Came in for happy hour. Staff was fairly nice. I got the wings, fries and pickle fries and steamed clams (not on the happy hour). Everything was just ok. The garlic parm wings were better than the lemon pepper. It was saucy and had a good flavor while the lemon pepper needed more seasoning. The wings were well done which I like but wasn't very crunchy. The fries were fresh but very plain and bland, same with the clams. We came here on a Saturday morning not long after they opened. We were the first customers of the day, and actually ended up being the only ones dining at the restaurant when there. But the ambiance is nice with the bar area and how the dining room is set up. Seems like a good place to take your family for a meal or catch a game. We started off with fried calamari. The outside crisp was perfect and tender to the bite. My Philly Cheesesteak was very tasty. The bread was fresh, the meat was very juicy, and the peppers and onions were nice compliments. She went with the Chicken Tortellini which was very creamy with and delicious. The sundried tomatoes added a nice flair to the dish too. If we came here on a regular basis, the both of us could see us ordering our respective dishes again. Oscar was very courteous and made sure we were taken care of. I had two drinks--both solid--and ordered the birria pizza and the sea bass. The birria pizza was loaded with flavor, crispy, and just flat-out delicious. Came here for a work related lunch. I was greeted right away. U can sit wherever u like. The waiter gave me water right away while I waited for my coworkers. Bryant was a great server. He said it was his second day working solo. He was friendly and creative. He made our table and the other table little shots of club soda with peach and watermelon flavor. I ordered a full size of his random creation. The grilled octopus on top of fries were good. The fries were perfectly crispy. The octopus was good. It didn't even need sauce on it. I don't think I've ever been yelled at from across the room to pick any seat, but okk that's fine. We had an early dinner on a Saturday evening and we were pleasantly surprised at how empty it was. It's a giant space with multiple tv screens and I can see how cool this place could be for happy hour and chillin' with friends. As far as the food goes, we thought it was okay... nothing really amazing that would make me come back. Got "The Shepard" pizza specifically for the al pastor. It was good but all the ingredients kind of over-powered the meat so it wasn't the al pastor we were looking for. The crust lacked flavor. We also got the spinach cranberry salad, which again, was ok but nothing special. I wish they had chopped the walnuts a little bit instead of leaving them in huge pieces. We liked the fried zucchini and calamari. Our server was super nice and was very accommodating to our 9 month old. I stopped by 1933 Kitchen & Bar for lunch because I saw they had a chicken Philly on the menu, which can be surprisingly hard to find since most places only offer the traditional beef version. I ordered the chicken Philly and specifically asked for no mayo, which was also noted on my receipt. I also asked for jalapeños because the menu listed "hot and sweet peppers," but the server said those were more like bell peppers. The fresh jalapeños ended up being an extra $1.50. Unfortunately, the sandwich arrived with mayo on both sides of the bread. I was already very hungry and getting a headache, so instead of sending it back and waiting again, I tried scraping most of it off. Even after that, the sandwich was still very heavy. There was also a lot of melted cheese that tasted closer to an American or Cheez-Whiz style cheese rather than something milder like provolone or Swiss, which made the sandwich very wet and overly rich. I ended up eating less than half of the sandwich before giving up on it. The garlic fries were decent, though they were very thin shoestring fries and the portion looked larger than it actually was because they were spread out across the tray. The pickle on the side was very soft and soggy and had an unusual mix of dill and sweet flavors, so I only took one bite. To the server's credit, when she saw that I wasn't taking the sandwich to go and mentioned the mayo issue, she gave me 20% off the bill, which I appreciated. However, since more than half of the sandwich went uneaten due to the mistake, a larger adjustment might have felt more appropriate. Overall, the experience was pretty average ("meh"), and while the staff was polite, the food itself didn't live up to expectations. I probably wouldn't return on my own. read more

