This place is an absolute gem. First, the service was fantastic. The man behind the counter was so friendly and helpful. He was a wonderful ray of sunshine on a rainy day! My hubsand and I ate lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. We walked in and nobody appeared to be working. It took a few minutes for them to get off their phone to notice that someone walked in. After that, the service was friendly and quick. The restaurant wasn't as clean as I would like it. The case where the baked items are kept in the front appears to be sticky and dirty. The communal condiment containers definitely needed to be wiped down. The tables needed to be wiped down as well. There were dirty dishes near the sugar area. Everything need a light cleaning. My Hubsand ordered the 1/2 Warao salad, which was a very small portion. The salad presentation was pretty with light dressing. I ordered the arepa reina pepada, which was not good. Went two days in a row since we were craving milkshakes. Menu was straightforward, staff were very kind and helpful, and presentation of our drinks were superb, especially since they were for takeout. Settled in the corner of a strip mall, the place can be a bit hard to find, but there's adequate parking and other shops nearby. The Ferraro Roche milkshake was our favorite. The kinder milkshake a close second, and the cheesecake milkshake our third favorite. A bit pricey, but the milkshake quality reminds me of a high-end milkshake shop I used to go to in San Jose all the time. Milkshakes were Instagram worthy, filling, sweet, and had whole pieces of candy in them. The cheesecake one had a whole slice on top! Would have been 5/5 but the place could have been a bit tidier. There were plenty of chairs but some of the trash and floor could have been cleared or tidied up. The menu was straightforward as well, but the quality of the font was noticeably blurry, possibly due to it being a picture that was zoomed in to fill a whole page. Delicious! It's located in the corner of a shopping plaza. During the spring and summer I imagine the patio seating will be lovely. It's decorated for the season (Christmas and Valentines). The first time we came to Cafe Warao was on a rainy day so it was a bit slow. We ordered the Warao avocado toast, tiramisu latte, bonbon coffee, and a ham and egg croissant. There are menus at the front near the cashier. Order at the cashier and then take a seat they will bring the food and drinks out to you. I absolutely loved the Warao avocado toast. It's well worth it! They are generous with the ingredients. The flavors work together perfectly. Visually it's also stunning! The coffees are also very good! I'm not a coffee person but I do like tiramisu. Both of these coffees were on the sweet side but that's personal preference. On another occasion we ordered a plain latte which was also very good but you can customize the sweetness. The second visit we got tequenos and a beef empanada. Both of these were incredibly filling. I appreciated that the food looks exactly as it does in pictures -- serving what you see is what you get. To drink, we ordered a pistachio latte and a tiramisu latte. I wanted to like this place more than I hoped but I guess I'll have to give them another try before I can determine if truly like them. I'm not from the city but every time I search up coffee shops it always pops up so I said I'd try it one day when I'm back in town. So I did because their drinks always look delicious and right up my alley going based off pictures. Lol I was greeted as I walked in and the worker was busy taking other orders ahead of me, so okay didn't expect nothing else until it was my turn to order right. But after taking their order he went to the back in and out and was scrambling to make drinks up front. Never re-approach me to inform me he'll be right with me or asked if I had questions. The menus on the screen changes slides of photos so it was hard for me to get a good glance at the menu when it popped up. Not knowing and it was not informed, there were menus aside of the register upfront. Noticed it as it was finally time for me to order. I waited about 8 mins before he finally asked if I was ready to order. I asked for his recommendations and so I went with it. The pistachio coffee iced latte that was a special offer not on their menu. I asked if they had other milk options to sub and they did, so that was great. I didn't want whole dairy. They had almond and oat milk and maybe soy too, I forgot. Drinks came out looking sooooo good! But first sip didn't hit. So i mixed it up and notice the white mocha or vanilla syrup was having a hard time diluting and mixing into my coffee. It was maybe too concentrated. Or coffee just wasn't hot enough to melt it upon ice mixture. As you can see it sitting down below. Not sure. I couldn't really taste the pistachio flavoring in there but no biggie coffee is coffee to me eventually. So I'm not complaining but because I chose that specific drink in hopes for the flavor because I'm a fan of pistachio, I wish I could have tasted it to be like oh I tried something new or I like it. In the end it was just an ice latte, and towards the end it got super sweet because of all the syrup so I didn't finish it. Worker also recommended their Warro Cupuchino which is their most popular. Maybe I'll go back to try that on another day. They serve a full lunch menu as well so maybe I'll stop by another time to check that out as well. The reason for the lower rating that I wanted to give, was for the service. I notice the guy after me waited a while before even being greeted while I was waiting on my drinks. Which not to say took about 10 mins or so to get my two iced drinks. That person even asked me out of curiosity if I was waiting to order because no one was upfront for a while during that period. However, once he was helped when the worker came out, that guest might have known the worker as they started talking about sports like they might have known each other and was picking up from a old conversation. read more

Both were good. Lots of condensed milk (I think) and cinnamon. A sweet drink but not too sweet. Did not try the food. It's a bright little place inside a strip mall. Only complaint is it was weird that there was no menu on the walls, and just 1 paper menu to look at. Additionally not all the drinks were listed on the paper menu. We had to use a QR code menu to see the rest of their entire menu. When you go the QR menu it asks you to select a table you're sitting at to view the menu. You can put any number. To me this whole process was confusing, unnecessary, and inefficient. We had to ask for help. I'm willing to come back if I'm in the area to try more! read more
