Never thought I'd like something on this menu(I'm not used to anything similar to this restaurant, more like Olive Garden and what not), I was brought here for my birthday and I had Graham, Gram, Ghram, (I'm not sure how to spell it exactly but I wanna make sure he gets credit) as my server. He was SOOOOOO nice and funny. He even brought me a lil dessert for my birthday :3 10/10 :) I'm glad I got to experience the food here. It was surprisingly large portions and it was so delicious.

Let me start with saying the views were absolutely beautiful and created such a relaxing atmosphere which was perfect for a nice dinner outside. The food itself was delicious and clearly well prepared. One thing to note is that the dinner menu does not offer many options for more selective eaters, but the staff was incredibly accommodating. We were able to order a burger and fries even though it was not on the menu. We also appreciated being able to order calamari and an affogato, which were also off menu. Overall, between the stunning views, great food, and flexible service, it was a really enjoyable dining experience. I've been here a few times and I'm never disappointed. My girlfriends and I had a great time.

We went to hang out with some ducks and wanted to try this place for brunch. Exceptional service and with great views of the lake. Big portions and fast service. Beautiful ambience and decor. The crowd was on the older side, seems like they were all regulars just having their normal Sundays with family and friends.

Americana Las Vegas - Brunch Review We recently checked out Americana Restaurant in Desert Shores, and the location, views, and ambiance are definitely some of the biggest highlights. Situated right on Lake Jacqueline, Americana has one of the more unique waterfront dining settings in Las Vegas. The restaurant was opened by Chef Stephen Blandino, formerly the executive chef at Charlie Palmer Steak, and focuses on modern American cuisine with European influences. The views were fantastic, and honestly, it felt like there wasn't really a bad table when it came to the atmosphere and scenery. The lakefront setting gives brunch a much more relaxed, upscale feel compared with a typical Las Vegas restaurant. Brunch prices were also surprisingly reasonable for the setting and overall experience. The current brunch menu includes options like Italian Eggs Benedict, shrimp & grits, steak & eggs, brioche French toast, and Americana's lemon ricotta pancakes. They also offer $20 bottomless mimosas, Bloody Marys, grapefruit Palomas, or red wine sangria. Unfortunately, service was the weak point during our visit. Our server forgot multiple parts of our order, and we noticed several tables that were seated 10-15 minutes after us receiving their food before we did. We also saw food runners bringing dishes to the wrong tables and, on a few occasions, placing food on the wrong side of the table. Overall, Americana has a beautiful setting, great ambiance, and a brunch menu that offers solid value, but our particular visit had some noticeable service and food-running issues. Hopefully it was simply an off day, because the lakefront location and atmosphere are absolutely worth checking out. Americana Las Vegas | Desert Shores 2620 Regatta Dr., Las Vegas, NV 89128 A great option if you're looking for waterfront brunch, a relaxing atmosphere, sunset dining, or a special-occasion restaurant away from the Strip.

Americana is a New American fine dining type of restaurant located by the Lakes in the north part of Summerlin Vegas. During the day they offer spectacular views of the lake. If you are an artist you might need to come here just for inspiration. Inside the decor is formal and rich looking with shiny silverware and linen topped tables. We tried a burger, a Nashville style chicken sandwich and a dessert. Nothing was bad. But also none of the plates we would order again. The Nashville chicken sandwich did have a nice plump and moist piece of breaded chicken on it but the heat was just a powder sprinkled on it. The truffle fries were similar. The fries were a generous serving of freshly made fried with fluffy interiors and crisp exteriors but were also topped with an Italian type shredded cheese and a brown powder. My husband tried the Americana Prime Burger. They cooked it a bit pass his request for medium-rare. He said that the burger lack that beef flavor that he was hoping for. I was hoping that maybe dessert would be the sweet spot here so I got half my meal packed up so I'd have room to share some dessert. I thought the Lemon Italian Cream Cake sounded good so we gave it a try. The cake was fresh and moist but tasted like a pound cake to me. It lacked the lemon flavor that I was hoping for. Also the cinnamon cream on the side of the cake was somewhat out of place for this dessert to me. I should note that our visit was after a big holiday and they might have been short on help. The waitstaff seemed very cordial but we waited very long for every single thing. Our lunch visit took over an hour and a half. Stunning beautiful atmosphere. Lunch food is ok maybe they shine more for dinner?

Fantastic, prompt service checking in a bit early for a lunch reservation. Simple but well variety menu. Food quality was very fresh and decently portioned. However, Oysters were on the small side for the price point and for only being half dozen, so if that is a go-to for you, I'd suggest an actual Oyster bar or Flemings for that. Overall, the patio environment while refreshing with the water view did come with the downside of falling leaves into food & drink so I definitely recommend dining inside if it is breezy and cold like it was today! Beautiful view, nonetheless. I will definitely be back for the great service to try more menu items such as the New York strip steak, which server Megan who was fantastic advised the sides can be swapped out if desired. The club salad is big enough to be split between two people, but beware the menu says ranch dressing but thankfully the server checked with us if blue cheese was okay which unfortunately is not for me, so I went with Ranch. Hopefully they mention this tiny albeit important detail on their lunch menu to avoid confusion. Thank you Americana for treating us so well, hope to return soon!

