The pepperonis were perfectly crispy and I love the amount of cheese that they put on the pizza.

I ordered a small vegetarian (Mt. Veggiemore I think) which had olives, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, onion, green bell pepper and slices of tomatoes. It was cheesy and loaded with toppings like pizza should be. They have an all-you-can-eat pizza and salad lunch buffet from 11 - 2. I would suggest getting there right when it starts for the freshest pizza. I was there around 1:30 and it looked like the same pizza had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while. Went there yesterday for the lunch buffet for the first time, the salad bar looked kinda old but the pizza was fresh, it was oddly burnt on the crust but slightly underdone in the middle, which means the temp on the oven was to high, but still edible. The freaking bathroom though, so theres only one bathroom with two stalls, neither stall has a door on it, and to offset this, they installed a cheap slide lock on the door frame that's basically just a hook on one side and then a sliding loop, that allows the door to be opened 3-4 inches, this wouldnt be so bad since the stall in the back has a large wall that blocks you from view, but that stall was out of toilet paper, and they use those locking toilet paper dispensers, so you cant grab the roll and go back to the toilet that has cover... The second toilet is in plain view of the door with nothing blocking it, so when another customer tried to come in, the door opened on the slider, leaving a nice big gap where they saw me, we where both very embarrassed... If not for this is have given them a fairly solid 3 stars for the pizza and salad bar, 5 if the salad bar was better and the pizza not burnt on outer edge and doughy in the middle... But as it is, 1 star is the best I can give... I rarely ever leave 1 star reviews of anything, but it was just all around a bad experience, except the woman at the register was really nice. Beware of ordering online using this yelp app. They direct you to a company called " Eat24" and I believe someone there stole my credit card info to pay themselves as LYFT driver . Immediately after I ordered online using this 6 LYFT charges were on my account and I have never Ever used LYFT or Uber in my life ! Kids were hungry. I had to get ready for work and it was too hot to cook. A pizza request was made by my son. Didn't want something just cheap. I wanted to make sure the kids ate something good and also to give back to small business right now due to Covid. Called Mountain Mikes not too far from the house. From the young lady who answered the phone, the pick up and the food everything was excellent! The pizza didn't taste like "kid" pizza. A simple 3/4 pepperoni 1/4 cheese was ordered and everyone loved it, including myself. Next time we will order for the adults too since they had other great options and their prices were on target! I have purchased pizza here for years. In the past, When you'd walk into the store, it's always had a unpleasant odor. I hadn't been for pizza in a couple months there. When I went Friday night to pick up pizzas and the smell of some kind of feces, hit me like a thick soup!! There was one guy ahead of me. 1st, the menu is hard to read, so I grabbed one of the hundreds of folded ones they have in front of the registers... turns out they are as outdated as the decor. I asked for the 1lb of wings they have for 14.99 and they said they only sell the 8oz now for the 8.99. I asked for the kids meal for 6.49, which is a mini and a water. But they dont do kids meals anymore, so it's just a mini for 8.49. Then I asked for 2 fountain drinks, and despite as nm it twice and ordering for at least 10 mins, they failed to charge me, so I o drinks. Was there once in 2005 and decided today would be a good day to give them another try. So here we are, 2010, and things haven't changed much. Got there around noon for the lunch buffet. Cashier greeted us, she was friendly and all. Rang us up and we headed for the salad bar. The salad bar is so-so in comparison to others. Some of the broccoli stems weren't as fresh as they could be and the tomatoes didn't have the fresh taste to them either. The pizza itself was not so bad, I just didn't find it appealing how the tongs were placed on the counter w/o any way of ensuring customers would place them back to where they belong. In other words, there was no way of telling where they belong. Their pepperoni pizza was okay, the pepperoni's were a bit too crusty for my liking. On to the ambiance: this, dear business owner, is CRUCIAL if you're going to have customers come in and SIT in your restaurant. For one, where is the music? It was awkwardly quiet in this restaurant, there was another party of 3 at the other end of the restaurant and they were chatting quietly but you could sill hear them across the room. A lady sat in the booth behind us and we're sure she could hear us, too. The guy in the kitchen was super creepy, kept cracking the kitchen door to check on the pizza instead of walking to the buffet line to actually see for himself what was going on. In addition, he was dragging his feet LOUDLY on the floor, which was distracting me from my conversation. Again, MUSIC can help hinder all these nuisances from your business. As I said before, I was there in 2005 and at the time one of the managers/owners (female) was on the phone arguing with one of her suppliers, right at the counter as I was eating, and after 5 years I figured perhaps they made some improvements but they have a bit work to do. read more

::Update:: They recently remodeled and it now has a very nice ambience to it. They replaced pretty much everything, and one whole side of booths has become those cool tall tables and chairs. They've added a big HDTV, and a party room in back. If you didn't like the retro feel of it before, you should like it now. (The only con is they still have bright fluorescent lighting in addition to the new lamps. You should have one or the other, not both.) That's a minor quibble though, Go Check it out! Friendly, family owned business, delicious pizza, they are about the price of Round Table for a single pizza, but have great specials which are drastically lower the price, even 50%, which keeps us going back. The amount of toppings (sauce, cheese, veggies) varies, but is still basically consistent. Sometimes we joke "this was the discount version", but it's always above average. I pick it up early evening, and they always have a tv on which I believe is why there's no music, there are always groups there, its a great party place, unlimited soda I think.. I ate there at lunch once and they had a tv on then too, so, not sure about the guy who didn't like the silence, if it really bothered him so much, there was a giant tv there, if it was off, he should've asked to have it turned on.. it feels like he was keeping a list of reasons to hate this place. This review is only for the service since I wasn't able to get as far as eating the food. I work in a neighboring establishment that is also inside the raleys shopping center. I called in an order for pickup, and ended up getting busy at work, therefore unable to leave to pick up my food. I called back and asked if it were at all possible that somebody walk over my food, and explained that I'm her neighbor and got busy etc etc. she stated that there was only her and one other person working, therefore unable to leave. Understandable. I asked if she can send it with the delivery driver, as she stated that they were just about to go for their deliveries. She said yes, and when I asked if I would be getting charged a delivery charge, she said yes. Lol, seriously? I'm literally like 10 stores away from you.... And she said "yeah but it's still a delivery". I don't know, does 50 feet still count as a delivery? Lol Ok yeah, I get that "technically" it is still a delivery, but there is a certain kind of respect and service you provide for your neighboring business and establishments that I guess mountain Mikes doesn't understand. Every establishment I've been to inside this center will provide discounts, hook ups, etc for the simple fact that I'm their "neighbor" and this works both ways. She had rather me cancel my order than just wave a measly $2 delivery service charge. Principle.
