This review is for Mountain Mikes Pizza located at 620 Woollomes Ave, Ste 101, Delano, CA 93215. I ordered my pizza for delivery, pizza was cold, missing several ingredients, very little cheese and sauce. I paid $45 and it was only for a Large. Sadly i don't see myself eating here ever again, with those $45 i can get 2 large pizza from Costco. This isn't the first time either, i tried giving them a second chance but they didn't seem to do better. So long and good riddance! read more

I went in here for their weekday lunch buffet. This goes for $14.75. They basically offer a salad bar and an assortment of different pizzas. The buffet also includes soft drinks from the fountain dispenser. The price is reasonable, but to be quite honest I did not find the food here to be very appetizing. The lettuce at the salad bar did not seem fresh and everything else at the salad bar looked sort of messed up and untidy. While there were several varieties of pizza being offered, they all seemed to be sort of dried out. read more

We just had lunch at this location and we ordered some pizzas and one pizza was wrong. we were polite and returned it and let them know it was a pepperoni with pineapple not a pepperoni with jalapeños. They took it back and we waited for a while and got all our pizzas. all they did was remove the jalapeño and place pineapples on it. I'm allergic. I smelled it when I got it close to me. Good thing I didn't eat it. I would not trust this location. read more

I ordered takeout and it was ready within 15 minutes. The food is delicious when it's fresh. The pepperoni is crunchy and the cheese has a pull. My only thing against it is that I wouldn't want them to put the jalapeños in the oven to avoid it getting burnt like that and losing the flavor. On the website there is a section for any comments, so maybe if you want the same thing, mention it there! I also went for their lunch buffet! For two people, we paid around $30 total. Great price. It comes with a drink, 4-5 (i forgot how many) pizzas, potato wedges, churro bites, and a salad bar!! They have sports on the TVs, so you can watch TV while eating. They also have an arcade! Decided to stop here and have a quick bite. It was around 3 so not very busy. The lady upfront was very friendly. I ordered a personal pizza with 3 items. It only took about 15 minutes And it was hand delivered to me as I sat there. It smelled good!! I got in my car and couldn't wait to eat. I started eating as I drive down the freeway. It was cut into small little pieces which were perfect for eating when driving. The crust was perfect. Perfect amount of sauce. And toppings were plentiful for such a small little size. Placed order for delivery @6:10 Had to take myself to the establishment for a refund because when I called @7:23 they refused to give me the name of the person who used their personal cell phone to call my cell phone multiple times. They refused to give me the name of the person who answered the phone, over the phone, they made me work for my refund when I got there. Instead of simply refunding me for a goofed up order, they forced me to get on the phone with the owner. A man, I now know, is named, Gwonwor Singh. Instead of simply refunding me over the phone and handling it professionally, I didn't walk out with a refund until 8:02!!! Notice the time stamp for my refund. 8:02 pm Placed order @6:10 and asked for a refund @7:23pm. Didn't actually refund me until I drove over to the establishment , got my HUSBAND on the phone and said for the whole lobby to witness, "they STILL haven't refunded me." Then they started the less than two mins process of my refund. Pictured is my receipt with an 8:02pm refund time stamp. And my order placement at 6:10. Didn't have the decency to apologize or promise this isn't the normal way they' practice. So, be prepared to be screwed over and then work for your money back. Mountain Mike's Pizza in Delano, a short story about the good,bad, and ugly. -The Good- The wife suggested this place after morning church service last Sunday as it is one of the new places to eat that have come to Delano. After we got our pizza we went home and it was really tasty. There must have been at least 100 pepperonis on our pizza. Each pepperoni was a little spice delight complimented with cheese, bread, and sauce. -The Bad- I didn't have the best experience with the people working here. I have nothing against people that are training, I understand they are new and trying to stay afloat as a business but I also understand what good and bad customers service looks like. I walked in to get my pizza, I asked for two sides of ranch. Not in addition to what they give already free, I am talking just asked for two small cups of ranch. Guess what, they charge $1 per ranch. At that price they must be trying to buy a small ranch on the side. -The Ugly- I was asked by the wife to get a large or extra large pizza so I called and asked for prices. They told me it would be $40+ for an extra large and $36+ for a large. I was going to pay it, if for nothing else just for the experience. The wife on the other hand said absolutely not and found a coupon for a large pizza at $21. I say this is the ugly side because a logical person might think "hey this customer wants a large one topping pizza and we have a special just for him". I also admit fault here for not asking about their specials first. I just know at Pizza Hut or Dominos they lead with the specials and to not do so feels like I'm getting scammed. Also $40+ for a regular non-deep dish pizza is kinda crazy. The pizza was good, worth $40+, no way. Will I be back, probably not but it was definitely an experience. read more

