Daughter and I got home late at night (3-10-26) and were HUNGRY! We ordered a pizza to be delivered from the Mountain Mikes near Walmart on Lonetree. We were told it would be 40 minutes. An hour passed and no pizza. Daughter called the store but they were closed. Another half hour passes. We hear a commotion outside and go to check it out. Our pizza had been left on the door step and three raccoons were having a party with it! The delivery person was the manager of the store (Brar). He said he rang the bell, but we were sitting not 12 ft from the door and never heard it. He didn't knock, said he didn't want to disturb a sleeping baby?, and didn't call the phone number we gave them. He just left the pizza. He said he would refund, but then later in the conversation he said he was just "sending it to the boss". It's 3 days later and I have no refund. At least our neighborhood raccoons ate well that night. $41.69 is kind of high for raccoon food. Daughter and I made peanut butter sandwiches and went to bed. In the morning I had to clean up after the raccoon party. The phone number of the corporate office on their web site isn't a working number. I managed to find a customer service number in San Jose. The shift manager there told me to make this review and they would answer me. He said this is the only way to contact anyone at corporate. He said they will respond to this review. They have improved so much! Their prices are very compatible, customer service is outstanding, I was helped by Tai (I might of spelled it incorrectly I apologize in advance). I ordered 3 mountain size pizzas , great for parties, they provided us with ranch and plates, the pizza is good and not outrageously pricey as other pizza places around here. This is about Mountain Mike's Pizza on Lone Tree Way near Raley's shopping center. I wrote a wonderful 5-star review 6 months ago, there were so many amazing flavors and the pizza that night was stellar! Something's gone terribly wrong since then. Their pizza has gone down in quality, little by little, from clumps of too much stacked pepperoni (I know, I know who complains about too much pepperoni?) it can overwhelm when there's too much. To the flavors not quite melding together like that one I raved about 6 months ago. Yet, we kept coming back. Our go-to is the large or medium 'Snowey Alps'... We picked it up there, and the gal at the register was very nice. Anxious to dive into our pizza tonight, this was soon discovered to be a hot mess, it was so underwhelming, it's actually amazing this was from the same place. The tomatoes were cut into very large chunks and there were far too many which I think interfered with how the dough was so doughy and uncooked (unbaked?) Even after putting this in our oven at 425° for 9 minutes, it still couldn't fully cook the dough! My girlfriend noticed too something off about how wet the cheese was. We're so disappointed in this $30.00 mess. We ended up throwing half of it away. We will be trying the Mountain Mike's Pizza on Summersville Road instead for our future orders. read more

I walked in to place an order as soon as they opened. I am not familiar with Mountain Mike's since I am not from this area and only here on business. I asked the employee questions about the pizza. How is it cut, what's the shape of the pizza, how many does a large feed, etc... He just gestured at the wall behind him. No eye contact. He came across as rude and didn't want to be here. Ordered a pizza for a family movie night, I ordered a well done pizza because I didn't want it to be soggy when it got delivered. When I got the box I immediately felt the bottom of the box soggy so knew my pizza wasn't cooked as asked. Lo and behold it was worse than that. When my wife bit into pizza she knew instantly the dough was raw. We called to speak to a manager and were told "sorry sometimes that happens" and "we were really busy today". This store is horrible!!!!! I ordered $245 worth of items to be delivered for my mother's birthday party but we never received it. When we called the store to see what was going on they claimed they had already delivered the pizza. WE NEVER RECEIVED A PIZZA. They refused to re-make our order or give a refund. So we went to the store ourselves.When arriving to the store we were spoken to horribly by JEFF. He literally laughed in our faces and said there's nothing he can do. When speaking with manager HARRY , he was also very RUDE. He did not compensate or show any compassion toward "valued customers".After a while of back and forth , we were finally granted our refund. After distributing our refund JEFF , refused to give his name and stormed off to the back. Once he reached the back we heard an eruption of laughter from JEFF and other staff members (that btw weren't wearing gloves and were wearing winter coats). The only person that helped during this whole ordeal was TY. He provided us with the drivers name and the rude employee. We decided to wait to speak to our driver JATINDER and he immediately let us know that he had taken the pizza to the wrong address. During this time we witnessed a driver coming in visibly high and smelling like marijuana. It was very sad. He also went to kitchen and started grabbing orders without washing hands. As we called out to workers we were ignored and only heard the sounds of their laughter. We spoke with Harry(manager) letting him know JATINdER informed us he had delivered the pizza to the wrong address. He said we could not be compensated because we were threatening and harassing employees. Which is completely not true!! We just wanted our refund and answers. Tonight I ordered a pizza for my family to be picked up in store. I arrived just 20 minutes after ordering and returned home close to 5 minutes later to enjoy with the family. Boy was I disappointed. I understand that it's Super Bowl Sunday and that pizza joints would be packed with delivery orders, carryouts, etc... However, when I order a pizza at 3:00 and it doesn't show up until almost 5:30, that's a problem. Pizza tasted terrible like a plain cracker and I got 1/2 pikes peak 1/2 cheese and the cheese side was burnt. Joined my family here for pizza, wings, salad and beer. Our night started off good but it sure did not end that way. The pizza and the salad were both delicious. No complaints there. We had an issue with our wings not being fully cooked. When we brought it up to one of the workers she just said "that's how they come they are cooked". Ordered 2 pizzas from this place via Door Dash. Got a Robbers Roost and a Pepperoni pizza, nothing special no extras or anything. The pizzas arrived and there was grease actually running out of the pepperoni pizza box onto the box below it. I have never ever gotten a pizza that had so much grease. Also both pizzas tasted of cinnamon and sugar on the bottom which I am assuming is from them not washing pans between making regular pizzas and the cinnamon and sugar dessert pizzas. I love mountain mikes because they almost always make good pizza. Last night the pizza was amazing, the delivery driver however gave himself an extra tip on our credit card receipt, and that got my significant other pretty damn upset. We always try to tip cash whenever we have it on hand. We know how crappy it is to have to pay taxes on your tip money. On a $30delivery, the pizza guy gave himself an extra $6 on the credit card receipt, right after we tipped him a $5 in cash. Update everything was worked out. I still love mountain mikes. read more

Well, I am very disappointed. We go to this location to support the young kids that put in hard work there, and are generally fairly happy with our experience aside from a time or two. However today took the support right out of me. I ordered our usual 2 large, 1 small gluten free, which was repeated back to me and I confirmed, however when my husband returned with the order we were given 2 small gluten free and 1 large. My husband didn't know what I ordered so he thought it was correct upon pick-up. When I called to report the mistake the manager tried to say it was not their fault, but would replace the order and not charge me the difference because of my gas...My Gas! How about my time, my 6 hungry kids, and oh I don't know, the fact that it was not my mistake! She also insisted I return the wrong pizza (stupidest thing ever) before I could get my correct pizza.
