If you're a Pittsburgh Steelers fan living in Las Vegas, congratulations... you've found your happy place. If you're not a Steelers fan, don't worry--they'll still feed you. Frankie's Uptown is known as a Steelers gathering spot, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd hope for: energetic, welcoming, and a great place to catch a game. I ordered the stromboli, and I'm convinced it turned my entire day around. I walked in hungry and left wondering if I should cancel my dinner plans for the rest of the week because nothing was going to top it. Our server was the perfect combination of sweet and sassy--quick with a smile, quick with a comeback, and she made our table of six feel like regulars. Great service can make a meal memorable, and she absolutely did. Speaking of our group... all six of us left happy, which may be the restaurant equivalent of witnessing a solar eclipse. Getting six people to agree on anything is a miracle, but Frankie's pulled it off. Whether you're there to cheer on the Steelers, enjoy a great meal, or just spend time with friends, Frankie's Uptown delivers on all three. We were looking for a chill spot with good burgers, and Frankie's Uptown did not disappoint. I ordered the smash burger with an Impossible patty, and wow, it was delicious. I would honestly come back just for that burger alone. So flavorful and cooked perfectly. I also tried the fish and chips. It was okay, but the fish portion was huge, so definitely no complaints there. The service was great, and the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. Went to Frankie's specifically to watch the Vegas Golden Knights playoff game. The food was excellent and the initial service was quick and attentive. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined mid-game. A couple (at a table) asked to watch an NBA game, and management instructed the bartender to switch two of the three TVs away from the Knights playoff game. The bartender actually pushed back, but the manager overruled them. We had been at the bar an hour before puck drop, yet management still chose to accommodate one two-top over NHL fans. If you're a Vegas sports fan wanting to watch your team, especially during playoff, I cannot recommend Frankie's. Management clearly prioritizes random walk-ins over supporting the home team and their regular customers. read more

Service was beyond excellent, seating was fast (we had a reservation for our party of 4), ambiance was casual pub scene, and the NBA playoffs were up on all the bar tvs. We arrive at happy hour and ordered the bacon wrapped jalapeños (8/10 good but could be better), the brussel sprouts (10/10 but would prefer no croutons), the buffalo cauliflower (3/10 hugely over battered, almost no flavor), wedge salad (10/10 delicious). Tons of seating here between the main dining area and the bar. Full bar options and yes, they have TVs for sports games. One thing of note... (To the front of the house manager) This place does an excellent job of clearing the tables and not leaving dirty dishes sitting in front of you, which I love. Nothing worse than being brought food and your table still has a ton of ahishes on it. Highly recommend this place if you're on this side of town, or if you're headed to the ball park. Frankie's is located in downtown Summerlin which is so convenient if you're staying at Red Rock Resort and in need of non-resort dining options. We ordered some snacks and beer: -the clean green salad ($12): chopped lettuce blend, grape tomatoes, cucumbers & thinly sliced red onion with the house vinaigrette -a couple a meatballs ($12): two homemade meatballs + marinara, whipped seasoned ricotta & garlic toast -pepperoni cheese sticks (?) Honestly, this was the perfect snack combo - it was crunchy, savory and the clean green salad really balanced everything out. It was just the right amount of food to hold us over to dinner. Service was fast and friendly. There are plenty of TVs for sports and the bar menu looks great. If I was a local, I'd definitely frequent Frankie's. read more

Tried this place oubecause of run club and I couldn't be happier I did. The service is amazing, made sure we were taken care of and warm even though we were outside, split checks without being asked and gave us great recommendations! Food was also amazing, the Pizza Burger Sub is going to be moving off the menu soon but still avaible #iykyk but it was really good. Fries were also done really well. Green Tea Old Fashioned caught my eye and I'm glad it did, they have a ton of unique flavors for their cocktails because they infused flavors with their syrups which stood out to me because they're doing some unique things here! Located in downtown summerlin, we had a great time visiting this bar after an Aviators game. We actually found out about this bar because the aviators game announced that if you showed your ticket here you'd get a free draft beer, so we came in to check that out. Cool deal and way to introduce us to a new place! The bar was very nice on the inside, hostess greeted us promptly, and service was friendly. It was definitely a bustling location with lots going on. Nice indoor and patio area. The cocktail menu was fun and had some unique things on it. I came here before a game and I was disappointed. Of course everyone and their mom came here before the aviators game. I met with another couple to grab a bite to eat because I didn't know what kind of food they had at the game. Sitting was quick but service was so slow! Granted our server was hustling but order was not. We ordered drinks from the bar. That took a while. Then it took another 20 minutes to order. We had to flag our waiter that we were ready. At the same time, we ordered another round of drinks. Our empty glasses started to pile up so we took our dirty dishes to the bar to clear our table. Another table that was seated right before us had already gotten their food and finished while we waited for our appetizers. Eventually the appetizers arrived WITH our dinner. Strike 2. The stroms are good. The slider appetizer was good. But the salad was eh. It's hard to mess up a salad. Our final bill was outrageous even after the salad was removed. It was my first time and I do not have expectations. Now having been here I most likely will eat at the stadium. Take your strom to go and you may get to eat it in time for the game. Super cute local spot in downtown summerlin. It's more of a big bar vibe with tv's playing sports all around. During the holidays they have a Christmas vibe with some special drinks. Upon entry we were seated and our sever was super friendly. I had the Kristie Cane Martini which was super cute, pretty strong and really yummy! Five-Star Experience at Frankie's! We had a fantastic dining experience at Frankie's Uptown Neighborhood Bar and can't wait to come back. Wow. I was surprised by the menu options. I thought there would only be fried bar food but I was wrong. I got a cauliflower bowl with grilled chicken. It was delicious. It came with this green sauce on the side that was amazing. Someone in our group ordered the caprice salad. It looked really pretty in a long steamed glass with pesto in the base. You had to use a long spoon to mix the pesto in. The strolls also looked delicious. This restaurant surpassed my expectations. read more

