I used to frequent this place way back in the day, when pizzas were 50% off every Tuesday. They also had a BOGO free one topping pizza deal that was great because you got two pizzas for the price of one (even though it was one that costed more than your average pizza elsewhere). I'm a member of their "club", so I receive emails as well as coupons in the mail pretty often. In such a short amount of time, the Mt Mike's chain has gone from "buy a large specialty pizza for $17.99" to "$18.99" to "get a large one topping pizza for $15.99". WHAT? That's ridiculous!!! Their BOGO free deal is long gone; that turned into "buy a large specialty pizza at full price, get a one topping pizza for $4.99" which was then raised to $5.99. Do you know how much a large specialty pizza is? Too much. And apparently a one topping pizza is $16 here WITH A COUPON. It's a shame they don't do their 50% off Tuesdays anymore. Their mountain size (bigger than a large) is about the size of a Costco pizza yet costs about $40 and they don't accept any coupons towards that pizza size. I used to love this place and would eat here every single Tuesday, but since prices skyrocketed I probably won't be back anymore. The only pizza I think is worth it is the chicken club and that's only if you have some kind of discount. I'm not trying to sound stingy because I'll pay for good food, but it's just not cool to raise your prices so much so fast when your competitors have much better prices that they DONT change & if they do, it's not so dramatic. I was very impressed by the wonderful customer service from Nece. I apologize if i'm not spelling her name correctly. Her warm and happy greeting on the phone was so delighful. I had intially called to validate a coupon, at which she agreed was valid. When I called back several hours later to place my order, she remember me. This location is on the end of a strip mall that has Marina Grocerys, CVS and McDonslds on Milpitas Blvd. Came in on a mid weekend day. Not to busy but filled with kids yelling, running and flat screen TVs thorough out the place on loud. Ordered a large specialty pizza and a small pizza with 2 sodas. I do have to say the crust was soft and delicious and toppings were fresh tasting, but I got sticker shock ... I think it was $42 and some change. I'll definetly look for coupons or groupons. I have returned to this location after 6 1/2 year break of eating at any pizza places in both Fremont and Milpitas except for this one. I guess it was good enough for a return. Guess not. The pizza was very delicious and the chicken pieces in the wings order were really good. I think I found my best alternative for wingstop and that too way closer to my place. They have pretty good pizza here; I like their thin crust. I've placed large delivery orders from this place several times for events. They have always delivered in a timely manner and all pizzas are fresh and warm. They have a nice selection of toppings and I enjoy adding a variety of mixed toppings. 1st I'd like to say I've been here many times and have always had a good experience, HOWEVER, this last time was so bad and I was treated very rudely. So last Thursday I order a pizza the guy said 25 to 30 minutes, so I go with Lin that time pick my pizza come home I live less the 3 miles away. I get hoke take 2 slice put on a plate take the table and begin to eat, this pizza was Luke warm. So I called and told then what happened the guy says let me get my manager. I explain what's happening, then he says what time did I order and it was my fault for taking too long to pick up, then he say well if you come back we can make you a new one when you get here, I livid at this point because he blamed me for not picking it up on time. So I asked for a refund he says we'll them bring the pizza back so I did and he still blamed me for not picking it up on time is why it was cold. favorite "fast food" pizza chain hands down. I love this place so much and I am saddened that I discovered it only about a year ago. Their ingredients? Fresh Their service? Excellent Their deals? Insane I have never been disappointed with a pizza here. Their medium is humongous and though pricey (around 20 bucks) it is so worth it. I like how they slice their pizzas into tinier slices that way it seems like there's more. I get the snowy alps cause I love the white sauce they use. They got the perfect sauce to dough ratio and always hook it up with toppings. Never skimping out on a single pepperoni you feel me? My brother gets the cheese and I'm not a big cheese pizza fan but mountain mikes makes it look good. Also, my dad and I love going to their lunch buffet. What a deal. It's around 7-8 dollars for unlimited pizza and a salad bar. The selections are very wide ranging as well, it ain't like two pepperoni pizzas and a cheese or something. We had a graduation party here after we completed the degree program, all the graduates enjoyed the food. Completing a three year degree program makes you feel wanted by family and friends. X amount of students and Y amount of instructors made our future brighter. I live closeby here, so each time I flew to California I came here for a pizza and drink. We even bought pizzas diferent times while our classes were in progress, the instructors allowed our class to enjoy the pizzas giving us breaks. I learnt electronic circuits and how to build circuits and test them till an originally invented circuit worked by interchanging the components. Since my kid does not like artichoke and tomatoes - I asked to substitute the topping with onion and jalapenos. They said it would be just extra $2 per topping. I asked to talk to the manager and offcourse he was not available. Did not understand the logic on why they don't allow substitutions (other locations have honored my request). Overall adequate quality. I used to order pizza from this Mountain Mikes fairly often. Unfortunately, as of late the quality of service and food has been substandard. I like the Mountain Mike's Pizza chain and will probably return here to see if I should change my review but currently, this is my review. The service was rather slow and gave a bit of a hard time to my mother, although she doesn't speak the best english. I would have liked that they could be a bit more friendly when taking our order. Just from their tone of voice, it seemed like they were trying to get us out as quick as possible, and not in the way you would think considering there was no one else in line. After ordering, we asked for some cups of water but they gave my sister a hard time about it. When the pizza arrived, they were not gentle with putting our pizza on our table and for the most part tossed it down and walked away. Realistically speaking if you're going to order a pizza and it's going to be delivered to a table, from a customer service perspective, you may want to put a smile on and put the pizza down enthusiastically. It just seemed like the worker didn't want to be there. Overall experience was pretty mediocre. I really expected a lot since I've been there before quite a few times. I've visited this Mountain Mikes locations a handful of times. We recently came for my Little League team's end of the year party and had a great experience. A few days before the party we called to let them know our large group was coming. The staff that took our reservation was friendly and informative with the process. When we arrived we had a large section of the restaurant reserved with signs on each table. The staff member greeted me as we arrived, and showed us our tables. I ordered pizza for the team and that same staff person helped me "navigate" the menu to find the best price options to feed 13 hungry kiddos. Then after finding the great deals he gave us 20% off the order! Awesome! Not just any Mtn. Mike's pizza though. No, no, no, I'm referring to the ever so exotic and mouth-watering Pineapple Chicken Luau (PCL) specialty pizza. Because the family always orders from this joint, we've always got coupons lying around. So for 16.99 I get a large PCL pie all to my lonesome... muah ha ha.. Unless of course I'm feeling rather generous and decide to unleash the pie to the household. It's amazing how a delicious pie can evoke such primitive savagery out of humans. Delivery takes about 45-50 minutes and the pizza always arrives fresh and gooey with a crispy crust. Side note: Mtn. Mike's, please PLEASE stop running out of BBQ sauce! Don't get me wrong, I really like Mountain Mike's Pizza but just not the one located in Milpitas. I used to come here with my coworkers for their lunch buffets since it was a really good deal but no longer. The reason being that they don't bring out the pizzas fast enough. They wait for you to get full off of the salad and bread sticks. And we all noticed that the quality of their pizzas getting really bad...lacking sauce, etc. Perhaps due to change in ownership/management. On another occasion, I ordered 2 large pizzas for a dinner party. One was a veggie (which was okay) and another was a supreme. The supreme was just awful - the crust was under baked and there was hardly any sauce!!! C'mon, the sauce makes the pizza..dont' skimp out!! All pizzerias should know better than that. Anyhow, I won't be going back there ever again. I'd rather go to another Mountain Mikes in Santa Clara or Round Table down the street.