The mescal in his Mule and the cinnamon rum in the rocket were absolute show stoppers. We followed the cocktails with appetizers. He ordered stuffed jalapeños. The jalapeños were good were, but pretty basic. I ordered the seared octopus with potatoes and it was surprisingly delicious. Extremely tender and the Cajun spices, which are not usually my favorite, were different than usual in the absolute best way. We fallow our cocktails and appetizers with a pizza; half birria and half el pastor. The crust was super crispy on the outside and surprisingly fluffy in the middle. I am not a pizza person but this magical concoction I look forward to returning for. With the pizza we each had anothe libation. He had a beer and I had a cider. Both drinks were on tap, and so good. I am very picky and it is hard for me to give 5 star reviews. Honestly I am looking forward to returning to 1933. In my opinion it was a Home Run! 10 out of 10! If you haven't been to 1933 please go. We've come here over and over again. It's not as intimate as I'd like it to be and it gets cold inside. The service is hit or miss. They get busy lot and they definitely need more servers. We've dined here several times, and the food is always excellent, as is the service. The only suggestion I have is to consider adding some sound-dampening to the space. With the high ceilings, concrete floors, and bare walls, it can get extremely loud when the restaurant is busy, making it difficult to have a conversation. Another small recommendation would be to offer fresh-brewed iced tea, as the iced tea from the bar gun isn't quite the same. I'm always excited for new food options in my town, especially when it's being recommended by so many on social media. Sadly, the food itself, didn't live up to the hype for us. What we ordered: Garlic bread, Oski's Spicy Burger medium rare (with broccoli cheddar soup as the side), The Cowboy Burger medium (with fries), Alfredo, and the Spicy Romano Chicken Pasta. The garlic bread came out as an appetizer (as we requested) and it was lacking garlic flavor, not a great start. My husband said his cowboy burger just ok, the fries were good though. I did ask for a side of ranch for the fries and come to find out we were charged $1 for that! Who charges for ranch!?? My Oski's burger was pretty good. Very juicy however, I wouldn't say it was cooked to medium rare as there was absolutely no pink in the middle. My broccoli cheddar soup was not good at all. All 4 of us tasted it and could agree that something tasted off. Almost like it was old and had been cooking all day. My youngest got the alfredo which was very bland, she ate maybe 3 bites. My oldest got the spicy romano chicken pasta which was probably the only thing that I'd say was really good and had tons of flavor. The service was good and the restaurant itself had a nice ambiance. Location is updated inside good amount of seating and an L shaped fully stocked bar. Came here on the advice of a family member to get the passion fruit margarita. We ordered passion fruit margaritas, espresso martini, Paloma, whiskey sour, and beers. For food we ordered mozzarella sticks, chicken wings, Caesar salad, potato skins, fries, and pepperoni pizza. I cannot remember her name but the lady bartending both times we came was also our waitress. The restaurant was fairly empty so she was fast and attentive and makes a great cocktail! I'd absolutely recommend the passion fruit marg if you are a person big on flavor but I did think the price was pretty steep for a small glass of marg on the rocks. That being said they were absolutely delicious. Wasn't a fan of the Paloma but the whiskey sour was also good and I was able to sample a few beers before picking a great IPA. Regarding food I'd recommend the mozzarella sticks and the happy hour pizza was a great shareable item and reheats really well. Our first time at this local gem. My friends and I were looking for a place to dine after a spa day. Our server was great and explained all the specials- they had quite a few! After scrolling through yelp I was very surprised by the pictures, I had to try the pizza. Tonight, September 25, 2025 was the worst ever that I have to share about this unacceptable experience. Our first time to this bar restaurant and really had high hopes, because the fish on fire restaurant next door is amazing. However right off the bat, when we were let in to have free seating, a server approached which turns out to be the bartender and handed us menus and was fast talking that we had to slow her down about her mentioning the soup special, which was broccoli and cheddar. she didn't take any orders but just gave us that information and said she'll be back for our drinks and/or appetizers. A few minutes later, she comes back and was ready to take out drinks/appetizers. I said my drink and as the other party of my table was asking about a main course, she interrupted and said "well, I'm just taking drinks and