It had a build your own pizza with vegan cheese abad oh my goodness it hit!!! At $13.99 for an individual pizza. It's a steal! Customer service at this location was great. You gotta understand it takes time for a pizza to be out together and bake. To save time it's better to order online. My only complaint is that online orders don't take Apple Pay. Gotta punch in the credit card number and sometimes I am too lazy to do all that.lol read more

I love Blaze Pizza and honestly, I'll drive farther to come here instead of going to Pieology because I usually like Blaze more. But lately, the customer service has been so bad. There were three workers there and they were all just standing around talking. We were the only ones in line, and every time it seemed like someone was about to help us, they would just walk away without saying anything. What really pissed me off was that we were next in line, but instead of taking our order, they went and finished the pizza for the people ahead of us. Those people had already ordered, got their pizzas made and cooked, picked them up, and LEFT. And we were still standing there waiting to even place our order. We eventually had to ask, "Is someone going to take our order?" because nobody was acknowledging us. And when they finally did, there was no apology, no "sorry for the wait," not even a simple "thanks for waiting." Just a completely dumbfounded look and an attitude while they took our orders. I understand restaurants get busy. I understand things happen. But that wasn't the situation here. There were three employees, we were the only customers waiting, and they were just standing around talking. It really felt like they didn't care that we were standing there. Blaze is supposed to be a quick grab-and-go type of place. If you're going to take your time and not even acknowledge the customers waiting, you're wasting other people's time, and that's honestly pretty fucked up. I genuinely like Blaze, which is why I'm willing to drive farther to go here instead of Pieology. But experiences like this make it hard to justify going out of my way for a place when the customer service is this bad. Since my last review back In 2018, they have fixed the dough splitting apart issue that we had last time. However, we still had black crusty stuff all over our hands and our pizza was burnt. Still. Still. I am not sure if they just don't clean their oven as often or what the issue is on why your hands get black from eating their Pizza. This issue had been resolved previously but as recently started back up with our last two orders. It is a bummer as we do like coming here and getting their pizza with the selection of toppings that they offer. However, I hate having to keep asking them to put more of something on. If I say extra it should mean put more on. Or if I ask to cover the pizza with mozzarella that should mean cover the pizza with mozzarella and not just sporadically put it on there. They have turned down the music so it is not as loud in there as it used to be which we appreciate. This place is close to our house and really want to enjoy it again. read more

I was craving Pizza on the way home today, and stopped into Blaze Pizza - it did not disappoint! The service was fast and friendly, in a clean and cozy environment. I ordered the build your own pizza with - fresh mozzarella, gorgonzola, ricotta, red sauce, meatball, pepperoni, and a side of Mike's hot honey for dipping. Wow! Location is conveniently near Sam's club with a ton of other restaurants. We went in to a build our own pizza. I got a cauliflower crust (+$5.50) (it's gluten free but not dairy free as it has cheese in it). It's really good! The attendant was super helpful and answered all my questions about the crust / gluten allergy. We brought it home and i absolutely loved it. There are times when it's super busy and other times when there is a minimal wait (honestly best to order ahead of time). It is always clean whenever I visit. Staff is generally very friendly. Shoutout to Olivia who is so nice. There are digital deals in their app. My favorite is the two topping pizza with fountain drink for $10 (pick up only). I walked in and wasn't greeted or acknowledged at all. The pizza maker immediately started working on another order, and I still didn't receive a single word. I don't have any food allergies myself, but I was very concerned to see Theresa handling multiple orders without changing her gloves between pizzas. In my opinion, gloves should be changed between orders to prevent cross-contamination and maintain proper food-handling practices. I've been to many different pizza places and have never experienced this before. The lack of communication and attention to basic food-safety practices was extremely disappointing. I arrived before it got busy, which made the experience even better, and I was in and out quickly. The space is large, clean, and well-maintained. I am surprised to see so many bad reviews for this location. My experience here was very nice. I have some dietary restrictions and the manager of the branch was nice enough to even wipe the knife before cutting my pizza just to make sure I don't get even a hint of thing that I don't want. I like going to blaze and ordering make your own pizza esp coz you can add as many toppings as you can. I love eating veggies and multiple toppings and blaze solve my cravings. I was asking the team to add more and they were happily doing so. Similar number of meats and toppings would cost atheist double in any other pizza chain. Okay let's say this is not normal behavior from any blaze employee that I have ever encountered. I do know from experience that this location has very weird rules when it comes to the food and what they can and can't do. I am a regular at the seal beach location and only drive to this one when my autistic son wants blaze pizza as it is one of his safe foods. He eats it about once every three days. Okay so know that you have a tiny bit of information I walk in they are busy with on line order no problem. The lady tells me she will be a min I tell her no problem (I use the restroom and come back). She tells me the he would help me (a young man named Cody found out when I asked because they don't wear name tags). I tell him I want a two topping pizza he asked if I wanted a drink (pointing at the special 2 topping with drink for 10) to which I answer no. He makes a little huh then continues to write on the order and asks for a name I say Andrew (my autistic son loves to see his name on the order) he looks at me funny and then I tell him I want it cooked medium. He looks at me says what does that mean - I look at him darker than light but not cooked all the regular time. Another customer comes in he takes his & I tell him they could go first because they had a simple order. He did their order; then back to me. He then asked sauce "no sauce" he puts a tiny bit of mozzarella cheese then vegan he then asks about topping I say um get I get more vegan cheese right there in the space where there is not cheese. I asked for more cheese twice in which on the second time he told me that he would have to charge me for more toppings- which I said okay I am telling you how I want the pizza he steps back and tells at me you don't have to eat here. To which I answer "it isn't for me" the other employee tells him to go get Nada ask her. The manager comes out makes the pizza gets a little frustrated when I explain the pepperoni the I didn't realize that she under charged me. I tell her she should have charged me for a two topping not a one. Like okay the last time this happened I haven't been into that blaze location since. So this is no longer a good place as an alternative when my location of seal beach is closed. We've been mega-fans of this Blaze location forever. The staff is awesome, and the food and pricing are perfect. This is a busy spot with a big gym and Fountain Bowl on either side. Order online to avoid sudden crowds, or come and wait your turn to create a pizza in person. With all the foot traffic, the food is fresh and the service is terrific. Not sure what's up with the haters in the comments. Sometimes people project their own inadequacies. Sometimes life isn't perfect, and it's easy to criticize others. The rest of the 3 just stood back without helping to expedite the process. I ordered online and they had to remake my order because it was wrong. I noticed the employee handing out the orders (the one that seemed to be new) knew my order was wrong because she kept opening it and looking back at the ingredients but still handed it to me hoping I wouldn't realize. If you know it was wrong why don't you communicate that with the customer. It took us 45 minutes to finally get our order. read more

