We ordered the Wagyu steak, the salmon, and the mushroom risotto, and every dish was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Overlooking the lake, you almost forget you're in Las Vegas. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the large fish tank as you walk in adds a luxurious touch without the crowds and chaos of the Strip. This is my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. Their A5 Wagyu is some of the best I've ever had. It's cooked to perfection and served with the best mashed potatoes I've ever tasted, along with vegetables. The meal feels home-cooked rather than like the tiny steak-on-a-plate experience you get at most high-end steakhouses. The service is always amazing as well. It's better than any of the restaurants on the strip and I live here so I've been to a lot. read more

Let me start with saying the views were absolutely beautiful and created such a relaxing atmosphere which was perfect for a nice dinner outside. The food itself was delicious and clearly well prepared. One thing to note is that the dinner menu does not offer many options for more selective eaters, but the staff was incredibly accommodating. We were able to order a burger and fries even though it was not on the menu. We also appreciated being able to order calamari and an affogato, which were also off menu. Overall, between the stunning views, great food, and flexible service, it was a really enjoyable dining experience. I've been here a few times and I'm never disappointed. I came to this complex with my fiancée to check out reception places. We walked in, got seated in the most romantic seat in the house, with the most beautiful view! It's reasonably priced for fine dining. We ordered the burger and a Caesar salad! They split it for us and gave us amazing service and constantly checked in. Americana is a New American fine dining type of restaurant located by the Lakes in the north part of Summerlin Vegas. During the day they offer spectacular views of the lake. If you are an artist you might need to come here just for inspiration. Inside the decor is formal and rich looking with shiny silverware and linen topped tables. We tried a burger, a Nashville style chicken sandwich and a dessert. Nothing was bad. But also none of the plates we would order again. The Nashville chicken sandwich did have a nice plump and moist piece of breaded chicken on it but the heat was just a powder sprinkled on it. The truffle fries were similar. The fries were a generous serving of freshly made fried with fluffy interiors and crisp exteriors but were also topped with an Italian type shredded cheese and a brown powder. My husband tried the Americana Prime Burger. They cooked it a bit pass his request for medium-rare. He said that the burger lack that beef flavor that he was hoping for. I was hoping that maybe dessert would be the sweet spot here so I got half my meal packed up so I'd have room to share some dessert. I thought the Lemon Italian Cream Cake sounded good so we gave it a try. The cake was fresh and moist but tasted like a pound cake to me. It lacked the lemon flavor that I was hoping for. Also the cinnamon cream on the side of the cake was somewhat out of place for this dessert to me. I should note that our visit was after a big holiday and they might have been short on help. The waitstaff seemed very cordial but we waited very long for every single thing. Our lunch visit took over an hour and a half. Stunning beautiful atmosphere. Fantastic, prompt service checking in a bit early for a lunch reservation. Simple but well variety menu. Food quality was very fresh and decently portioned. However, Oysters were on the small side for the price point and for only being half dozen, so if that is a go-to for you, I'd suggest an actual Oyster bar or Flemings for that. Overall, the patio environment while refreshing with the water view did come with the downside of falling leaves into food & drink so I definitely recommend dining inside if it is breezy and cold like it was today! Beautiful view, nonetheless. I will definitely be back for the great service to try more menu items such as the New York strip steak, which server Megan who was fantastic advised the sides can be swapped out if desired. The club salad is big enough to be split between two people, but beware the menu says ranch dressing but thankfully the server checked with us if blue cheese was okay which unfortunately is not for me, so I went with Ranch. Americana is a safe bet as a local upscale option. Don't think there's necessarily any standout dishes here but that's not a bad thing, especially considering how they stick to classic modern American dishes. Everything I've had here so far has been good, and they benefit from a unique ambiance given their lakeside location in a largely residential location. I get their Filet Mignon every time I'm here and they're doneness is pretty consistent. I prefer somewhere between medium-rare and medium depending on the restaurant and stick to medium-rare here. They rotate a lot of salads depending on the season and I like that their vegetables are always fresh, and never drenched with too much dressing. For desserts, I like their Basque Cheesecake as it's delicious without being too sweet, and they give a generous amount of fruits with it. read more

