We started coming here for soccer game parties at the end of the season a couple of years back. We come now frequently enough and enjoy the delicious, quality pizzas, wings, salad bar etc. The staff is always super sweet and apply coupons every now and then, when we forget to bring ours. Today, 3/30, my daughter asked if they still had heart shaped pizzas, but we had already preordered our Pizza. They said that we could still order them with a little bit of notice next time. As we sat and ate, the front staff came out, and gave my daughter a heart shaped pizza out of pure kindness. Great family restaurant, that checks all boxes for me ! I've been coming here over 4 yrs, and it's one of my faves in the area. Food is always cooked throughly and ingredients are fresh. Their lunch bar never disappoints and you even get asked preferred pizza toppings. What really makes this a is the support they show for the community when it mattered. Raman (store manager) agreed for a special price for XL pizzas in support of the teachers strike. They honor the deal for as many days on strike. This of course, only during strike/school hours. Their pepperoni is next-level, with those crispy little cups full of flavor that you can't find anywhere else. Pizza is pretty hard to mess up but the customer service for it is even harder to mess up. I ordered 2 pizzas and wanted to try the apple dessert. I asked about the dessert and the response I got was " it's not a pizza, it's a dessert." I waited a reasonable amount of time to come back and find my pizza not in the warmer like the other patrons, rather on the countertop near the register. The employee only heard 1 pizza vs the 2 I ordered so I left with 1 cold pizza and a "dessert" that was essentially a cheese pizza with apples. read more

I'm a diehard fan of the chicken club pizza, so I order it at early location. There was a birthday party in the party room here, which felt inviting to be eating next to. The service was very polite, they did ask me to make this review, but I truly had a great sit eating pizza while reading my book. If you like Mountain Mikes, this is the warmest location I've been to. It's so refreshing to see an active one. The one I live next to in San Rafael is much smaller, with less visitors. I don't feel as comfortable to just sit and enjoy my pizza there. A booth makes a big difference. read more

I grew up on Mountain Mike's Pizza as there were a few locations on the peninsula. Used to love the quality and how perfect the pies were. However I've ordered twice from this location and both times were just not good at all. This last time I ordered just a simple large pepperoni pizza. It was extremely dry, couldn't find the sauce, the cheese was not stretchy and melty and looked like leftover pizza. The little pepperonis were plentiful but beyond crispy, to point of slightly hard to chew on. And boy, were the pepperoni extremely salty. Everyone commented how thirsty they were after. We picked the pizza up within 20 min of ordering. So it is not like it sat for hours. Had similar experience with another order at this location. read more

So their owner Roman saved the day. We had ordered two pizzas and a sandwich they have on the menu, we've ordered it before so it seemed easy. Well when the sandwich arrived to the table it was open faced and pretty burnt. It was not the sandwich we ordered so we let the cashier know and gave it back and asked for our correct sandwich. Their employee said they nomlonger carried that one sandwich??? That was odd, since they definitely have it on menu, have it on a poster in the window and their website clearly has it for ordering. We showed the employees the website and he said that isn't our location, well it was, address shows it. So we got our money back but still felt confused about why they didn't make that anymore. So after half hour and we were actually about to leave. I got up spoke to the owner who asked me if everything was ok. I explained what happened, he said to me. We have the sandwich we can make it now and then asked who we spoke with before. After pointing out the employees,they had a quick chit chat and made sure they understood there is not any place for employees that do not make the customers complete. I found out that employee gave my wife a mean look as she passed him in the hallway. Super strange but that won't stop us from supporting this location. I live around the corner but will continue to go to the one on San Pablo dam rd! Stopped going here years ago because of their cheapness is really off putting. We decided to come here yesterday after many years to try again, thinking maybe they have changed and nope not at all. I put our order in and asked for a mini with white sauce because my son does not eat red sauce. I know 100% I said white sauce. Well here comes his pizza with red sauce so I take it back up and say I asked for white sauce on the mini. The girl says look at your receipt it doesn't say that and I said "the receipt doesn't say it because you forgot to put that in" so then the guy comes from the back and they start arguing in another language and he says bring it back I'll make it. So ok I'm happy they'll redo it but then they bring my son out a micro mini half assed pizza. Oh and my husband wanted a little bit of jalepenos and she came to the table to ask how much we wanted and I said only my husband like a couple and she says "ok because if it's more we're charging you". Ummm ok. You stay being cheap and we'll continue to drive further down to the one in el sobrante.