What can I say, Blaze Pizza is delicious. Pie is always the right choice and it's nice to see how they've expanded over the years. I've enjoyed the Classic many times in the past but my new favorite is Build Your Own Pizza (11 inch) $13.99, High-Rise Dough +$5.50, Red Sauce, White Cream Sauce, Spicy Red Sauce, Garlic Pesto Sauce, Shredded Mozzarella, Ricotta, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Grilled Chicken, Fresh Basil, Mushrooms, Red Onions, Spinach, Oregano, Parmesan, Crushed Red Pepper and Buttermilk Ranch on the Side $19.49. This is not a pizza-by-the-slice type of place. I used to go out of my way to get it but now I don't have to since this one opened near me over five years ago. The High-Rise Dough is a good example of American-style pizza, too thick to be New York, not thick enough to be Detroit, but an in-between yet is not reminiscent of Italian. It's like taking all the regional pizzas of America and combining them. The High-Rise Dough tastes really similar to pan pizza, which I love. Since you are getting more dough, it'll cost you more, but worth it and will go a little further than a Classic. High-Rise Dough takes a tad longer to cook, however, not significant. Don't get me wrong, the Classic Dough is still delicious. Classic Dough is similar to New York-style in terms of thinness, however, it doesn't taste anything like it. I'm not sure how to pinpoint it or what to call it but the pizza here has its own unique and delicious flavor. Build Your Own is nice so I can add whatever and how much I'd like. I like adding all the sauces, gives it more dimension. But even if you went with only red, it's packed with flavor and they don't over sauce. I love all the toppings I pick since it gives it the perfect balance of salty and savory. Their ingredients are always fresh, high-quality and don't taste processed unlike other big chains, although there's a time and place for that kind too. Their sauce to cheese to topping ratio is perfect. I love their crust, it's crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. And I love that there's a solid cornicione. Their 11-inch pizzas come with 6 slices, personal size, however, I struggle to finish it in one sitting. I usually eat two slices before I'm full but I save the rest for upcoming days, and honestly, it tastes even better since the flavors sit and marinate together. I just reheat it on a pan or air fryer. Blaze might have opened shortly after Pieology Pizzeria but they far surpass them. They're also much better than MOD Pizza. I love their commitment to sustainable food and packaging. They work to ensure their products come from animals that are raised humanely and sourced from partners practicing regenerative agriculture. Their packaging and cutlery are made from recycled materials, recyclable or biodegradable. This Blaze is located in a shopping plaza with a small free parking lot. It can get crowded at times but I've never had issues finding parking. I like to order in person but you can also order through their mobile app, however, you'd only be able to order one sauce on the app and risk them skimping on the ingredients. When ordering there, I still scan my QR code at checkout to earn rewards. The inside is modern yet casual with plenty of seating. There is also some outside seating. Service is friendly. Went here on Wednesday around 3 PM and there was no wait. My pizza was ready in five minutes. Price has definitely gone up over the years but so has everything else. Haven't had blaze pizza in years! We were in line when they got a bunch of online orders... and we had to wait for them to make 8+ online orders FIRST. We asked them why and the worker said because they chose all the toppings already... Got keto crust, which is amazing! It's very high in protein... and also fats so don't eat a lot of fats afterwards. I got half pizza and half cheesy bread... Oh man, the cheesy bread is so good hehe.
