I wish I could give less then one star because of the service we just received. Had an issue and when it was brought up to the manager at the store he proceeded to tell me, to quote, "If you just got over it, things would move along faster." I can't believe the lack of customer service that was given to us. We have been coming to Mountain Mikes for years and the lack of respect that was presented to us was absolutely appalling. Will never be coming back here again and will make sure to share our experience with friends and family. They lost a lot of business and it's really sad because they've been in Turlock forever. Looking at other reviews, I won't be surprised if they go out of business due to poor customer service and the current management. read more

If it wasn't for the pizza I would be giving this place a one star review. Employees are young and the ones I interacted with lack any customer service skills at all. The dining room was unkept and the table we sat at was dirty and sticky which required us to move to another table that was just sticky (I guess that's better). The salad bar looked like a tornado blew it all to hell and lacked lettuce and many of its primary toppings So we ordered mozzarella sticks and a mountain size (XL) pizza. The mozzarella sticks were cold and tasted like something we could have bought from the Dollar General. However, the pizza was great and almost made up for everything else. I would recommend this place for a place to pickup a pizza and take it home or to a park to enjoy. Overall this place is a very strong iffy for dining in, it's just not worth the cost but I would order pizzas for take out for sure. read more

The pizza was decent but the price was steep. The main thing was that the young girls that worked there were not welcoming, seemed disinterested in the customer at the register, and they could be heard cussing behind the counter and joking with each other. This place has gone down hill. The "all you can eat pizza buffet" which is advertised from 11am-2pm is FALSE. apparently the cooks begin to bake the pizza when the first person of the day orders lunch buffet. So today, I was the first person and the pizza wasn't served until 12pm and it took almost 30mins. Would NOT recommend. read more

I've been going to this store for years. The pizza is always excellent, the service is friendly and courteous, and the prices are fine for gourmet pizza. If you want quality, you're going to pay for it. For the people complaining about the staff: cut the workers a break, huh? They are usually young kids that are working hard for minimum pay and dealing with customers that can be quite rude at times. Turlock Mountain Mike's. Wow. Talk about bad customer service. I got a double mushroom, wanted a pepperoni and mushroom. I was told I could order another pizza and he would be nice enough to do so for half price. I told him that was unacceptable and I was told to call back tomorrow for the manager. I'm sad, I have never had a problem before and now I will probably never order again because there is a $30 dinner in the kitchen that won't get eaten and I have to find something else to feed my kids before bed. i at least should have been able to talk to a manager or call a complaint number. read more

To clarify, Round Table is the best pizza in Turlock. However, Mountain Mike's does have the best quality to price ratio. They have online coupons you can use in their online ordering site, which means you don't have to print them. I never understood why most pizza places insist you print their coupons. I must say, the pizza here is phenomenal and so are the garlic breadsticks. SOOOOO GOOD! We ordered the Hawaiian pizza and it wasn't greasy at all. The bread was just crispy enough on the bottom and so fluffy on top, it's an art really. We also ordered hot wings. Now, I am so bottomless when it comes to hot wings but I'm usually picky about them. The hot wings at this place are so delicious! Not too soggy and flavorful...Although I would've liked them to be a little spicier. The pizza venue itself is very dated and I don't mean a good ol' mountain feel dated...it's just -really- dated. One thing I would like to add is the customer service. Everyone, except for the one guy trying to rationalize these idiot young people's actions, is right about how unprofessional they are. We walked in to see a not-so-pleasant girl at the register. No smile, no pep, no...Anything. She looked like she just found out she was gonna lose a limb. SPEAKING OF WHICH....When we sat down and were served, 3 employees sat down to watch tv and eat. Normal behavior, a little break, maybe they don't have a break room. Not a big deal to me. What bothered me was the conversation coming from these people. omigosh!!!! this place is phenomenal!!! lived near here for 4 years and kept trying other places... I won't try any other place after coming here... the Everest pizza is loaded with stuff I didn't even think I liked!!!!... but the combination gives it a flavor beyond words!!!... it's fantastic on the taste buds!!!... haven't tried many other things, but this pizza is the best I've ever had!!! the staff is patient and very sweet... I spilled a soda at the fountain, and they were very kind and sweet to clean it up immediately, and kept telling me it was okay... I felt really bad someone had to clean up after me... they just don't mind at all!!! even if you take leftovers home, it reheats beautifully, with all the flavors intact... for the price (yes, a little more than I'm used to), it's great pizza!!! read more

My family and I came here after a long day to enjoy some pizza. We are visiting here from a different country, and I found this very racist of them to treat us like this. They think that they can treat us any way they like. We got at the restaurant at 9:20 p.m. and there closing time was 11 p.m. As we started ordering the pizza, the lady taking my order said "just so you know, you won't be able to dine in because we are closing soon." And I thought that was really rude. Clearly this location does not want any business and the staff does not care about the customers presence. I came into this place last Saturday and it was a really great experience! I went to order my pizza but no one saw me standing there for a minute or so. And then this young man with a big smile cam up and said that he was sorry for me to have to wait and he was enthusiastic to take my order.
