Literally the best pizza we have ever had! We walked in to order and we ordered 4 pizzas. The man behind the counter (I really wish I would have gotten his name) was soooo sweet. He gave us a free 2 liter a ton of free ranch and he heard us talking about staying in a hotel so he also gave us paper plates, cups and napkin all on his own! The service was top tier! The place is cute nothing too special about the ambiance but there is a good amount of space and it wasn't loud or anything! Pretty basic pizza joint by looks but not by taste. The kids got a pepperoni and a ham and pineapple and we got a veggie and a paneer pizza. All 4 were incredible even the picky kids said it was the best pizza they have ever had and they know pizza! I know we will go here anytime we are in the area! Some of their pizzas are not the "norm" but I encourage you to try them. You will not be disappointed! read more

Kids wanted pizza and we wanted something different while in Fairfield so we stumbled across Indian Star! Good reviews and had indoor dining. We appreciate mom and pop shops and love supporting them. So many options on the menu, but we tried to stay focused with what we ordered. They had Indian inspired pizzas but could also do regular pizzas which were perfect for our kids. They split a small pizza (half cheese, half pep with pineapple) - they loved it and the cheese was perfectly gooey! We ordered the butter chicken pizza (so flavorful with some heat), buffalo chicken wings, and some vegetable samosas (a bit too dry and starchy for me and the dough was very soft - not crisp). My favorite was the pizza and I have no idea what the green sauce is made of, but it's amazing! Afterwards the kids got some ice cream and the gentleman was so generous. My cousin loved the pizza so much he wanted to order another for to go even though we still had pizza leftover (which were gone in an instant for lunch the next day)! Ordered a chicken tikka masala pizza and it was decent. Lots of chicken and veggies. I do feel like the flavor, maybe sauce was lacking something but I can't deny they are generous with portions and the chicken is very nice and juicy. They do put an overwhelming amount of veggies so if that's not your thing maybe ask them to modify it. Otherwise I'd possibly go back. Check them out. read more

The Indian pizzas are just so good! The combination of flavors are spectacular and pairs so well with the green dipping sauce they give you. I would order jars of that sauce if they offered it. The traditional pizza is really good as well. They offer a carry out special for a large or extra large pepperoni pizza which is appreciated and It also looks like they offer lunch specials which I'll be back to take advantage of! Oh yeah, I almost forgot about this spot. This family owned place great for so many reasons. The atmosphere is relaxed, clean, and crisp with a family feel to the spot. Service is always great with everything feeling done with love and purpose. The pizza are always good and satisfying with so much flavor. Their american pizzas are up to par. Recommend by locals, so I was excited to try out Indian pizza after hearing about it. I've never had it before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I've had chicken tikka masala itself before however. It's not comparable to the actual curry itself but the flavor of the curry was definitely there. You can taste it. I'm a fan of spices. I like Indian food and I like American pizza, so putting the two together just goes. Pizza was loaded with toppings and packed. I am a person who loves saucier pizzas so to me it was a little dry. That's just to me, however, it was a balanced ratio of sauce to toppings. We had ordered this to go and pre ordered it over the phone for pick up on a Saturday night. Service was quick I'd say. I'm so happy I finally tried this place. I was craving Indian pizza for about a week before deciding to just give in to my guilty pleasures. My mouth is watering just thinking about how good this meal was. I ordered a Large Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza- Spicy and Buffalo Wings (10pc). Once you have Indian Pizza, I feel like you just can't go back to regular pizza. The flavor will never be the same. ANYWAYS, both the pizza and chicken wings were delicious. I placed an order by phone and it took 20 mins for the order to be done. The pizza wasn't as spicy as I'd like but next time I'll just order extra spicy. However, the flavor was definitely there so it really wasn't a big deal that it wasn't as spicy. I like that they provide peppers and Parmesan cheese without requesting. The BEST part, they automatically applied a 15% coupon for Monday/Tuesdays. I didn't even realize until I saw the receipt. I ended up getting a large pizza for about $20 ! Not bad, not bad at all. CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA PIZZA! That's all you need to know. Jk, but not. Seriously, the BEST Indian pizza in the area. The customer service is always so friendly, on phone and when you go in to pick up. They have tables and chairs inside but it's take out only. No dine in. They automatically give you a few packets of crushed red pepper and parm cheese without you having to ask. I think that's a nice touch considering some pizza places don't offer this, or they charge you extra for it now. Every time I call my order in, they say about 20-30 min depending on the day/time I call. They have yet to be late, my pizza is always perfectly baked and hot when I pick up. TBH I wish they offered tikka masala sauce on the side for dipping! I would totally pay extra for this as an option. Even without, the pizza has so much flavor! It's loaded with veggies and big hearty chunks of chicken! SOOOO YUMMY. I always ask for them to make it spicy and they deliver. It's a good heat without even having to add crushed red pepper. A medium is $20 after tax and enough for 2-3 persons, depending on how big your appetite is. They have lots of options here (pizzas, wings, bread sticks, samosas, etc) but I can't get away from my usual order. They have a little ice cream station inside too, but it's pretty basic. A nice snack if you just want something to snack on though. read more

