This pains me to give this review…read more I am a construction assistant superintendent who doesn't get much time for his lunches and barely gets hot food. I have loved In-N-Out, my whole life and today I have to give a bad review, not only to the restaurant but to the manager. Today when I arrived, I was greeted by very friendly staff and a clean location, but in the background, the manager kept praising how quickly they were putting out food. I understand that time is of the essence, but pushing too fast, sometimes creates more problems and rework. When my coworker and I went to get ketchup, one of the ketchup dispensers was dispersing a water down monstrosity that was extremely awful. I had to go get management and share with them because I like to support locations and companies that I love. After waiting a reasonable amount of time, my burger was ready and so is my coworkers, but when the manager walked up, he took my fries from my meal that was about to be handed to me and gave them to somebody in the drive-through. He then let my burger sit there and get cold while I waited an additional five minutes for my fries. When they did give me fries, they were extremely undercooked, limp, and absolutely the worst I've ever had In-N-Out in my whole life. Up until now, I have always known quality with In-N-Out but whoever this manager that is overseen operations in Antioch at 11 AM does not have the ability to manage quality and quickness. This was hands-down, the worst meal that I've ever had at any In-N-Out, in fact, I've never had a bad meal in over 30 years, in my youth I would drive to LA just to get in and out and today I can honestly say that I will never eat at this location again. Lint fries, a cold 3 x 3 burger and water down ketchup. Ask someone who builds $11 million luxury, hotels and homes. I can tell you that neglecting quality from the start always leads to rework. If I wasn't pressed for time, I would've had them remake the whole meal and it would've been much better but unfortunately, because at least 50 to 75 workers depend on my skill to continue the job scope I had to just take the worst food I've ever had an In-N-Out. The last thing I'll say about this is after he realized he made a mistake. He tried to create small talk to smooth over the lack of quality judgment rather than just say hey let me remake your food. It's gonna be a few extra minutes, but you're gonna get the best quality I can give you. He intentionally chose to just give me horrible food and try to laugh it off and then praise the drive-through for being faster, but neglected to provide quality to the people who come in and sit down.

Ok. Son gets out of school at 3. We get to the crib about 330. He begins homework. Then he does the homework that I provide given they still teach that chris-thief-come- rob-us (columbus) discovered america jive. But that's another topic. Anyway, soccer practice begins at 5 and ends at 7 on Monday and Wed. So coming from Pitts, it takes a half hour to get to Antioch taking the backroads. The 4 lane freeway jive was a good idea, but it still does not solve the fact that folks can't drive, or can't wait to get to their destination to text like the textee is going to drop off the face of the earth before they make their destination......wheew......ok that was my text rant. Ok. So bascially dinner comes after Soccer practice and by the time I'm done cooking, it's close to bed time. So, I decide on a pizza. Didn't want the overpriced Roundtable on a Monday. Wait! I saw a Pizza Hut driving the back roads. Checked online. 11.99 any pizza special. Got it, plus wings. Get to the joint. The cat with quad-focals could not find my order "but we have a such and such special" I show him the confirmation on my phone. Ohh, there it is. Half meat lovers half super supreme with stuffed crust. Their making it now. "WHAT"? I placed the order at 630, for pickup at 715 giving them the benefit of doubt that it would be ready after soccer practice ends at 7. Ok. So we wait. Pizza is done at 740. They show it. grease settling on meat side. Yuck. Son said mmmm. Then they showed wings. WHERE ARE THE DRUMSTICKS MAN? Dude said "oh, the come pre packaged so we dump them in and cook them. I said, ok, so no drumsticks fell into my container? This foo said "correct". I said do you see how these pieces of wing arms were placed neatly to look appealing? He paused. I said look man, I'm a chef. There should be an equal portion of drums and arms. 4 and 4 to be exact. Then the manager/owner comes over to give his two cents about them bring pre packaged and if the customer says how they want them, they will make them that way. Oh really. So if the custormer does not ask, you just dump them in? I asked "none of your prepackaged wings comes with drumsticks?" He said they do, but they don't sort them, they just cook them, and the customer has to request the "types" they want because the person preparing them does not look at them. When I told him I saw him neatly placing in my tray as he prepared other trays, then checking the receipts to see who ordered what. He began to give me some jive about how they are weighed, changing the subject. When I asked him if he does quality control on all food there being boxed up, or if he knows what that means. He said yes he does, and said that is also why they show customers the pizza. I asked him if he saw the grease on mine, (and showed him). Blank stare....then "would you like another made sir?" I then infomed him like server, that I'm a chef. I then schooled him that quality control means that you check the appeal of the food you serve, and won't serve something you won't eat. I also gave him the senario theat if his own mother ordered wings and he knew that the drumstick were her favorite part, he would give her 4 sticks, and 4 arms for her 8 piece. He then offered to remake them for me with drumsticks. I declined and asked for my refund for the wings. I didn't let him off the hook with quality control. Explaining. If a customer orders wings, there should be an equal portion of drumsticks and winglets. Not all winglets with the excuse that "that's the way they are packaged" Also. When an order is placed on line for future pickup, the pizza should be ready when the customer arrives for pickup. One final thing, there should always be someone cleaning, and wiping down food prep areas. He prolly called me all kinds of " basa shamultas" (f u bich in arabic) after I left. Yelpers! If I won free pizza from this establishment for a year, I would decline. Pizza hut was good 14 years ago, the last time I tried it. Manager was nice, but arrogant until I informed him I am a chef, and schooled him infront of his staff about quality control. I was not trying to cause friction, but he became loud so they could hear. That when I gave him a crash course on food prep, "clean as you go" how to cut opperating costs without cutting corners, and how he should feel hurt if he lost one customer. Customers keep food on the table. Oh, one last thing. The pizza. Never in my life have I used the word nasty to describe pizza. BUT, you'd rather eat chunks of my vomit, than this pizza! We visited this Pizza Hut as a special treat for our son since it's his favorite pizza place, even though it's a 30-minute drive from our home. This was our first time at this location, and overall, it was a great experience. The positives: * The food was excellent! We ordered wings and two large pizzas, all made with fresh ingredients and served hot. Everything was delicious and exactly what we were craving. * The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. * The store was decorated for the holidays, which added a festive touch to the atmosphere. The considerations: * We went at night, and the atmosphere made us feel like it might be better to visit during the day. Overall, it was worth the drive for the great food, friendly service, and holiday spirit. We'll definitely consider coming back! read more