We know we are on the a bit odd whenever we order from Delano Mountain Mikes...we ask that the pizza be delivered whole...as in not sliced. The team there always fulfills our wish each and every order. We have a pizza stone and we crisp up the crust for a few minutes on the hot stone and can only do so with a whole pie. I have been to a couple of Mountain Mike's locations and this location by far serves the best pizza. If you want excellent customer service, pizza made to perfection and good deals- this is the place for you. It's a clean, spacious restaurant with a pretty cool ambiance with large TVs and great decor. Love the map of Delano at the front of the restaurant. Would definitely recommend to everyone to try! Only reason I gave a 2 star was because price difference and unprofessional Customer Service! Great pizza and wings are phenomenal the only problems we had was the menu has things priced one way and then when we got rung up the prices were different and when I asked why that was the case we were told "the system updates it on their own and I have nothing to do with that!" Also Mandy the cashier lady was rude and very unprofessional! Customer service needs improvement for sure. Sad to say that I had to wait for over an hour for my pizza while I watched customers come in and order after me get their pizza before me and for the manager to only offer me a dollar soda for me having to wait all the extra time. And people not to go here it takes forever to get any service there's a grasshopper above the salad station and no safety against covid it's all use the same tools to grab. read more

We love Mountain Mike's and we were excited that one opened here in Delano. Unfortunately, the experience we had at this location was a mess. We created an account and ordered online for pickup. After our order was complete the website stated that they would email us when our pizza was ready. 45 minutes later we did not get an email so my husband drove over only to be told the order never came in. The staff member asked for the phone number and email it was under, when given, they did not have any orders. My husband showed them that the transaction cleared through our Chase account and we never received a confirmation email. The staff member looks at our Chase account and says "Oh, order 202!", then goes and gets the pizza that had been sitting out for quite sometime. My husband gets home only to discover that the pepperoni, mushroom, black olive and green onion pizza we ordered was missing the pepperoni and the pizza was stale. I am obviously mildly irritated with the whole ordeal and in the end we simply didn't want to drive all the way back to the restaurant to get an exchange or refund because it was getting late, so we ate it. We realized, as said above, it was stale and dry. Not what we were expecting from one of our favorite pizza chains. I am hoping this is just the little hiccups any recently opened restaurant might experience and not something that will continue to occur. Very frustrating. We will order from this location again at some point and see if our opinion has changed, if so, I will adjust my rating. read more

Went to this location when visiting some family over the holidays and was absolutely impressed. I've always enjoyed Mountain Mike's pizza so I like going to various locations to compare what each one can offer better. This location was bigger and had great service! Since it wasn't too busy during the time I went I was able to compliment the employees and they informed me they are under new ownership. I loved the crispiness of the pizza and how hot and fresh the garlic cheese sticks were! Will definitely be returning anytime I am in town or passing by. read more

Delano replaced Round Table pizza with a Round Table pizza 2.0. The pizza was decent. Not worth the price, but okay. Would probably come again if someone invited me or it happened to be there in front of me. I ordered mozzarella sticks and the cheese was still solid, not gooey as they should be.