Spectacular St. Paddy's Day celebration!! Great, live Celtic band, delicious menu and phenomenal cocktails ( especially the Mark Twain) made for a glorious night! Was in downtown summerlin to attend the halloween parade/bash they have running and decided to grab a bite to eat amongst the plentiful options that exist. I did a quick search and found Frankie's uptown in the mix. Was hankering for some whiskey and upscale gastropub food so headed over here at around 430. The place was already a bit bumping and loved the halloween theme that they had set up. The bar is stacked as you would imagine/expect for a gastropub. Loved the extra cabinet that showed all the "rare" adult beverages. I must admit i was salivating around some of the bottles in there. The service here was friendly and efficient from top to bottom so check mark there. The menu was broken down by appetizers, salads, "bar food" (burgers, entrees, plates), Strolls (strombolis)., and dessert. After a quick glance, ordered a few adult beverages and went with the mac and cheese, the bacon strips, the fish and chips, and then the aviator stroll. The food overall was good so a plus. The appetizers were probably my least favorite part of the meal. They were solid but nothing really " upscale" for it but just a good piece of bacon and good mac and cheese. The fish and chips were good, still juicy. The stromboli was good. And enjoyed it as it definitely had higher quality ingredients and felt like a Stromboli on steroids. All in all, a good spot. Outstanding! I have been wanting to try this place for a while! The ambiance is so cute and comfortable, esp with the Christmas decorations. We came on a Tuesday night during happy hour, and our server Jamie was awesome! The food was spectacular! We ordered the bacon jalapeños, the steak salad, the Brooklyn Stromboli, and a burger. I visited Frankies for the first time after an Aviators game, drawn by the promise of free drinks with our tickets. Unfortunately, the experience was a letdown. The place was uncomfortably loud, and the crowd was predominantly Caucasian. Not that it would be a big deal because we frequent country bars and clubs with a mix of military and veteran friends. However, as two Hispanic women, my friend and I felt out of place from the start at Frankie's Uptown because of how we were treated. No one greeted us, and the staff were cold and distant, creating an unwelcoming vibe. Again, that wouldn't have been a problem either, as we understand bars can get busy. It was what followed that added to our apprehensions. We tried to enjoy our beers. I ended up giving mine to my friend since Im not a huge beer drinker. Not only did the manager or anyone not speak to us, but the general manager made things worse bc after I shared my beer with my friend, he appeared out of nowhere and rudely scolded us, claiming she couldn't drink the beer. He kept a smile on his face the entire time, but it was one of those condescending smiles. It was very clear we were being watched in a judgmental way, which felt awful. A simple welcome or friendly approach from the staff could have made all the difference, but instead, the general manager went out of his way to make us feel targeted and unwanted. His actions seemed intentional, and if his goal was to drive us away, it worked. We left and won't be back. The only bright spot was a brief chat with a tattooed staff member wearing glasses who mentioned being from Corpus Christi. As Texas girls, we appreciated the moment of connection, but it wasn't enough to salvage the night. If you're not Caucasian, I'd recommend steering clear. The general manager's behavior was unacceptable and left us feeling disrespected. As military service members, we expected better treatment. I'd warn my fellow service members to avoid this place. Do you want to die and go to Cherry Pepper Heaven? Take a trip to Frankie's Uptown!! This local Downtown Summerlin spot has North East vibes sewn throughout the entire menu. From amazing hot dogs to the 'Stroll' which is their take on a Stromboli - they all remind me of amazing bar / casual eats from back home in the North East. Frankie's Uptown surprised me in the best way. It's a bit of a haul from where we live, but honestly worth the drive. The food hit exactly how bar food should hit: great sandwiches, solid wings, and the kind of "good drinks" that sneak up on you in a friendly way. Service-wise, our server wasn't super talkative, but not in a rude way, more like she was minding her business and letting us mind ours. And that was fine, because the bathrooms alone deserved five stars. The women's bathroom had motivational Beth Dutton posters that were hilarious and low-key life-giving, and the men's bathroom leaned full mobster vibes. It's clearly a Pittsburgh Steelers bar, but they didn't judge me at all walking in with my Dallas Cowboys jacket. I braced for impact, but the disrespect never came. Appreciate y'all for that. Bonus points: the women's bathroom also had an Angel Shot sign, love to see places that take safety seriously. Overall, it's a fun neighborhood spot with personality for days. Good food, amazing cocktails, however, unfortunately, I won't be returning with my copious amounts of friends & business partners because of my first encounter on a Monday night in November where 4 of us arrive a little before 6pm to order Happy Hour that ends at 6:15pm (per the website). Jamie is our server who was GREAT! He had a lot of thoughtful cocktail recommendations. Anyway, he mentioned HH was over and that they changed the time to earlier. Ok.... great, not my problem. I said please ask the manager if they can make an exception for us since we came here specifically for the HH menu & it's our first time here checking it out with new friends. He gladly did and she said no. Wasn't budging. I didn't want to ask to speak with the manager and embarrass my new friends, so we just stayed. The web advertises a "Home base for locals" which is what I was hoping for, and still..... 6 weeks later says the wrong time 4-6:15pm for HH. When you run a business, you are in the business of people. I'm in sales, and if I make a mistake by not training my social media person properly to do their job and update the time, then guess what? I'm on the line for it. "Of course you can take advantage of our HH since it was our fault that the web listed the wrong time." would have been a better answer. Too bad for them I have multiple accounts to write reviews on. You guys lost out on a lot more than just us.... Learn better customer service, and reap the benefits. read more