Perfect place to have a family dinner or an impressive place to take friends or family in town. I love having lunch or dinner here and sitting outside with the beautiful man-made lake as your scenery. There's nothing like the ambiance. Now on to the main thing; The food. How is it, you ask? The lunch and dinner options are better to me. I'm not a huge fan of their brunch menu, which is what I had on this particular day. They have a really great happy hour. It's probably one of the best in town for the value. The cocktails are delicious as well. Now if you do come for happy hour, you don't get the view just an fyi. Happy hour is served inside off to the side of the bar. The service however, no matter what day of time you come is always spectacular. The customer service is like a fine-dining experience. I had dinner last Sunday here because my favorite Happy Hour place was closed due to a private party La Madre. I had just had an Enormously Splendid lunch a couple months ago ! The bone in steak was perfectly done ! The whole wait staff is polite and inviting . The atmosphere is quant and refreshingly warm . Sofia I think was our waitress . She is a teacher and had the most beautiful eye shadow ! Truly excellent service . However , I have severe food sensitivity and requested a salad and the kitchen made literally the worst salad I've ever had in my life ! It was soaking with SALT . I have never in my life sent anything back to the kitchen , and have been in the food service industry since 1979! Our kind waitress replaced the first salad with another which was not as bad but was un-edible ! I left it on the table . This restaurant had a very relaxing ambiance since it overlooks the lake. The service was good. My favorite? The complimentary bread! The shrimp appetizer was good. My husband's salmon was really good. My pasta? Meh. First, my pasta was supposed to come with octopus and squid, it had none. The sauce was on the saltier side. I asked our server immediately why it didn't come with the listed octopus and squid, he took the dish back and they made me a new one-except the sauce came back different. Gorgeous views, cozy vibes, and great cocktails are what sums up Americana in my opinion. First off the views of the lake are STUNNING. Whether you're sitting inside in the cozy glass room or outside with the stunning views up by the lake, any seat is beautiful. Service wise - everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would say that it felt a little rushed, like they were trying to turn the table, but still very friendly. Cocktails were fun and delicious, you HAVE to try the old fashioned!!! The food was the only thing that was alright. The charcuterie was a little basic, the filet was ok and the veggies that came with were under seasoned. The scallops were INCREDIBLE, but the risotto was sub par. Overall everything just needed salt in my opinion. So overall I would probably go back for a fun date night! read more

We had lunch at Americana and the ambiance was truly to die for a modern, relaxing, and made even better by the beautiful lakeside view, which really elevated the whole experience. It's the perfect spot for a laid-back midday meal. We started with the crispy shrimp, which was an absolute standout 10/10, highly recommend. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and a great way to kick things off. For mains, I had the cacio e pepe, and my husband went with the chicken sandwich. The cacio e pepe itself was pretty good. The noodles were lightly seasoned and had potential, though it could've used a bit more cheese, salt, and pepper. I added the salmon on the waitress's recommendation (instead of chicken), and honestly, I was underwhelmed. The salmon lacked flavor completely no seasoning, no depth. If that's the better option, I'd be nervous to try the chicken! As for the chicken sandwich, it looked and tasted very basic, nothing memorable, and not something we'd order again. One small downside to note: we were there for a birthday celebration, and while they did bring out a birthday treat, it felt a bit hesitant and not very enthusiastic, which was disappointing, especially since the reservation was clearly noted as a birthday. Overall, I'd still come back but mainly for the setting, the atmosphere, and that incredible shrimp appetizer. There's definitely potential here, and I'd love to try other dishes on the menu. I was very excited to eat here as it's been on my yelp list for years. I would consider this restaurant middle upper class and the staff did not reflect this, they were kind but not knowing the menu as much and not many recommendations, which is fine but not as "fine dining" in my opinion. We order the lemon Caesar with chicken, this was fine and pretty cheap. My boyfriend ordered the seafood pasta, which was very good noodles were cooked perfectly and sauce was good. For me I ordered the cacio e pepe, and this is where the story falters. The noodles were perfect but I couldn't finish the dish because there was about 3 tablespoons of oil at the bottom of the plate thought that was it and was still satisfied from the view and willing to put up with it, until I had the chicken . It was raw in the middle and it's unfortunate because I only had the one piece left. The staff was kind enough to take it off the bill after asking and offered to bring out another entree/ dessert but definitely left a lasting thought in my head and I'm not sure if I would come back. We went here for Mother's Day with my daughter and my wife. The interior and surroundings were very nice. It was more of a upscale type of crowd. Our food was presented nicely and was overall very good. I had the eggs Benedict and probably one of the better eggs Benedict that I ever had. Our server was pleasant and above board. Came here for the first time