Went to mount Palomar on a Wednesday afternoon, arrived around 1:30 and it was super quiet! Had lunch, then did a tasting. All of the staff was extremely friendly!! I had read prior to coming it was dog friendly outdoors but the staff here said my dog could go anywhere! It was 90 outside and was great to have the dog inside the tasting room with us! Great property and great wine as well!

It was a sunny Saturday afternoon in January, and I decided to see what Mount Palomar had to offer, as I was seeking a new place to become a member. Somewhat of a different vibe, with regards to my preferred atmosphere when it comes to wineries. I am there for the wine, and the atmosphere is either a positive or negative impact on my enjoyment based upon how much the wine is neglected, and the entertainment and vibe is in the forefront. Dancing , loud never-ending music, and patrons screaming at the top of their lungs is interfering with the enjoyment of the grape product. The wine was mediocre in comparison to the expansive and visually appealing property.

second time here for car events and it was fun both times. I would like to come back for a regular wine tasting though. the wine i had was not bad. I would definitely come back.

Mt Palomar had a Groupon, and I decided to take my BF since he went there when he was 21! The winery is far back from the road, so you could drive right by and completely miss it. There is a large courtyard with greek statues and flowers, like your on Mt Olympus. We were hungry and wanted to eat, but the restaurant was closed, they gave us a coupon for a free appetizer, for consolation. We highly recommend the port and Romantica sparkling!

What a lovely afternoon, we tasted some beautiful white and reds and the sparkling was delicious! The staff is attentive and informative and decanted a wonderful bottle of Merlot. A Fun day with a good friend and delicious wine.

My husband brought me wine tasting here. I didn't realize it was his first time. The restroom was clean and well stocked. The band, Ascentials, was great! Definitely contributed to the good vibes. Free parking. Dog friendly. Everyone on staff is super friendly. Had a blast. Would return. We only took advantage of 3/5 tastings since we're not big drinkers. That was plenty for us.

I loved the food and wine here! Everything was so flavorful. The service was kind of confusing if you didn't tell them it was your first time. There are a lot of people and it's open seating so if it's busy, it's hard to find a nice spot.

Absolutely loved the boss working! She was top tier, and hilarious! Love love love this wine, and the scenery. It's so beautiful here!

We had a very nice experience at this winery, Brian took great care of us. Unfortunately the wines were way too sweet. We like a more crisp, deep wine and these were very sweet, but the winery itself is gorgeous. The property is so beautiful.

The wine tender was amazing. He was extremely busy but still took the time to make us feel welcomed. Once things slowed down he came over and spent time with us and gave us a brief rundown of what to pair with and what he enjoyed. The property was well maintained and the vibe was extremely chill.

As much as I would've loved to give this place a 5-star review, the experience fell a bit short. The ambiance was great thanks to the live music we visited around 2pm on a busy Saturday, which added to the lively atmosphere. However, for a wine tasting experience, it felt very crowded and rushed. There wasn't a dedicated person explaining the wines, so it was more of a quick pour and move along situation. We didn't learn much about what we were tasting and were left feeling a bit unsure about where to go next, as there wasn't much direction. That said, the wine itself was amazing--truly the highlight of the visit and absolutely delicious.

Pretty quaint spot suited for large groups. I would definitely recommend this spot if you're looking to grab a bite, enjoy some music and of course, drink some wine. The price of food was above average and wine was decent. Poke nachos and calamari were great apps. Portionly it was okay, but i'd like to see more. I like this location, because of the shaded tables. The dj was playing a random mix of music, which was cool. Servers were tentative and friendly. Plenty of parking as well! Did I also mention it was dog friendly? bring your dog if you can!

