We went here for dinner and this location doesn't serve liquors..abit bumped since it goes so well with fried chicken. We ordered a combo of fried chicken, Tteokbokki, and spicy pork kimbap, plus mixed assorted Fried Basket (seafoods & veggies). The portion is quite big and we do have some left over for lunch. The foods are quite nice and well cooked & well seasoned. As for the prices, very reasonable. Service is nice and friendly. The place is right on the corner of the strip so it has all windows from all 3 sides. So it well lite and clean plus spacious. Parking is good with front and back. Overall, not bad for a good & big portion meal at reasonable price and with nice & friendly service.

Food is yummy and has big portions. Service is also nice, it's usually fairly empty. the place has nice music and is very clean. Rose pasta, spicy ham and sausage noodles and chan chan rice cakes are my top dishes. I wish you could add meat like ham or spam onto the rice cakes. Sadly, their parking situation is horrible and it took me over 20 minutes to find any parking. It is quite frustrating and unfortunately is not worth the time for me especially when I call ahead to place an order with the intention to save myself time during work hours. Half of the spots are reserved for a separate business building the plaza and the back is only a few spots mainly taken by the gym people. Sucks because if they had a better location in HB i would come more often...

I've eaten my way through more Korean fried chicken spots than I can count, but Chan Chan will always reign supreme to me. Hardcore loyalty! I've always eaten at the Irvine location but definitely wanted to give HB's location a try. Chan Chan & Sweet Garlic Wings (5/5) If there's anything about these wings they have the perfect crunch to the skin. So crispy and decadent. .That audible crunch that makes the whole table go wild. The meat underneath stays impossibly juicy. The Chan Chan sauce hits that perfect balance of sweet and spicy. A little heat that creeps up gently, layered with savory depth and a subtle sweetness that lingers. But the Sweet Garlic? That one owns my heart. It's glossy, garlicky, slightly sticky, and dangerously addictive.  Chan Chan Kimbap (4.5/5) First of all, the portion size is extremely generous. All the flavor profiles are wrapped delicately and work harmoniously with each other. Each bite feels balanced; slightly sweet, slightly savory, fresh, and clean. It's not heavy or greasy; it's comforting in a composed. This one delivers on that classic flavor profile while still feeling hearty. Tteokbokki (4/5) Their tteokbokki leans into that addictive sweet-savory zone with just enough spice to wake up your taste buds without overwhelming them. The rice cakes are soft and chewy -- that signature elasticity that makes tteokbokki so satisfying. When the sauce coats the rice cakes, it creates this glossy, clingy texture. And adding ramen noodles? Elite decision. The noodles soak up the sauce and add another layer of texture, making every bite more dynamic. The space itself is small and cozy. Nothing flashy, but it feels intimate and easy. It's the kind of place you come to focus on the food and your friends. The servers were friendly and welcoming. I do wish they checked in on us a little more since we had to flag someone down a few times for water refills, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. And once they secure their alcohol license? Oh, it's over. This place is going to be even more packed. If you're in Huntington Beach and serious about Korean fried chicken, this is the one. Some places are trendy. Some places are good. And then some places just consistently hit. And Chan Chan hits every time.

Chan Chan is the spot when I'm craving ultimate Korean food that doesn't involve soups, so I'm talking about kimbap, kimchi fried rice and crunchy korean fried chicken. What I like about this spot is that they have generous portions. Their korean fried chicken is super crunchy as they used a thicker batter! When fried correctly, it gives that ultimate crunch. I liked that they offer the sauces on the side, so you can control how much sauce you want with each bite. My favorite is definitely the garlic and the chan chan sauce. Other dishes I like are the chan chan kimbap and the kimchi fried rice. The kimbap tastes fresh and the portions for the kimchi fried rice are quite generous! Parking can be a struggle during peak lunch or dinner times. We came here a second time on a Sunday around 2pm, and there were plenty of spots!

Chan Chan Huntington Beach is tucked in the center between the big bank and the church. The service is always fast and friendly, with a casual ambiance. Their Korean fried chicken is made with delicious batter, and the tenders are always juicy with generous portions. Ask for an extra dipping sauce, it's got a kick! My favorite dish here is the Spicy Seafood Fish Cake Soup. Savory broth, many varieties of fish cake and seafood, and I add ramen noodles which pair nicely with the delicious broth. Dine in or to go, it's always a treat that hits the spot. Enjoy!

Chan chan has a fresh and modern environment. The employees are helpful and kind. The chicken here is super crunchy. There an option for sauce on the side, recommend. Food came out quickly. Server checked on us frequently. Would come back!