last night and was pleasantly surprised! The view was gorgeous, we were seated at a window. Our waiter was extremely attentive, and we were provided with insight on the menu, drink refills, and constant check ins. As an appetizer we split the beet and goat cheese salad which was light and tasty, although it was a little salty. For my main, I ordered the steak Diane which was prepared table side and was delicious! I ate the whole plate. My husband ordered the bone in ribeye and it was very flavorful and tender. I did feel like the prices were a smidgen high for off strip, as they were comparable to strip prices. Although, they weren't so high that I wouldn't come back to enjoy their food again occasionally. I have had Americana saved in my "Must try" folder for so long now, but I was finally able to give it a try the other day! We had a reservation for 5 and while we were being sat at our table the hostess told us she could try to get us a table with a better view, which was already so nice. She ended up getting a table right next to the water, which was the perfect scenery for our brunch. The brunch menu had a lot of different options, and offered a really great deal for bottomless mimosas, sangria and other drink options. They had a sweets section on the back of the menu too. I opted for a simple Eggs and Bacon while my fiance ordered the Shrimp and Grits. Unfortunately, the grits were suppeeeerr watery, but my fiance said the flavor was still good. The eggs and bacon were fine too, nothing crazy. The food was decent for the prices offered. The service was also good, the waters were filled up consistently, that was nice since it was a little hot outside. All in all, Americana is a really nice restaurant for special occasions or even just a nice relaxing brunch. Would love to come to try their dinner menu! read more

I've wanted to try Americana for quite some time. When I lived in Vegas I had no idea we had a waterfront community like this until I found Americana. Sadly, I missed the high of this restaurant. We came for mother's day.Our service was fine, but its always a bad sign to me if I notice crumbs or silverwear on the floor at any restaurant so I was starting to get a bad vibe as soon as we sat down. The view is lovely but not enough to make up for average food. The lemon caesar we ordered didnt seem fresh and was lacking in croutons big time. The crab in my pasta was big but it didnt taste right to me so I mainly ate the noodles which had a nice flavor to them. We also couldnt finish the lemon tart we ordered for dessert because the crust was sooo hard. Lastly, I thought they had a dress code for being considered a nicer/upscale restaurant but they were letting anybody wearing anything in here. I mean I saw... bandanas, hats, jean shorts, and baggy pants during my meal. The Mrs. got the spicy seafood pasta which was different in that portion size was huge and overall really well made. Salmon was made perfect. The best thing about this restaurant is the view. It's pretty cool to sit on the lake and just kinda look out at this community and enjoy it. The weather was perfect so it was awesome. The bar was the menu is a bit limited. The dessert a lemon cooler cake that was ok but frankly bland. The server was nice but couldn't give us any direction on what was good and bad on the menu. Or at least what was more popular. They are located in a plaza with other businesses near the corner, but there is plenty of parking!! Such a seamless booking process through yelp and was seated right when we walked in, cannot complain about that! I was a little underdressed here, you can come casual but depending on the time of the day they do have live music and the pianist that night was absolutely beautiful! They have bar, table and exterior seating along the lake. If you choose to sit indoors there are large windows inside with views of the lake as well! Our server was absolutely amazing thank you Jodi for your kindness and recommendations on what to get! The lake views were absolutely beautiful. We started with the salad and split it between two of us. It was very fresh and the croutons are different but good!! The complimentary bread was really soft and warm along with the butter served. I opted for the salmon with risotto and let me tell you!!! That was the best salmon I've had in this city. The sear on the skin was impeccable and the risotto at the bottom was sooo flavorful I've been craving to go back just for that and have never tasted anything like it. Also - don't sleep on the lobster Mac and cheese either!!! The cheese was melted beautiful and served in a tiny pot but it's defiantly shareable for a whole family. Used to be AMAZING! Happy hour is still good, although the prices on the two most requested items have increased significantly. I ALWAYS tip the bartender, server $20-$40 BEFORE they take our order. Quietly. No reflection on the tip for the bill. Tonight, FATHERS DAY, in the Happy Hour room 1/2 hr early, we ordered drinks on normal prices. I discretely gave the bartender. JODY, a pre tip. I had to coerce her to come to the side bar, we were the ONLY people in the happy hour room. 2 fellows and a large dog came in. The dog kept trying to get up on the bar. NOT A SERVICE DOG. 15 min later, Jody came to take our order. Our order taken, was delivered in various times, 4 drinks. 3 drinks delivered( 1 totally forgotten. finally 4th drink brought. Ordered 2 more glasses of wine to come with forgotten drink Our food was delivered sporadically. I am DONE. The food is good, but the service is horrendous.
