As an Asian palate, I'm delighted to have an authentic Thai dining experience near Mt. Rainier. We started with fried wings, followed by hot basil fried rice with pork and pad kee mao with chicken as our main courses. To end our meal, we savored mango sticky rice. Surprisingly, the dishes were neither too greasy nor too salty, and the spice in the fried rice and pad kee mao provided a delightful kick to the taste. If you're in Packwood and craving some authentic Asian cuisine, I highly recommend this place.

    Great beer too!

Always excellent! The fried rice with shrimp is always great, the shrimp are big and cooked perfectly. We usually also get the pad se ew with chicken, also very delicious. I don't have pics of food, it's gets eaten up so quickly we never get one recommended stopping by after a hike, day of skiing, or any other reason!

Fresh, hot thai food cooked in a food truck outside Longmire Springs Brewing Company. Order at the truck and eat inside the cavernous beer bar. The cashew nut dish was warming but not hot with spice, just good flavor.

Glad we caught this while we were in town for the night. Expect a wait for dinner rush esp on a Saturday. Hours currently 1130-7/730 so be prepared! 30-45 min wait towards closing. We ordered the pad se ew with pork. We were surprised to see some peanut butter, on the pork marinade? So if you have not allergies, I highly recommend noting before ordering this dish! Big plus and a sweet treat-- the Ice cream camper "truck" just around the corner out by the brewery!Stop by for a scoop while you wait for your food. :)

Thai food truck in Packwood. There is some space for seating in a building to the side (there is overhead covering and although it doesn't belong to the food truck, customers were eating their takeout there). The owner was very friendly. I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp. The seasoning was good but I found it to be quite salty and greasy (I'm not sure if this was a one-off instance since my friend tried mine and said her drunken noodles were much less salty). The overall portion is on the smaller end but they were generous with the shrimp. It's quite nice to have this as an option since there aren't a ton of choices in the area.

If a full blooded vampire needs blood, a full-blooded Asian like me needs rice! Like duuuh, rice is life!!! A lot of crazy-fun experience happened to me and one of that is eateries in Packwood don't serve rice! (insert cry face) And for 10 days that we stayed here mostly for starch I got noodles and potato and it made me gag at the end of the meal. Tssssk... so on the 9th day, this food truck saved my b*tt to the nth level. Every weekend this food truck can be visibly found across to Packwood Hotel. So the moment I saw it I ran across and it's like I saw an angel playing a harp in front of me. Rice is here!!!!!!! I got a few choices in the menu for rice and I was the happiest. Ordered R1- Zest Fried Rice, fried rice with egg, mixed veggies, garlic, vegetable oil & house seasoning sauce. It was heavenly good, combination of sweet and savory taste. A bit oily but who the h*ll cares when for the past days you haven't eat anything as good as this (I took my prescription pill though). The guy (I assume the owner of the food truck) is friendly and did a great job on giving customer service. Price is reasonable too. Mahalo for reading & happy juandering fellow yeeps!

Really good Thai food. Potstickers were crunchy on the outside tender inside. Noodles cooked Al dente. Good flavor and spices. Great choice for for when you want to eat something other than Pub food, burgers, or pizza.

After hiking in Mt Rainier for a few days, nothing sounded better than Thai! We were thankful to find the truck at the Longmire brewery on Labor Day! I got the yakisoba (recommended!) with just veggies and it was delicious! The flavors were great and there was a good amount of veggies and egg. The woman working in the truck was the absolute sweetest and brought our food into the brewery where we were seating when it was ready a few min later. It was nice to enjoy in the brewery but it was also nice to enjoy leftovers from my hotel room later that night. Wonderful find in Packwood!

Amazing Thai food truck at the Longmire Springs brewery!! We LOVED the hot basil fried rice with pork!! Had a wonderful kick! We also enjoyed the garlic and pepper chicken, add onions. Highly recommend an evening at this brewery for live music, great Thai food and yummy beers

Very good Thai food. Enjoyed the Pad Thai and the Curry, though the curry is fairly spicy. Definitely fresh and flavorful food.

We had small wedding and she catered for us. Easiest part of wedding planning, Jan was flexible with our schedule and so attentive. The food was so good and a lot of it

Don't rely on the directions. Sometimes they are at Longmire Brewery. Best to call the brewery and check. The owner recommended pad prik khing and it was AMAZING. I got so many veggies and chicken. Best food in Packwood by far. Sweetest owner too. Please be kind - she is a small business owner producing the only quality food in Packwood. I'm sure it's tough to provide the same quality of food for large crowds. We had the benefit of ordering on a lazy afternoon.

Love the food! Just wish they would be here more often, lady is real nice. They dont answer the phone a lot? But when they do, This is my favorite place to eat in town!

    Yummy food truck!

A LOT of life has happened since then, so we definitely had plenty to catch up on. Neither of us had been to Bloom Thai before, but we both love Thai food, so we decided to give it a try. This place is definitely different from any Thai restaurant I've been to before. It's super small, with only a handful of tables. You order at the counter, grab your number, and find a table. They also have a big jug of cucumber water that was so refreshing! They didn't have my usual yellow chicken curry, so I decided to try something completely different--the drunken noodles. I honestly had no idea what I was ordering, but OH MY GOSH... I was in love with this dish! The flavors were fantastic, and they topped it with deep-fried basil. I'm not even kidding when I say I think I've dreamed about that crispy basil every day since! It was SO good! The food was definitely the star of the show for me, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I think this is such a fun little spot to meet a friend for lunch, especially if you want somewhere casual and different. That said, it is VERY small, so I personally wouldn't choose it for a family dinner with a bunch of picky eaters or rambunctious kids. The menu is also a little different than your typical Thai restaurant, so definitely keep that in mind. For dinner, I'd probably order it to-go and enjoy it at home. But for a girls' lunch or catching up with a friend? Absolutely! Great little find, and I will definitely be back for those drunken noodles and that amazing fried basil!

The husband, who was serving, checked in several times to make sure I had everything I needed. The chef also stopped by my table when she came out of the kitchen, which was such a thoughtful touch. The pork belly was very crispy(an additional fee), but too salty for my taste. The Pad Thai was good, although not the best I've had. The noodles were cooked well, and I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce. It did not come spicy, but chili sauce was available to add some heat. The spicy omelette tom yum soup had a great balance of mild spice and sourness, and it tasted very authentic. The texture of the fried omelette after soaking in the soup was not my favorite, but that may come down to personal preference. The Thai iced tea had a good balance of tea and condensed milk, although it was sweeter than I prefer. You order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table afterward. Water is self-service. They also have a helpful sign explaining the ordering and seating process for first-time guests. The restaurant was very clean, nicely decorated, and had a great ambiance. I especially enjoyed the small area showcasing the chef's history and journey. Overall, the warm service and welcoming atmosphere made the experience memorable.

But we both are vegetarian and gluten free so sometimes it's difficult to find restaurants that accommodate that. It's not much to look at from the outside but it has 5 stars on Yelp so we went in. My friend ordered the Emerald Garlic and I ordered Thai Garden and we shared Basil Fried Rice. Some places just don't know how to make gluten free or vegan taste good without the soy sauce or fish sauce, but let me tell you, this lady, Papanana, knows how to cook!
