My husband and I have ordered food from this Mountain Mike's Pizza location many times. The pizza has been consistently good and we like that they have the mountain size pizza when feeding us and our extended family. We've dined in a few times, but I honestly can't remember the ambiance too much. I do recall them having a TV in there, so we were able to watch a couple of sports games. The service is about average. I've personally haven't had any issues with any of the staff members in the past; however, I do recall one of the young workers having an attitude with my husband when he inquired to see if they still have buffets here. The Mountain Mike's Pizza in Suisun, is by far, the worst I have ever been to. I went there at 1 o'clock for the lunch buffet that ended at 2. Supposedly All You Can Eat. Unfortunately for me, there was only 2 types of pizza available and the looked like they had been left out since they opened. Each type only had a few slices and they were not making any fresh ones. The salad bar was questionable as I noticed some of the offerings had a slimy consistency not to mention some unidentifiable things floating around in other condiments. Hubby are recent transplants to Rio Vista, and whenever we are out and about shopping, we are now in the habit of finding the closest Mtn Mikes to take a pizza home with us. We've now been to three different locations, but have been to this one Sunset twice now. We've tried the Hawaiian one and the BBQ Chicken Ranch one and LOVED both of them. Overall they were fairly friendly I would definitely go back to this mountain Mike's location. But when you ask for sauce they do stick to their one sauce per purchase. Which is not an issue because they actually tell you beforehand. But just know they're not gonna give you extras unless it's peppers but it's usual for a pizza place so I can't complain too much. Just a personal pet peeve of mine LOL. It's a nice area just a really packed shopping center. The pizza did not take very long to get done so I would definitely choose this location once more. Just came back from having their "dinner buffet" 9/11/24. After reading some previous reviews I'm convinced that they will never change how the handle their dinner buffet. Myself and my two young daughters spent more time waiting for pizza than we needed to. There was another family also waiting for pizza. I actually had to request a pepperoni pizza to be put out for us so we can hurry up and leave. I've been to this location several times and experienced the same thing at their lunch buffets but thought possibly they'd do better during dinner hours. I was wrong, in a 40 minute span the employees put out 1 small/medium pizza and 1 small/medium breadsticks. I gave this business another chance, after some space, and now, not only are they STILL ripping us off financially, they now have been scamming us on size/portions. Six of us went there to try there all you can eat pizza buffet. We had been there a month ago and had a bad experience in that they had only one pizza at a time on the buffet. We decided to try them again. 2nd time, even worse. The salad was all warm and wilted. There were 5 or 6 other people there also getting the buffet. Gross and disgusting, but figured he was fairly young and didn't get the optics or safety so i nicely said something after he tucked my receipt half INSIDE the pizza box so it was touching the crust (so his glove touched the bathroom, the chemicals, then the receipt that touched the pizza). He wanted to argue with me saying "I didn't touch nothing nasty in the bathroom yet" and "I touched the box, you don't eat the box". i tried to explain that chemicals drip down the outside of the bottle so by even just carrying the chemicals and touching food areas, its not a good look, he failed to see my point. i want to give 1 star but am giving 2 because of past visits. read more

Did you know if you ordered a pizza with one side with different toppings you only get half of what you paid for. When I question the Manager his answer was that's how its rings up on the register. OK so I've been ordering from mountain mikes since the first day they open this location. I usually order delivery but today I had to pick up stuff from store so I placed my order on yelp and went and did my stuff. Well I walked in after 32 mins of placing my order. The cashier needs more training. She was going to have me pay for an order that was already paid for. The other three girls also didn't know what was going on. Finally she went and grabbed the white shirt guy which I assume is the manager. He showed her how it works and how I had already paid. I was then told my order was almost ready. 20 minutes later I still don't have my food. So they are fully staffed. I count at least 10 heads if not more. They are super friendly and the place is semi clean ( yet its busy) U finally got my food and it smells great . the pizza has always tasted GREAT here. But the breaded stuff like jalapeño peppers and stuff taste froze and like they didn't thaw out good. Wings are on the dry side. Came in for a lunch break (30 min) and it took more than that to get more than one pizza out on the buffet table. No one at the counter or in the back speaks English so the customer service is nonexistent. When I ordered an ice cream cone the lady at the counter tried to give me the DISPLAY WAFFLE CONE THAT HAS BEEN UP FOR MONTHS with no gloves. When I tried to get my refund, they looked like they had no idea what to do, and made me wait while they made a phone call. Mind you all this was in the middle of lunch and there was only a few other people in the restaurant at the time. Mountain mike's is one of my favorite pizza places...so I was super excited about this location opening up around my house.. place is always clean. Staff is super friendly. The location has 3 Tv's in the main dining room usually with different sports for everyone to enjoy. They also offer a private room that I believe could be rented for a party.. Pizza comes out nice and hot with a crisp of perfection.. pepperoni and the Everest (combination) are my family favorites...The pizza taste even better with their salad bar. For dessert they have an ice cream bar and cookie pizza. They have an awesome lunch buffet.
