I went to this place to try out the coupons we get at home so I ordered two large pizza for the fam with $10 off which is nice. I waited about 25mins and the pizza are warm and drove home about 5mins away, I was really excited to try them. Unfortunately the excitement went away when the bread was too hard but the flavor is there. The pizza shouldn't be that hard when it's fresh off the oven and especially I drove only 5mins away from my house. It was a disappointment for me. I basically scoop the toppings and ate that only. The service was fast and the cashier told me about the coupons some can only used to certain locations. The place is empty only 4 people are eating and mostly people do take out orders from what I observed. Maybe I'll try different locations. read more

It was quiet when I got there. There wasn't anyone else dining inside. Wanted a mini/personal sized combo pizza with a salad, mozzerella sticks, and drink, but they could only make mini pizzas with 2 or 3 toppings. Had to order a small combo and knew that would fill me up so passed on the salad and mozz sticks. Fresh pizza tastes the best at Mt Mike's. Took about the usual wait time for them to make the pizza which was brought to my table. I usually go to a Mt Mike's for the buffet, but this was for dinner and not my usual location. Service was fast, friendly, & accurate. The lunch buffet was terrible the last few times so we won't be back. Start time is 11:00 and at 11:45 there was no pizza so had to wait 15 minutes. Clearly they wait until they have a few customers before cooking the pizza. The quality of the chicken on the pizza was terrible. The last 3 times it's been the same, waiting 15-20 minutes for pizza. Honestly I really like their pizzas but DANG... IT'S TOO EXPENSIVE. It's more expensive than Pizza Hut if you can believe that. It's not even good ranch! It's the packets you buy at the store and they make it: extra watery! Avoid the ranch! You're better off buying your own expensive ranch that's NOT watery. The service is okay but shotty sometimes. Sometimes they're decent and sometimes they're not. I had a bad experience with a younger girl who worked the register once, but I never went back. The dining room is good for parties but I wouldn't recommend it if you're trying to relax. They have the TV blasting for football and basketball fans most of the time. Good for large parties but not a formal dining experience. Too many kids running around. The salad bar is very good too. It's very clean and they take care of it. For the price of their salads it better be clean. Overall it's way too expensive. I was visiting my parents in Tracy over the holidays and we decided on pizza for dinner. They wanted a Hawaiian pizza, which I never get, but went with what they wanted. I placed the order there for carryout- a large pizza with ham and pineapple. The cashier was pleasant, the restaurant was clean, and the order was ready promptly. Mountain Mikes is always a good pizza. This location has a seating area and a salad bar. There's plenty of seating room and several TVs to watch from. Customer service was lacking during my visit and I witnessed some poor food handling going on in the kitchen. If you order take out they leave the pizza out in a common area that anyone can get to. I saw a total of 4 employees up front and 1 in the kitchen. The one in the kitchen was using her apron as a napkin, wiping something off her hands. First time ever trying Mountain Mikes Pizza and I would say it's A-OK, not amazing but not terrible either. Hubby and I decided not to call an order in and simply turned up, the wait on a Saturday evening was about 20 minutes, the place is fairly large inside with lot's of seating and a Salad bar, very Family friendly. Being Meat lovers we choose The Everest which is all Meat. Toppings were evenly distributed and the crust thin, a little too soft in the middle but crispy around the edges. Not too shabby, given the lack of great Pizza places in Tracy it's a fairly decent option. read more

I find it hilarious how you can never go wrong with pizza especially with kids. We got a Mountain Mike 20" since there were five of us. Well this pizza easily feeds 7-8 people. We had enough leftover for breakfast in the morning for the long drive back home the next day. The girls absolutely loved "those little pepperoni's" according to the youngest one that was the best part. $30 to feed us all wasn't bad and the pizza was good would definitely be back if traveling with kids. read more

I read the reviews and being a stickler for good customer service, I had my concerns but away my boyfriend and I went as our tummies were growling and we had been talking about trying this place for a long time. There was no one else dining in the restaurant at the time of our arrival but it seemed as if maybe they do more of a take out business this time of day as people did come in for take out orders. It took longer than 20 minutes but they have two flat screens in the main room to entertain you and of course you can talk to your dining mate while you wait. The pizza arrived with paper plates. I asked for hot sauce and she said they didn't have any WHAT?? so she offered shakers of Parmesan cheese and red peppers flakes. I doused my slices with red pepper flakes and filled my face. The crust was good -not too thin, NOT greasy, and perfectly crispy not even slightly burnt :) the toppings were plentiful and everything was so good- we loved our pizza! I docked a star for not having a hot sauce option (first time ever I've run into this) and for not offering green olives- I like blk olives but LOVE me some green olives on my pizza. I gotta say I am pleasantly surprised! I was feeling like some pizza but wanted it delivered so I thought I'd go with mountain Mike's. Mountain Mike's used to be one of my favorites for years but fell off in service and quality so I stopped ordering from there years ago. Well that is changing tonight. I went online to order and look for their coupons. I found one but couldn't get it to apply. I called the store not even expecting anyone to answer when a nice young lady answered and patiently answered my questions and helped me to get it to work. They quoted like 50 minutes for delivery but the pizza came HOT AND FRESH in under 30 minutes. The driver was very friendly and respectful! And the pizza was DELICIOUS like I remembered years ago!
