From open until 3 p.m. diners can order a Personal Signature Pizza either Deep Dish or Thin Crust for only 11 dollars. You can also build your own personal pizza for 9 dollars which is an affordable option. My fellow dining mate and I knew we wanted to select from their Seasonal Specials or their Signature Pies. I decided to order their Personal size All-Star Signature Pie, which was topped with bacon, meatballs, sausage, pepperoni, provolone cheese and served on their signature cornmeal crust, then filled with mozzarella cheese and house-made tomato sauce & finished with parmesan & oregano. My dining mate was intrigued by their Specials menu, and their Personal size Sweet Heat, which was topped with spicy sausage, caramelized red onions, cherry peppers, hot honey and served on their signature cornmeal crust, then filled with mozzarella cheese and house-made tomato sauce & finished with parmesan & oregano. Since both pizzas were so affordable at 11 dollars each, we decided to splurge and order two dessert drinks as I ordered their Golden Gate Orange Soda Float and my dining mate ordered their Dad's Root Beer Soda Float. The wait for our personal size pizzas would be a lengthy one, at least twenty minutes, which for about a nine inch pizza pie, is still a considerable amount of time. But once you do get the pizzas you order, I can report it is well worth the wait, as the pizza has that extra special graininess to it that makes it extra special good. Combined with the fresh tomatoes and an abundance of mozzarella cheese, you cannot go wrong with any type of pizza you order. I liked my All-Star pizza pie with its abundance of meat toppings and I tried my dining mates Sweet Heat pizza pie and it came as delivered as it has a combination of sweetness meets spiciness. Luckily our wait wasn't too long, as we had our ice cream and soda floats to keep us satiated while we waited for our pizzas to be handcrafted. Our total bill was $42.08, which was with tax but before gratuity, which in all reality was very reasonable considering we ordered two rather large personal deep dish pizzas, and our floats were a mere fraction less in terms of pricing. Since they have a Happy Hour on weeknights from 3-5:30 p.m. with reasonably priced cocktails, one-topping pizzas and other menu items at affordable pricing, you better believe it will not be another decade that passes by before I make another appearance. Whenever we crave pizza, we come straight to this Mountain Mike's to dine in . They have comfortable booths, very clean and spacious, and never too crowded. Pizza doesn't take too long , and most importantly they don't skimp on toppings, and they don't mind accommodating our needs, like 1/4 cheese only , or 1/2 & 1/2 special combos... etc ... So far this is the Best chain pizza in Pinole in my book ! And yes, no one's perfect, so, sometimes there have been a small little hiccups like, once they were out of lids, once they told me they don't have cups for water when they visibly had paper and plactic cups stocked up at their counter which I couldn't process the reason why in my head once we were charged for 2 liter soda instead of fountain drinks ... once , while eating there we watched only one girl bussing and cleaning bunch of dirty tables , and handling all the walk-in & phone customers while couple of her guy colleagues standing behind the counter with their hands in their pockets .... But, their delicious pizza with pile high toppings would sure make you forget about all the small little minor details! read more

Had the best experience ever at a Mountain Mike's (which is always very good). Exceptional service, especially from the owner, who was so kind and flexible. We went for the midday buffet. This was my first Dave's Hot Chicken experience at the beginning of the year. While stopping at…read morenearby Trader Joe's on our way home from Lake Tahoe, saw this brand new place that had just opened up. I wasn't too familiar with Dave's so I decided to mosey on in and give them a try. (I had my second experience several weeks later, which was my first review of Dave's.) I got their chicken sliders as they come in pairs and a side of fries and some pickles. Since it was their "Grand Opening" promotion, they were offering a free side to go along with my order. I decided on the deep-fried cauliflower side they called Cauli Bites. While waiting for my order, the interior decoration inside really stands out. It's graffiti-type artwork using spray paint with vibrant colors and themes that are local to the area. It really pops and pleasant to the eyes. I also decided to do some digging about Dave's and this is what I found out: Established in 2017 in the East Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles. Childhood friends were inspired by In-N-Out and decided to do a version for fried chicken. Dave Kopushyan - the chain's namesake - worked and trained under Thomas Keller at The French Laundry and came up with the recipes. The friends scraped up $900 together and started selling them in a parking lot with a portable fryer, picnic tables and a limited menu. They were featured by food blog Eater Los Angeles, and their popularity grew by spread-of-mouth as the lines stretched around for blocks to try their menu. They eventually moved into a brick-and-mortar store in 2018, secured some deals to set for expansion and opened stores all over the country. That's pretty much there is in a nutshell and the rest is history. Oh, and let's not forget about the food. The chicken tenders are cooked exceptionally well as they are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The spice level (or lack of) is determined by your preference of your choosing so you can definitely spice things up. If you can handle the heat, then more power to you. The sides of Cauli Bites were nice....and FREE. I'mma leave it at that, but overall, I was impressed. They do chicken right and it's better than KFC. Note: After having my second Dave's experience in another location, I can definitely say they are consistent. It's good fried chicken sammich.

I liked that they don't have salsa sitting around for people to self serve, everything is handled by their staff behind the counters. I noticed their food is on the lower sodium side compared to other restaurants. I personally prefer less salt because sodium isn't good for our health and I like to put extra sauces on my Mexican food anyway. But one of my friends thought their food tasted a bit bland. Pricing wise, I thought the food was good value. Our family of 4 couldn't finish the items we ordered and had to take home a box. I cannot wait to go back for more at Que Onda!