Came back again for another amazing dinner. Even better than I remembered. We started with the charcuterie board and a salad. All delicious. I got the salmon, and it was perfectly cooked. With a crisp layer on the outside, and a moist inside. Great service and ambiance. I need to come back more. Such a great experience.

Americana is a safe bet as a local upscale option. Don't think there's necessarily any standout dishes here but that's not a bad thing, especially considering how they stick to classic modern American dishes. Everything I've had here so far has been good, and they benefit from a unique ambiance given their lakeside location in a largely residential location. I get their Filet Mignon every time I'm here and they're doneness is pretty consistent. I prefer somewhere between medium-rare and medium depending on the restaurant and stick to medium-rare here. They rotate a lot of salads depending on the season and I like that their vegetables are always fresh, and never drenched with too much dressing. For desserts, I like their Basque Cheesecake as it's delicious without being too sweet, and they give a generous amount of fruits with it.

This place is so pretty, very well designed around the lake at Desert Shores. The interior of this restaurant is elegant and sophisticated. Perfect place to have a family dinner or an impressive place to take friends or family in town. I love having lunch or dinner here and sitting outside with the beautiful man-made lake as your scenery. There's nothing like the ambiance. Now on to the main thing; The food. How is it, you ask? The lunch and dinner options are better to me. I'm not a huge fan of their brunch menu, which is what I had on this particular day. They have a really great happy hour. It's probably one of the best in town for the value. The cocktails are delicious as well. Now if you do come for happy hour, you don't get the view just an fyi. Happy hour is served inside off to the side of the bar. The service however, no matter what day of time you come is always spectacular. The customer service is like a fine-dining experience. A definite must try, even if it's just for the cocktail and the view!

Really great relaxed vibe here. I got lucky by having a pianist present on one of my trips here. The food is fresh and I can eat their truffles fries for every meal! They are attentive, continually refilling your empty glasses. Great view, great food, great service!

I recently visited Americana Restaurant in the Desert Shores community and had a truly memorable meal. From the moment we walked in, the ambience was warm and inviting -- the dining room feels elegant but relaxed, and if you can snag a seat with a view of the lake, it's absolutely worth it. We started with a couple of appetizers that were beautifully presented and flavorful, and the entrees didn't disappoint either. The menu offers a nice balance of modern American cuisine with some creative twists, and everything we ordered tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I ordered lobster of course and hubby had steak. Service was attentive without being overbearing -- our server checked in just the right amount and was great with recommendations. The pace between courses was perfect, making the meal feel leisurely and enjoyable. Bonus points for the Sunday brunch with bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys -- a fun option if you're looking for a weekend treat. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just want a nice dinner with a view, this place delivers. Highly recommend! Will be returning soon :)

I had to update my review because I wanted to mention ; always order things they way they are on the menu or you will be risking your meal ! I had dinner last Sunday here because my favorite Happy Hour place was closed due to a private party La Madre. I had just had an Enormously Splendid lunch a couple months ago ! The bone in steak was perfectly done ! The whole wait staff is polite and inviting . The atmosphere is quant and refreshingly warm . Sofia I think was our waitress . She is a teacher and had the most beautiful eye shadow ! Truly excellent service . However , I have severe food sensitivity and requested a salad and the kitchen made literally the worst salad I've ever had in my life ! It was soaking with SALT . I have never in my life sent anything back to the kitchen , and have been in the food service industry since 1979! Our kind waitress replaced the first salad with another which was not as bad but was un-edible ! I left it on the table . She should have taken it off the bill , and offered free dessert or something . Very disappointed.

No ! Just dress and enjoy yourself

    Are kids allowed for dinner?

Yes , except Monday. We are closed

Is Sunday brunch a set price? Or simply a different menu?

How much for two people usually?

Depends on the selection. If you go on Wednesday to Friday, the Harvest special is $50pp for salad, entre and dessert plus unlimited house wine but you have to ask as it is not on the menu.…

Do you have a kids menu?

    Yes they do 👍

How does patio/lakeside seating go, can you make a reservation?

Patio/Lakeside seating is outside and yes you can make reservations.

Will there be a full menu on thanksgiving? Or will it be a different menu with Turkey?

    Are children allowed?

Yes. Very family friendly. They just can't sit at the bar. But that's a very small portion of the restaurant.

How much is a three course meal?

You're looking at about 75 to 100 per person

Do they have a happy hour at bar for food and drink?