Nice people. Great service. 20 minutes for a 1/2 Tiki Masala & 1/2 Combo for pick up. It was delicious. Ask for the Tiki Masala to be mild, if you can't take the spiciness. Their dipping sauce also has a kick. It was our first time trying this place. We will be back to try another specialty. Sorry no photos, we were just so hungry because it smelled so good. I been como to this place for a long time I love their chicken tikka masala fyi is very spicy if you can't do really spicy like me you can always ask for it mild. Ordered pizza and after placing an order my 8yr old asked to use the restroom and was denied the use. He said not for public use even though they have dine in. And he didn't even say sorry I can't he straight out said no and was rude. Before there was Twisted Pizza, there was Star Pizza mixing Indian flavors and spices with good pizza dough. Every few months, I treat myself to a butter chicken pizza taken out and eaten at my leisure at work. The guy working here has always made the pick-up easy and he knows it's to his benefit to make sure that the customer leaves happy. There's not much to the inside, so take out is encouraged. read more

After the 2nd slice my mouth was on fire so beware. Samosas had only potato filling, but nice flavor and the sauce they give you was okay, not sure what's in it. I've never had Indian pizza before, and I'm happy to say that it's delicious! I suppose since a lot of Indian food is eaten with flatbread, the cuisine on pizza dough is a good match. I got the mini Chicken Tikka Masala pizza, and it was a steal at only $10! There was definitely enough food for me, the ingredients were high quality and the slight spice gave the pizza a fun kick. One of my favorite foods is pizza and whenever I have a craving out of town I like to look up what my fellow Yelpers think is a good place in the area I'm staying at. They did not let me down this time. We ordered a large Garlic Combination and some breadsticks for delivery and both were hot and delicious. Pizza was loaded with toppings and breadsticks were super cheesy. They had so many options to choose from too I wish we had a group of people to feed so I could try more flavors but only the two of us we couldn't even finish it all and had leftovers for the next day. First time checking them out and absolutely love LOVE the pizzas! We ordered a cheese pizza, butter chicken pizza, and a veggie pizza. The pizzas had the perfect amount of toppings and the crust wasn't too much breading which was cooked perfect!! I loved the butter chicken! It had the perfect amount of heat; not too spicy or kick with the perfect bite of veggies and meat. We also picked up their ice cream: pistachio, butter pecan, and mango which was the perfect treat! Ordered through door dash... would never order again. Both bread sticks and pizza were raw. Called the store and was told by the manager that their pizza is a "soft dough" I explained that it was raw and wet and the toppings fell off and he again stated that's how the pizzas are and the toppings fell off because I got the combination. Not sure how people give 5 stars for wet and soggy pizza. Got full refund from door dash read more

The temperature of the hot fudge was barely warm, it seemed as though it was just slightly above the ice cream temperature. I don't know what I was eating, but it was extremely disappointing trip. While we were there, a lady came in with her little boy looking for ice cream cookie sandwiches. Of course, she also struck out. Then she saw the chocolate chip cookie and ice-cream pie and asked for one of those. When she was handed the box, she realized it was not made with a big chocolate chip cookie, but a big brownie. She asked if she could have one with the cookie instead of the brownie. Well, of course they didn't have any, she reluctantly agreed to take the brownie version of the ice-cream pie. So, I guess the moral of the story is, if you're already having a bad day and want to take it to the next level, this is your place. They will have nothing you want, you will buy something you don't actually want and then be deeply disappointed. Try Dairy Queen.

I normally dont leave reviews but wow! They had a special going on for 20% off gourmet and indian pizzas on mondays and tuesdays. I was so surprised by how good it was. Absolutley delecious, lots of yummy toppings. They dont skimp out! I had a nice crispy medium butter chicken and large pepperoni(only6.99).