appetizers right now". .... I really should have just stopped the whole evening and left but we didn't. I gave her the benefit of the doubt. But in hindsight, the restaurant was less than half full (actually when we walked in, there were only people on the bar, we were the only ones on the regular tables) and really there's no need for that type of attitude or rush from a costumer service point of view, particularly when it was our first time and trying to get to know the place. The bartender with the glasses, dark hair and what appeared to be a quarter genuine smile may have had better days but tonight, it was memorable for us for all the wrong reasons. On top of that, the food reflected the service. The grilled octopus with the description of Cajun seasoning was horrid. It is French Fries with octopus and buffalo sauce. I would never wish for anyone to dare to try this combination but we did, and quickly wished we didn't. Only on a couple of bites and ate more French fries than the octopus or buffalo sauce. A different server came and took our order, and she was friendlier unlike the other individual (which was the bartender). However, the rest of the food that we ordered even though we tried to go conservative seeing how the appetizer was, both pasta and pizza were blah. We're not coming back. read more

Made a reservation for Friday Night but didn't need it, the place was maybe half full. We had pizza and raviolis not bad but not great either, the food hit the middle of the road. We had a couple of drinks the Shamrock Slam and a Paper Plane those were just okay too. They just opened a couples months ago so I had no expectations. We came in on a whim and have absolutely NO regrets! This restaurant was not busy at all, super kid friendly, clean, and new. The women's restroom had a koala kare changing table. The hand wash stations are outside the restroom. The service was great and quick! The food was delicious. My daughter ordered kids pasta with butter and cheese. She actually finished the pasta which is rare! We ordered the super combo pizza, Philly cheesesteak sandwich, and rib eye. 1st time trying this place out. It's directly next to The Lawler Apartments. Reasonably sized restaurant with very high ceilings so it can get really loud in there. They have a nice bat area with 3 big screen TVs. We were promptly seated and specials provided as well as waters and menus. The price was a bit high but the quality of food is excellent. The jalapeno dip for the calamari had just the right amount of spice. I swear every bite of my pasta had a good chunk of chicken in it. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for our awhile. Came in with our service dog and was told first that no animals allowed. My husband is Deaf Im HOH/ADHD the dog is trained to respond to us and help us. Then was told we had to talk to manager. We stood at door for at least 10 minutes. My dog in sit stay. Was approached a couple of times apologizing for the wait. Then was asked if the manager came to talk to us. She gestures that she can seat us while we wait. She sat us in the back next to kitchen. We were not sure if we were just bring ushered here to talk to the manager but she brought menus and took drink orders. Food. One complaint is the clam chowder was cold. She said it was the last bowl. I wonder if they had turned off the heat that was keeping it warm too early. Ordered chocolate brownie and tiramisu for dessert. Both in house. It's great to see a new restaurant edition in Suisun City. This location is located in the new development on the opposite side of the up and coming Tractor Supply Co off highway 12. When I first heard about their grand opening, I knew I was interested in trying something new and this place certainly delivered that. The outside has tinted windows, which is great because I can only imagine how hot it could get during the summer, so don't let that mislead you into thinking they're closed. The inside has an open floor concept from the dining area to the bar. Noise can escalate but it wasn't a big deal for me. The way the main doors are located, sometimes the wind will make it hard to open but a little muscle grant you a grand entrance. We tried a variety of items and was complimented with an additional appetizer. Here's what we ordered: Battered cheese sticks with marinara sauce Garlic Bread sticks Fried Calamari with aioli (add a little salt to the calamari and it was delicious) Tutta carne pizza w/o mushrooms and onions Mas birria por favor We were able to eat the majority of the appetizers while our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and ordered two pizzas. The birria pizza was so good I dipped it in the aioli sauce and it made my night! The owner and bartender was great. The mix cocktails were a hit!