First and foremost, I will NEVER be visiting this winery EVER again. To anyone that reads this…read morereview, YOU ARE WARNED you will be subjected to the worst experience and customer service that you will probably have to ever endure. My Wife and I are appalled over what happened. To the Business Owner, Cane V., you need to train your employees, the faces of YOUR everyday business, to be more EMOTIONALLY INTUITIVE and PROFESSIONAL and have GENERAL MATURITY. Where do I start? If you are looking for a winery that has an unprofessional, rowdy brewery atmosphere that attracts Entitled Stank Faced Boomer Temecula Wine Moms and their Snobby Little Cliques LOOK NO FURTHER, THIS IS YOUR PLACE. Our Experience: my Wife and I came over to sample some wines from this winery that was recommended from a friend. On the Winery Website, you can do 2 different types of wine tastings: Classic Tastings of 6 wines of your choice or a Private Wine Tasting of 8 different ones for a higher price. This is what initially attracted my Wife and I to this winery in the first place (big mistake on our end). Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that wine tasting is no longer being offered at all. The incompetent red haired bartender at the front entrance provided us with no other alternative other than "Yea we don't offer that anymore, you can do by the glass or by the bottle." Her tone changed completely when I asked her about the Club they advertise everywhere. She then tells us that they are booked for the day, however the BAR and LAWN area are open seating, after 8PM everything is open seating. It was 6:30/7PM so we decided by that point, we'll wait for a spot to open up and enjoy some wine then in the meantime. We figured, it's just the 2 of us so we should have luck finding a spot. At the bar area, I noticed that 3 seats were left unattended. The people there got up and left, no drinks were left behind or any "Reservation" placards were placed to notify people. I walk over, sit down and wave to my Wife to come and sit at the bar area. We sat down, sipped some of our wine for 10-15 minutes. Bar had 2 people working, a gentleman and heavier set Blonde lady. Both of them never said anything and nothing was ever exchanged between us and the heavier set Blond lady. I was even thinking about buying a beer or cocktail and thankfully I didn't. Shortly after this time, an EXTREMELY RUDE, ENTITLED, and VISIBLY DRUNK lady and her husband RUDLY went in between my Wife and I and COMMANDED we leave her spots. My Wife and I laughed at her and were genuinely confused because the BAR IS OPEN SEATING, THERE ARE NO RESERVATIONS FOR OPEN SEATING. She then gets even more angry and DEMANDS we leave or else, says to my Wife and I "YOU're GOING TO LEAVE NOW," I tell the lady to kick rocks, it's open seating then she enters the bar area to talk to the heavier set Blond bar tender that we wont move. The Blond bar tender THEN has the AUDACITY to tell us "They have been sitting here all night, YOU TWO need to leave immediately." My Wife and I look at each other and absolutely laugh it off at the sheer absurdity of everyone's tone towards us. Who do you think you are to blatantly kick us out ON OPEN SEATING? Either you are severely undertrained from the Owner or you as a staff member play favorites with other entitled customers. Both of which are absolutely absurd. Upon this interaction, my Wife and I leave and go right down the street to Europa Winery and sampled several wines and had a $250 dinner at Bolero. Here, the experience was a complete 180° and we should've never wasted our time at Miramonte Winery being subjected to the nastiness from the Temecula Trash. If you are a large party, or wanting to host private events, I STRONGLY recommend ANYWHERE else besides Miramonte Winery. The Staff here is atrocious, rude, immature and ugly. I pride myself in never leaving nasty reviews but this experience changed everything moving forward.

If you're looking for a hidden gem, this is it! It's all in the details; the cobblestone exterior, the paved paths, the scenic view, how the sun peaks through the trees, just wow! They had multiple options of wine tasting; you can pick from a mixed white and red wine tasting, or a full red, or white tasting. You can also order a bottle or glass by itself if you don't want the full tasting. As a gal who doesn't dabble in the fine art of tasting wine or drinking alcohol, they also had a couple delicious sparkling fruit drink options for me and a couple of other gals in my party, which was sweet, and delicious. The gals said they absolutely loved the Riesling white wine and it was perfectly sweet. I was able to book the whole experience and the table seating online on their website, and the whole process was easy. They email you a confirmation right away and all we did was show up. Upon checking in, we just informed one of the team members we have arrived and they let us pick our table outside. The reservation did note there would be a tour of some sort first, but that wasn't offered upon our arrival but that's okay! It is a bit hard to get ahold of someone on the phone, but I had a great experience speaking to their AI on the telephone and didn't notice until a minute into the phone call that they are AI. Talk about technology over here, woo! The AI was able to answer all my questions around where to park, are there signs directing us to the winery, if our party can have both wine-drinkers and non-drinkers, they answered it all and was spot on. Their winery also offers a fun shopping experience inside and put out these cottage-core long dresses and lacey tops you can try on and purchase. It looked like it was personally curated and it definitely had my gals and I hooked from the start. The only thing is that there is only 1 changing room, that is also the bathroom, so the line was always long and you would feel bad for taking too much time in there if you want to try things on. The team here made sure we were comfortable and even helped us take photos, and treated us very well for our first visit. All of us had a great time and left with a bottles of wine to take home!

As for the wine, we found it not very palatable, especially in comparison to Bolero next door, which offered a much more enjoyable overall experience. While Callaway has the advantage of a gorgeous view, the quality of the wine and the hospitality simply did not measure up for us.