After we were seated, our waitress came and she was abrupt and cold. My family, Asian, came in to ask for a table for 8, but only the 4 of us were there and told her 4 more are coming. She took our drinks order, left, came back to take our orders, left, came back with our food, left and that was the last we saw her until the remainder of our party came who were all Caucasians. All of a sudden she was nice, talkative and were engaging with them. I ignored it but he attitude was definitely different... After we were all done, she asked if we needed boxes and we requested for at least 3. She came with the boxes and started to clear the table. When she got to my son's plate, he had some tomatoes on the plate and he said he was taking those home but she said "no, you're not" and took them, seriously??? Came time to pay, and we were auto charged gratuity for a bad service and we didn't have the option to change it? Then on top of it, w we're charged extra for paying with a card, who the heck carry cash anymore? So far, this has been the worst experience we've had since moving to Las Vegas. I hope you change your policy on auto gratuity and charging customers for using CC if you want to succeed in this tough industry. I don't mind paying the gratuity if the service reflected it. Very very very disappointed today upon our visit to FU Frankie's. It kills me writing this poor review and I'm not gonna settle for "it's an off day/night". I've eatin here many times and feel that the entire team working here on this Sunday afternoon of March 9 just doesn't give 2 shits - from the hostess's to the kitchen to the servers. As a matter of fact it's almost like "ugh" another FU customer!!! We are sitting at the outside patio: It's mid afternoon on a Sunday. Not a lot of people in the restaurant and only 5 tables outside in the patio. 4 of the 5 already have their food with the 5th just getting their food. Our server Courtney passed up four times going to four other separate tables without acknowledging nor asking us if we needed to order. After 8 minutes ( I timed it). I had to go to the bar and ask for our server. I ordered a bacon cheese burger w hot hot fries. Fries came out burnt. Burger came out raw without any bacon on it at all! Our server takes my burger and simply puts bacon on top. Now I have a cold, raw, bacon cheese burger. No bueno. Really pissed. I hope that I get something from the owners as they are locals and pride themselves on making things right. Back east we would've been comped our meal (raw bacon less burger). The sad part about this is that there was only 5 tables in the patio at the time and we were the only table that didn't have food nor being helped. Sad excuse of customer service. read more

First time trying this place and we loved it! The food was fantastic and the portions were large. I ordered a cheesesteak and it was flavorful with mushrooms peppers and cheese.. It did not lack anything and served hot my mouth is watering thinking about it while I wrote this review my husband ordered another sandwich and we both only ate half of our sandwiches. The menu did state to share a meal they would charge I did not think that was appropriate based on the pricing of the food. They've got an extensive menu featuring everything from creative cocktails and wines to a solid food selection. Happy hour runs weekdays from 3PM to 6:15PM, which is a nice bonus.
