We got to Mountain Mike's, looking and craving some pizza late night from 10 to 11 p.m. Not only was service really quick and gave us a very large portion, but we got to order two different types of pizzas, and they cut them in half for us to try two different flavors. We got the Indian-style pizza and then the traditional pineapple barbecue pizza as well. Both had really rich, succulent flavors. On top of that, there was nobody there during that time of night. If you're craving pizza with a large party or a small group of people, I'd highly recommend Mountain Mike's in Fountain Valley. They deserve the love. Let me start by saying I have tried dozens of pizza places at least once and never again. Tonight was our first time trying this one and it won't be the last. The crust was cooked to perfection where you get that light crisp at the end of your bite and the toppings were all fresh and very tasty. We only got one pizza tonight and never have high expectations after being disappointed regularly lately with tons of other places, but we'll be ordering for our next family dinner night. Got the Snowy Alps and thoroughly enjoyed it with my wife. They do a good job and the location in a shopping center is convenient. Just park and walk in. Genuinely, don't come here. We were the ONLY customers in there and they messed up our order. All we wanted was pepperoni and jalepeno on the pizza and they forgot the jalepeno. I suggest you people go to round table Or Shakeys pizza buffet. I've seen the quality of this pizza chain has gone down hill. When I first started going here the selection of pizza was decent. They had like 3 pies out with different toppings. Now after a couple months I don't know If the chain or the management has changed but this buffet is worse than Shakeys and Round Table. The last 2 times I came here they had 1 pepperoni pizza, 1 plain cheese, and 1 BBQ pizza and that was it. Not what your thinking when you think of a buffet. Came on Easter Sunday for dinner for the first time. We ordered a medium Pike's Peak Pizza which is basically the meat lovers. The pizza is cut into smaller 2 1/4" wide slices, which is nice. The type on the menu in the TV screens are also fairly small, but fortunately they have a take-out paper menu you can read easier. The cashier and staff are friendly and informative and it's nice that they have booths to sit in. We were told that there is a lunch buffet during the weekdays which is apparently worth trying, but not available on the weekends or at night. The pizza was good, but I think your choice in pizza makes all the difference. I think pizza with some vegetables is usually a better option, but we ordered the meat lovers by accident. Decided to try out this pizza. I ordered a large and it was about $40. How insane is that? Look, I know the economy is bad, but you're charging $40 for this pizza??? This pizza was NOT good.