I heard about Chan Chan Irvine, but since Huntington Beach is closer, decided to try HB location instead. We got there on Sat around 2pm and the restaurant was empty. I'm always a little apprehensive when the restaurant is empty, but we figured we would still try it out. For the most part, food was better than expected, like the kimbap. Kimbap here is excellent, with the right kind of rice (slightly sticky) and plenty of sesame oil. I love the ratio of veggies/meat to rice, since I don't like too much rice. We had the half and half of beef and spicy oden, and I'd def recommend beef over spicy oden. The tokbokki was a bit of a letdown, because I really wanted the retro style, which is the one they cook tableside (juksuk tokbokki). I haven't had that style since I left Korea, so I was excited but found out they only have it in Irvine location, bummer! I also wanted a glass of beer, but they don't have a liquor license yet, double bummer. But, service was nice, the ladies that work there were very attentive and efficient. We also ordered the chicken with green onions, and the chicken was fried perfectly. Their pickled radish was very good too, I'm kinda picky about my pickled radish that you get with Korean fried chicken, and theirs is really good. Overall, I'd come back once they have their liquor license and they start doing the tableside tokbokki (retro tokbokki). Kimbap alone is worth it. Plenty of parking in the mall.

Wow! Portions were very generous and perfect for group sharing, making it a great spot to dine with friends or family. Everything tasted amazing and well-seasoned. Great service & friendly staff If you're craving Korean street food or Korean fusion, Chan Chan is definitely worth checking out!

I've heard so many good things about Chan Chan and finally got to try it out. We came on a Friday evening for dinner and there was no wait, which I'm surprised about because the food was really good. The wings were so crispy, juicy, and flavorful. The wings are huge and I would recommend 8pc for 2 people, if you plan on ordering other items on the menu. I like that they put the sauce on the side to dip, so the wings stay crispy. Our favorite sauce was the sweet garlic, it's a must get. The Kimbap was really good too, definitely a must get. They have seating indoors and have a separate kiosk for takeout orders. ig: @cravingswithcat

Big servings friendly staff! The fried chicken wings are soooo good. Sorry that they didn't have the soju I had my taste ready!

Delicious, delicious. I had an amazing lunch. I tried the seafood soup (9.0/10) and the grill beef kimbap (9.1/10). Both were delicious. The amount of soup I got was a lot that it took me an hour to eat my food. I highly recommend it.

I visited on a Sunday around noon, and there were only three tables seated. One before, my table, and one table after me. The server seemed the most attentive to the first table. It took a while for us to place our order, and the server forgot my table's banchan until I requested partially through my meal. By then, the eggs were a moot point since our tofu stews were cooked and wouldn't cook the eggs, which was a bummer. Both of the other tables received their banchans as entrees were served. When waiting to close our tab, it also took us some time to get checked out. My group walked up to the resister after waiting at our table for a while and still had to wait an additional amount of time before we were able to pay. Perhaps the restaurant was short staffed during my visit? Perhaps the server was new to the role? I think Bon would be a great lunch space with its cozy atmosphere and easy parking options if some adjustments were made to better equalize and streamline the customer experience. My group personally felt overlooked during our meal, and that detracted from the overall experience.

We walked in and the place was quiet around 5 pm on a Sunday. Within minutes though customers were flowing in and out. Inside there are a couple tables where you can dine in. The customer service is excellent here. Our rice got cold, they noticed, and offered to reheat it for us. Our order was quickly taken and prep began, the place began to fill with the aroma of barbecue chicken. When the food arrived it was plenty for the two of us and then some. The portion here are big for what you pay. The pricing for food is below what you'd expect to pay at the beach. For the food- The interesting concept of corn dogs with an Asian twist was what originally grabbed our attention, so we tried the classic Korean corn dog. You can add sugar or not on this one, it comes with ketchup and mustard. We also had the orange chicken which was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with an orange marmalade flavored sauce, topped with sesame seeds. We also had the barbecue chicken. Both entrees came with a side of rice. For me the orange chicken was a hit! The corn dog was a nice addition because it didn't taste like an American corn dog. The breading had a different flavor and was crunchy on the outside. Not bad for just a quick bite to eat while riding around Huntington! Give them a try, the kids will love the Korean corn dogs!

I have been looking for a Thai restaurant that makes Pad Prik King just like how I used to have it when I was a kid and this place is PERFECT. The sauce is decadent and not gritty at all, just the right amount of spice and the green beans are cooked perfectly! Additionally, we tried the mango sticky rice for dessert. It was probably the best mango sticky rice I had ever had, the mango was ripened to perfection and they have ample coconut sauce, which most places don't give enough! We even came back a second time in one week and got the tom kha soup with chicken. Again, flavors were totally on point. Lastly, their prices are SO REASONABLE and the portion sizes are great. Will definitely be coming here as a regular!
