We stumbled upon this pizza place as we were famished after a shopping expedition! We got two pizzas (supreme for the friends who are meat eaters, and a very yummy curry pizza). We also got the garlic knots and the onion rings. They customize the garlic knots without garlic because one of our friend doesn't enjoy as much garlic, so it was really nice that they actually went over and above to do that! See the pictures. Every thing we ordered was truly tasty. To say that it's delicious is an understatement. The sizes are generous. It's 18 inch, and we got plenty of it to take home. The ambience is cozy and hygienic. Went here for pizza but like all places, I first checked the health dept score before ordering. Oh. My. God. There were just shut down for Roaches Infestation! YIKES! We've enjoyed Colosseum New York Pizza in the past, so after hearing there was new ownership, we were hoping the pizza and overall experience would be just as good as before. Unfortunately, my recent pickup experience was disappointing. When I arrived, the place was empty and quite warm. I let the lady know I was there for a pickup order and was immediately told to "shhh" and wait while an order was being taken on speaker phone by the man boxing a pizza. Once he was done taking the customer's order, I let her know my order and asked for plates, cheese, and pepper for a large pizza and was given only TWO of each. Even after asking for more, I received just ONE additional plate. The pizza itself was OK, but at about $42 for a large pizza, I expected better service. We've always enjoyed this place, but honestly, based on this experience, it's no longer one of our top choices for pizza. read more

The problem is I could eat like 10 of these slices so I prob should've just got a whole pizza, so thin and easy to eat. I think the other popular pizza spot near by cuts a bigger slice and could be around the same price, this was $7.60, both are good. Large pizza pie - half "combo" and "all meat" ($38): the pizza was borderline overly salty with all of the generous toppings combined with the pizza sauce, but better than a bland pizza. This is definitely a great spot for pizza that is similar to NY/NJ. Has the same feel as an east coast pizzeria on the inside too, but just keep in mind that if you go in on a hot day, it'll be hotter inside than out. I don't think they have fans or cooling so it was pretty toasty. The staff were very friendly and my pizza slices came out quickly. I have doordash'd pizza from here a couple of times and it's definitely much much better eating it fresh there. I ordered a pizza by the slice where I got to choose my toppings I really just was not impressed by the amount of toppings that I didreceive on my one slice of pizza. I wish that they would've put a little bit more sauce and the dough flavor to me just was not great at all. Not sure if I would be returning, but I don't recommend going here for a slice of pizza. Sept 29, 2025. This place has apparently been sold several months back. I had bought the calzone, stromboli and cheese pizza several times. #1Cheese pizza seems the same. Which is good cause I like their pizza #2 The stromboli and calzone has liquid leaking out *most* of the times I ordered. #3 stromboli size has generally been a bit smaller (8 inch) except my last order had the usual size (Around 12 inches - see my photo). Coincidentally, I saw the former owner (old italian man) there that day helping to make the food. Maybe they are getting another round of training? Either way, it was a welcome sight to see an old familiar face....even though he probably doesn't know who the hell I am. Oh one other rant....they were nearly one 1hr late in making my Uber eats ordered. My order wasn't printed and they had to look it up. Just told me it going to take 10 minutes more but ended up taking a bit longer. I saw them literally make later it after I asked about it twice about it. Please consult my prior reviews. This place was truly phenomenal, under its original ownership. Pizzas particularly made by former co-owner Tony Sciarrino [a guy from Bensonhurst Brooklyn who has made pizzas for most of his life since he was young @ places like Pizzeria da Vinci from NY] were always exceptional in quality. The ones made by his brother-on-law and former co-owner Dino were also pretty top-notch as well and both managed to hire people who were able to maintain the same level of quality for as long as they owned/ran the place. This place used to be the BEST (even better than places I've had throughout several buroughs AND cities in NY - again see my prior reviews) especially between 2011 through pre-Pandemic Era. Now? The product has degraded significantly in quality as crafted by the current ownership. Despite that, I believe the current owners can still salvage this if they devote the time to get the dough situated properly, continue to source the signature ingredients from the same original sources, and maintain the same care/level of craftsmanship required via the original recipes. I want th' new management to succeed and believe they can if they take these crucial steps to do so. read more
