Always a good idea when my friends suggest going here. I love their matcha, and my friend usually gets a fruity coffee of some sort. Best coffee shop towards the Stephen's canyon entrance to the park.

Ordered breakfast and coffee before our hike at Mt Rainier NP. I loved their bakery! The breakfast scone was so moist and huge, a little bit salty and the green onion smelled so good. The blueberry muffin was not too sweet, and also moist and soft, easily finished all of them. Egg bites were also good too, we can taste that they were all freshly made. Coffee was well balanced, I ordered cappuccino with almond milk.

I enjoyed visiting this local coffee shop in Packwood. They have a variety of coffee drinks and baked goods. I was staying in Packwood for a couple of days and walked over to Mountain Goat Coffee from my hotel. It is a charming little coffeeshop with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Mountain Goat also has a small gift store to the side with a number of local products for sale. I just needed something quick for the road and grabbed a breakfast scone and a latte. The staff was really nice and I was happy to support a local business before heading to my next destination. Mountain Goat Coffee roasts their own beans right here in Packwood.

Hit or miss with the items here, but it's still a really cool spot. The cookies are fantastic, but the scone and the coffee were a little disappointing. The ambiance is nice and the service is pretty fast, definitely a great choice if you're in Packwood though.

Probably the only coffee spot in town, but that's okay because they're delicious! I was really impressed by the flavor selections- they had everything you could want! The pastries were also delicious. Inside was quaint and cute, but a perfect place to work or enjoy you r coffee with friends

Great place to grab a coffee and pastry in Packwood. I was a bit disappointed by the limited savory options (little to no vegetarian egg breakfast items), but great seating, solid pastries, and warm service.

This place is so adorable!! They have lots of yummy coffee and pastries. I had the biscotti and a chai latte. Both absolutely delicious. There is lots of seating inside and outside. The barista behind the counter was helpful and quick in getting my order ready. I can only recommend!

Cozy atmosphere. The cashier took the order but was hesitant to say thanks after I ordered. No big deal.coffee was good. Location was perfect after the hike to Packwood Lake.

I have never seen such great wooden architecture before in my life. There are enough seats to host large events as well as many games and books to enjoy. What's great about this place is that they have non-alcoholic beer as well as a variety of craft brewery. The bartender, Jason, was very helpful in deciding which beer to try. If you get a chance to come here, I highly recommend ordering: -Self Care "Scherler Easiest Lager" (N/A): very light, hoppy, tastes like a normal IPA, but without the buzz. It is a bit watered down in opinion, but I don't mind it. -Hourglass IIPA (8.5%): An Imperial IPA with strong pine and orange flavors, a little bitter, crisp, and fresh. Better than your typical lager. -Huckleberry Cider (6.4%): sweet, and beautiful color, a great choice for cider lovers. -"Virgin" Bloody Mary: your typical Mary, but without the booze, and a splash of Yucatán Habanero hot sauce. You can heat it up as much as you want with their variety of sauces. Packwood Brewery is a must try for any hikers or vacationers. Grab a pint, sit back, and relax after a very tiring adventure!

We ordered one order of Huevos Rancherous with over easy eggs and side of bacon. Eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. The homemade green chili and sauces were tasty and mild. Another order of 2 over easy eggs and bacon, with guacamole on the side. Our server was Lorena. I think she's the owner. She was friendly and personable. We had a nice conversation about Mexico, Massachusetts and Washington. They have a good location, an outdoor space that we did not get to take advantage of in June. Most of the store is dedicated to selling gifts and other merchandise. The cafe, where all the ice cream and treats are found, is in the back of the store through a doorway on the right. Milkshake, Huckleberry, Large 24oz ($8.50*) - I'm not sure if they make their ice cream in house. Probably not**, but the milkshake is pretty tasty, studded with plenty of little flecks of blue/black colored berries. The consistency is perfectly drinkable and it's not too sweet. I saw them pouring in milk and scooping tons of ice cream into the blender - the milkshake probably has more ice cream included than even a double scoop cone. The milkshake is delightfully fruity flavored, kind of like blueberry, but also a little different. Just the day before drinking this milkshake, I foraged huckleberries near Mt. Rainier (red and several types of blue), and I can say that it also doesn't taste exactly like a fresh huckleberry, but the ice cream still tastes great in its own way. (4/5) *There is something funky going on with their accounting. A large milkshake (sans whipped cream) should be $8.50 according to the menu displayed at the counter. Their address indicates they are in Enumclaw, so adding a 8.9% Enumclaw sales tax should be $9.26. I was charged $9.49, plus an additional 33 cent service charge (they have a label at the front counter stating they charge a 3.5% service fee for credit cards so that's not an issue). I gave them a call after noticing this discrepancy and they told me that the large milkshake is actually $8.75 since they raised prices two months prior (and didn't update their menu...) and the extra $0.74 is tax. That's equivalent to a 8.5% sales tax, which no jurisdiction in either King County nor Pierce County charges. There's something strange going on and their explanation in the call makes no sense. **Based on my research, I believe the ice cream they use is from Cascade Glacier, which is a blueberry ice cream base with huckleberry flavoring. Any place with unethical or dishonest behavior automatically gets a 1 star review. For Wapiti Outdoors, in the best case scenario, they, for some inexplicable reason, decided not to update their electronic signboard to reflect their latest pricing AND they didn't set up their POS system to calculate sales tax correctly. In the worst case scenario, they are actively scamming their customers. Bathrooms - One unisex room
