All of a sudden there was a $90 Service Fee! After much texting back and forth it was mostly for tips. So I asked "does this mean we are not expected to tip our guides?" She said, that the guides only get $2-4 of that. The rest goes to other locations. What other locations?? I'm tipping people that I never even see or deal with?? WHY isn't that cost shared UPFRONT? Just show some honesty please.

In my former triathlon life I could have done it but electric assist is more appropriate, especially in 45° weather. So I called after they closed but the owner picked up and helped me reserve 2 beach cruiser type bikes for the next morning. We were staying at Buffalo Lodge which is an affiliate so he bought the bikes to us. That was super convenient so we could leave our car at the lodge. We had a thorough instruction course and test ride and off we went. The bikes were well maintained and had good power. Comfortable and operated nicely. 2 hour rental was sufficient to see everything, explore a little and take lots of photos. There was a bag on the bike large enough to hold a jacket, snacks, lock, and the complimentary water. We were instructed to leave the bikes locked at our lodge and give the key to the front desk. Easy from start to end. Highly recommend.

When I got home and attempted to remount the wheel, it would not align to slide into slots. The hub had obviously been reassembled wrongly and was out of alignment for rims to brakes and for hub assembly to slots in stays. So, my confidence in Pro Cycling being damaged, I took the wheel to another shop for correct reassembly. I feel there was poor quality control confirmation for the work at Pro Cycling.

This is a tight alley way, with no real thru traffic. A man knocks on my window. As a woman with an infant in the car I think it's standard to not roll down the window. Apparently I had nearly hit this biker when I moved around the car. I admit I have a sunshade on my child's window and did not see that this almost happened. My husband rides a bike to and from work in Trinidad 8 miles a day- I absolutely care about biker safety. I would have apologized profusely, and still feel awful for my part in this, had you not been aggressive and explained I almost hit you. I would have even understood frustration because that's scary. However- BEATING on a woman's window, and calling her expletives making her feel threatened is NOT the way to go about literally anything. Can't think of one thing that warrants that behavior. Ever. No matter how mad you are. My 2 year old profoundly autistic son was in the back directly next to the window you punched on, and he still has not calmed down almost half an hour after the incident because he is terrified. To the individual : Do better, seriously. Maybe get some anger management cause what the actual heck man. I watched you unlock the store so I know you're there in some capacity. Almost hitting a biker on my part very not okay- but what you did? Worse. Traumatized my kid over something that almost happened- and didn't. Couldn't have been going more than 1 mile per hour. We rode in a six-seater UTV and had some of the best views I've ever seen, including incredible sights of Pikes Peak. Being out there really puts things into perspective. It was sad to see parts of the forest still recovering from a human-caused fire that happened years ago, but it also made the experience more meaningful to witness the resilience of nature firsthand. I had an amazing time--truly one of those experiences you don't forget. I would 100% do this again. Next time, though, I'd probably book it in the summer because it was pretty cold and my feet were frozen . Totally worth it, though!