They have one of the best crusts and pizza flavor. However, prices are high, they seldom participate in the promotions seen on TV, deliver fee is high AND they now have the nerve to tack on another fee for the so called "high cost of doing business in california". So essentially they levy their own tax so we can pay for their cost of doing business! Save your money and take your business elsewhere and hope they move to another state where its cheaper for them to take in profits at their citizens expense. read more

Two hours on a Wednesday night and I'm only half mile away. I called after the first hour and the girl said I was the next to go out and not to worry it would be fresh. It was not.. Worst part is I think one of the employees stole my card number and made online purchases amounting to over Two Hundred Dollars! (investigation pending). Pizza was ok but customer service was bad. A Hispanic guy (claimed he was the Store manager) was very rude and racist. I heard him talking down on a Chinese man after the man placed an order last week. He did not washed his hands after using the register and went straight to putting gloves on and making pizzas. When it was my turn in line he said "fuck" under his breath. This is ridiculous and I've never had this experience before coming into this Pizza Hut. read more

this is the worse pizza hut ever. the stupid Amigo JESUS that says he is the owner a a Jerk. i ordered a pepperoni pizza with half mushrooms and the dam pizza only had 7 mushrooms and 10 pepperonis. when i called the store he said that is how they come. so i took the pizza back and threw it at his face. there was also cockroaches in the store. However, I'm providing the rating in the context of its impact on the average rating of this location because of the outstanding service provided to me by Jason during my visit: he provided very high quality customer service despite working in what one might consider an otherwise average (probably uncomfortable for some) suburban context. My experience with Jason started off on the phone. I called to verify that gluten free pizza was available and he assured me that he had me covered. I told him I was thinking about eating at the location (the place has a pick-up counter with no actual seating), and he joked that it's not really a sit down spot. But, he said "Don't worry, we'll take care of you!" He cautioned me that the spot was located "sort of the hood", but because of his incredibly welcoming demeanor on the phone -- I was not deterred. I'm a 5'-11" male person of color in dress casual with a hipster comb over, this particular day. Let's just say that at 1:30pm on a weekday at this location, you could tell I wasn't "from around here". That being said, it's not such a sketchy area that you'd necessarily feel uncomfortable picking up pizza during the day. I walked in, and Jason greeted me with a smile, asked me if I was the person from the phone call, took my order, and invited me to eat at the counter (he later offered his stool) despite the place not being set up for that. I didn't know that my medium gluten free pizza would come with a free 2 liter soda, and we joked that I would look funny drinking out of a big a** bottle: he offered me napkins, a cup, crushed pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese packets. The pizza: I have a gluten-free palette. So I get that gluten free pizzas just taste different than gluten-full ones. But in the gluten-free world, my Sriracha Pizza was a solid 4.5. Generously topped. Balanced. Thoroughly cooked to just a bit of a crisp at the crust. Jason did his job. All the way through, Jason made me feel comfortable and welcome. The kind of guy that is comfortable to talk to, but also comfortable to be around in silence. Because of his service, I felt it was my responsibility to let people know that this cat is an incredible asset to this place. I had never been to a Pizza Guys location before. But, because of my experience with Jason in Antioch, I would go to Pizza Guys again.

This is not a preference--it is a religious requirement. This is the second time there has been an issue with this item. On a previous occasion, I was at least contacted in advance and informed that the item was unavailable. However, this time I was able to place an order for Halal pepperoni as listed on your website, and instead of notifying me that it was unavailable, the store sent pork pepperoni. This is entirely different from what I ordered and directly conflicts with my religious beliefs. I am not able to consume--or even handle--pork. I immediately contacted the store and was told by a representative that your location no longer offers Halal pepperoni. If that is the case, it raises several concerns: Why is Halal pepperoni still listed on your website? Why was I not contacted when the item was unavailable? Why was pork substituted without my knowledge or consent? Listing a Halal product but substituting it with pork is unacceptable and misleading. I also requested a refund from the store and was denied, despite receiving an order that did not match what I purchased. I would like this matter addressed and a refund issued. Additionally, I strongly recommend correcting your online menu immediately to prevent this situation from happening to others. This experience has been extremely disappointing, and I will be pursuing further action if this matter is not resolved appropriately.
