I not listened to him. He also refused to do that which would not work just because I said so. He won and I have teeth that do not fall out; are the right size and work. I can actually chew. I had just gotten them all in and went on a cruise. First meal I picked up the crustiest bread you ever saw and found that I was afraid to bite into it. I texted Dr. Current and told him about my fear that they would break. He laughed and said "Please take them out for a spin. Chew! I did and have been chewing every since. I could write for days about this journey. I would post a picture so you could see my teeth but the reality is I do not know how to smile with my teeth showing. I was always self conscious about them. When I try to smile to show off my teeth, I look a tad deranged and possibly feral. None of which was adhered to when we arrived. Dr. Laetitia Sery, did more to scare my grandson than make him feel relaxed for a dental procedure. Her website states that she loves working with children and their families. If this is true it was not on display during our visit. I do not recommend taken young children here.