    Yes

    Is there a dress code?

No dress code but it's fine dining so appropriate clothing would be expected. (Like nice jeans are okay. But I wouldn't go there straight from the gym)

Until what time on Friday is the weekly harvest menu available ? Thank you

The Harvest menu is available the entire day on Friday.

    Is brunch Saturdays?

I believe they do Sunday brunch.

The Brunch menu is Sunday 11-3. And the dinner menu is not available at lunch.

Do you have heaters on the patio?

Yes they do. Just ask to be seated by one if you need it.

Do they still have $1 oysters Tuesday's?

I'm happy to share the news that Americana started up Oysters Tuesdays again a few weeks ago. $1 oysters and $2 Rockefellers.

How do I get them to call me back for a reservation for May 31, 2020 when they don't answer their phone and don't return my message?

I would not have any idea how to answer that question. I've never experienced that.

How many seats at the bar area?

    About 12 to 15

All the staff was super friendly and our server proved really good service. We had wine by the glass and the whipped Brie, mushrooms, steak, and split the burger. Way too much food considering everything was fantastic! Luckily we boxed the steak and reheated perfectly the next day. Wine was fabulous, especially the Alberino. Looking forward to coming back and trying more on the menu!

The steak was flavorful, cooked…read moreperfectly to order (medium rare) and great standalone, but the chimichurri sauce took it to the next level- probably one of the best chimichurri I've tasted. No need for more than a butter knife. The broccolini was flavorfully charred. Top tier entree I would come back for. I also ordered the home cut fries with garlic aioli. The fries were less than desirable. They're a thicker cut and more of a mushy fry. My preference is a thinner extra crispy fry so not my bag. The garlic aioli also lacked flavor so most of that was left untouched. I'm a fan of pandan and had high hopes for the panna cotta but it did not hit. The panna cotta on its own lacked a light sweetness you'd expect and somehow tasted egg-y with no trace of pandan flavor. It was served with a berry compote of some sort which helped with the flavor. Texture was as expected for a panna cotta. So panna cotta alone I would give this a 2/10. Definitely would not have tolerated the panna cotta without the berry but boosted it up to a 4/10. I took the lemon bars home and gave to a friend who loves lemon bars and her feedback was they were really good. Good amount of tart and sweetness but nothing standout. Olive oil cake was a little dry for my preference and didn't take more than a bite. At this point I was full and it didn't leave me with a need to over indulge. I ordered the Suprise Me red wine which was just ok. I should have selected a better pairing for the steak and I'm used to a heavier, Cabernet Sauvignon, but did not see anything on the menu that really matched that flavor palette. the Surprise Me choice did not particularly enhance the steak entree but was decent alone. The vibe is more of a lively, young but mature crowd. I dined alone and had to put in noise cancelling headphones to match more of an intimate dining experience I was going for. Just a preference but something to be aware of. This place lacks any stand out identifying features. As a guest to the area, I found it a little hard to find. It is across from the CraftHaus and Mescal which have prominent signage. Being in the artsy downtown district, there is plenty of paid street parking that costs about seven dollars for two hours. Paid parking is from 8 AM to 10 PM I believe. Service was a little slow. I was seated for approximately 5 to 10 minutes before I was even greeted. A little annoying, considering she could have just taken my drink order and I would've been fine sipping on that while waiting for my order to be taken. So overall, what I recommend this place to friends? Yes but for the Wagyu entree alone. I would also caveat that recommendation with all of the other above preferences regarding vibe and wine selection. It would not be a top recommendation for someone coming to Vegas though. There is too much competition that would overshadow this restaurant easily.

Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the elevator was broken, as informed by the staff. We had two friends who required ADA accommodations: one in a wheelchair and the other who could not walk long distances. We were left with two options: a table in the front lobby, where everyone walks in, providing no privacy, or seating outside. It was 5 PM, and the temperature in Las Vegas was scorching over 100 degrees. Why would I choose to sit outside, especially with two guests who have mobility challenges? Moreover, the server informed us that there were no mist machines outside, which was an insult. The simple solution would have been to call or text us to inform us that the elevator was broken, especially since one of the servers mentioned that it had been broken for a few days. A simple call would have given us time to find another restaurant that could accommodate our needs. However, it was a Friday in Las Vegas, and making a last-minute reservation was challenging. We decided to stay and dine in the lobby near the butcher shop, where we were again seating in the open, lacking privacy. The manager did came over and comped two appetizers, which was appreciated, but it did not resolve the issue. A restaurant should be ADA accessible at all times, and if it is not, they should inform the guests especially if specific accommodation was mentioned in the memo of the reservation. One of our friends, who cannot walk far distances, had to struggle to go up the stairs to use the restroom, causing her muscles to cramp up and other issues. As a local and frequent visitor to this location, this experience has made me question whether we will return.
