I was in Tracy for a night to attend a wedding and I wanted to carbo load before..looked up Chinese food places near my hotel and Amazing Kitchen popped up. I decided to come here to grab a few dishes..they have a lot of stuff on their menu..I got: Korean style fried chicken Chicken chow mein House special fried rice The Korean style fried chicken was my favorite paired with some white rice..so yummy..the sauce is different but extremely good and flavorful. I've ordered from Amazing Kitchen a few times and they've consistently delivered. Their Westlake Beef Soup is super comforting and is so tasty with the egg whites. The salt and pepper pork ribs and salt and pepper fish are always a hit with the kids. The honey walnut prawns are pretty average to me, they use a little heavier batter for the prawns and the sauce is on the thicker side. When I feel the need to balance out my meal with veggies, I opt for their braised tofu which comes with firm tofu and green beans. I haven't dined in the restaurant so can't comment on the ambiance or vibe. But their packaging of food for take out has always been good and haven't had issues with leaks or spills. read more

I have been meaning to try other dishes but I always get the same thing! Lunch includes a bowl of soup if you dine in, a fried wonton and a fried egg roll. I came here today for some won ton soup. I have tried other places and this is by far the best. The fried rice was also very good with lots of peas... The place was very clean, they clean up immediately after a party leaves. Staff was very nice. They greet you as you come in and unlike other places, they box your to-go food. If you want to each auithentic Hongkong Cantonese Chinese cooking, this is the place. I have been to Hongkong many times Kowloon in particular. The Chinese canton cooking is the best by far. I would drive from San Jose for this joint, or save a lunch or dinner when we are returning from Reno or SacTown. It's that good . Really cute Chinese restaurant located in the heart of Tracy. Our party of 4 stopped in for lunch after a morning of shopping. We each ordered something from the lunch menu which is pretty straightforward to assemble the plate: one protein fixed any way with vegetables, tofu, etc., one egg roll, one fried wonton, a small bowl of soup, and a choice of either white rice, fried rice, or chow mein -- all for about $11. It's a steal because the portion size is big enough for two meals. The restaurant is small but comfortable for a quick lunch date. I saw a lot of guests coming in and out for pick up and take out. Service was great. The kitchen inadvertently put out a wrong plate for one of my girlfriends (beef rather than the chicken) and to compensate for the error -- they ended up making the chicken for her to take home. This is our go to Chinese food place. They are accommodating to small changes in a dish. The dishes they recommend or complementary. The price point for the amount of food you get is amazing. I just ordered $50 worth of food from this place including chicken chow mein with smaller noodles. That being said when I get home I see almost NO veggies in the chow mein. I call and am told that I can bring it back, I reply if I bring it back then I want all of it remade because it will all be cold, or why not put it in the next delivery order headed out the door, I am then told I would have to pay a delivery charge. What i am hearing is we don't try and appease our customers and we would appreciate it if you never spend money with us again because we are doing you a favor. I ordered food here to go after seeing so many good reviews. I was not impressed. The sweet and sour chicken sauce was good, some of the pieces were very tough and chewy. It also needed more pineapple. The orange chicken was mushy and I personally wasn't a fan of the sauce. It was too sweet for my taste. I prefer more of a tangy flavor or a little kick. The rice was great! The food wasn't horrible or uncooked or anything awful so that's why I'm giving 3 stars. It just wasn't my taste. I won't order from here again. read more

I ordered a lunch item broccoli and prawns... my daughter found a hair in our food took back and got credit I was good with nothing was wrong with the food when we came back...the next time we came back we dined in... my daughter food found another hair embedded in a carrot.. I told the waiter we found Hair didn't say it out loud or nothing just pointed to. It asked him if they could just take that off or get credit which we did last time which was no problem... the waiter said that our Hair, but both of my kids are mixed and my hair is burgundy not straight black hair jet black hair. Food is still really really good. Really fast service and friendly staff. Our go to are the house special fried rice and chow mein, salt pepper fish, salt pepper pork chops, honey walnut shrimp and hot/ sour soup. All of the food was 5/5 with exception of the soup. Normally it is also a 5/5 but this time it was a 2/5. Wayy too much pepper to almost it be inedible. A likely scenario is if the wrong side of the pepper container opened and a bunch poured into the soup. If this was fixed then bank to 5 stars. read more

We spent approximately 200.00 on a variety of dishes that were inedible at best.
