Great little pizza place to find on Yelp while visiting the area. We took advantage of their specials that night which was a large 1 topping for $12.99 and the Snowy Alps specialty pizza. The crust was decent flavor and texture and came out the thickness of a hand tossed style pizza. The toppings of cheese were generous which made this 1 topping pizza very satisfying. The Snowy Alps had a creamy white garlic sauce and topped with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, olives, tomatoes, and green onions. The toppings covered the entire pizza and were not skimpy. Great portioning and the flavor was quite good I would order this pizza again. Mountain Mike's has somewhat of a sports bar atmosphere that is family friendly. They serve beer and have several large TV's throughout and even a small game area where kids can burn of some steam. During lunch they have a pizza buffet with a salad bar for a quick meal. You can request and of their specialty pizzas to be placed on the bar and share with others who are dining in. Wednesday's only the serve a dinner buffet where the same process applies. They will put up the popular pizzas but if you want to try any others just put in a request and they will be happy to place it on the buffet.

Don't come for the Wednesday night buffet. I actually had to ask them to make pizza.

The Wednesday night buffet was kind of a dud. I had to ask them to make pizza because there was very little pizza and it wasn't fresh. There was only two other families here. I'm not a big fan of the pizza, I must say. The crust is very thick and too sweet. They have a bacon pizza that's decent and hides the sweetness of the dough. Roundtable is A LOT tastier than this place!! Go to Roundtable's Tuesday night buffet for better pizza!

$24 pizza (with a coupon) A few more pepperoni would have been brilliant.

Don't get me wrong - I do really like the pizza. My complaint is that the Website is next to Impossible to find a menu. You know, with the kinds of pizzas and respective prices, BEFORE ordering. It shouldn't be that hard to find the cost of a basic pizza, should it? This is the reason I haven't eaten at Mountain Mike's for over three years. If I go there, I'll go for the buffet. But the pizza is good - the corporate techs need an upgrade. read more

I have generally been a Me & Ed's person. Probably because they are close to me. The last order I got from them seemed not cooked long enough, plus they accidentally put some pork sausage on a Vegi Pizza. The other day I went to Mountain Mike for a change. Gosh, it was great. After 39 minutes of placing my order via Yelp, I receive a call from an employee saying they did not start the order till now due to their iPad not working. I don't believe that. It went unnoticed and they had to make the call knowing the wait was going to be an additional 45 minutes. Visalia food is pretty mediocre here. So don't expect much in this town. I've lived here for three years and every restaurant is either shitty service, shitty food or it's just heated up frozen food served to you. read more

Location is in a good area, so if you decide last minute not to eat pizza they have other restaurants next door, or nearby. The buffet was pretty good, the salad bar was delicious, just about everything you would see at sizzlers, except less salad/leaf choices. The pizza tasted OK. It was a little in the hard side, but still delicious. The buffet was around 7 bucks, which did not include a drink. If you get the drink it's an even 10 bucks. read more

Ordered a pizza last night...a large, 3 topping pizza for delivery. When it got to the house, I was flabbergasted when the delivery guy said my 1 large pizza came out to $60 bucks!!! It's very disgusting some of the things I've seen go on in this place. Employees do not wash their hands and don't put on gloves (I seen this with my own eyes)! I was waiting for my pizza for 35 minutes when they told me it will be ready in 15. I watched them keep mixing up everyones pizza. The big lady is very rude and very uninterested in helping customers. Started going to mountain mikes on Dinuba, there pizza is much better and their customer service is the complete opposite of this place. They will never get my business again! read more

We used to love this place & tonight ordered a pizza to go to watch the NBA finals game. Got home & opened the box & it was a really gross looking pizza. There was so little cheese the dough was showing through, gummy bread & chunky sauce. Called to have it made over & they kept arguing. Just terrible pizza & poor customer service skills. & in the end even the remade pizza was below average. For $20 of pizza it wasn't worth it. read more

Ok this is the first time I had a bad experience with this establishment. I ordered through the phone yesterday and this one lady said that the item will be ready within 20mins and when I got to the restuarant the item wasn't even made or ready! I had to wait for 20 mins more! I was like WTF! is going on here! So I really don't recommend going here because they give bad customer service! read more

I love this pizza! Honestly, I work nearby and eat here probably once a week. The staff is friendly and the food is great! I love love love the mini pepperoni and how it gets crispy! Pizza is decent though not a big selection if you come for the lunch buffet. Service is very slow and uninspired ever for a little pizza place like this where I wasn't expecting snappy service anyway. A lot of the drinks weren't working and nobody that worked there seemed to know what to do about it. It's not expensive but its a little more than it should cost for the quality. I haven't written the place off entirely but I've never had a great experience either. read more

Best pizza in town! Love their Everest combination, and the crispness of the pepperoni edges on the pepperoni pizza is fabulous! Their customer service is great and the couple times there were goofs, they did not hesitate to fix things. I always make sure to make a trip here for lunch whenever I'm back home from school. Their lunch buffet is around $7 and is all-you-can-eat. The pizza comes out hot and fresh and is great for the price. Also they do not deliver out to the Goshen area even though I live at the I live down from the KOA but they deliver to the down the road literally 2 house from the KOA but if you don't live at the KOA they won't deliver to you . The only reason why this joint received three stars from me is because they do have a great tasting pizza for this area. I will give them kudos for their flavor. Their delivery time is always 45 minutes to an hour, even when calling at their opening time (11am). I have ordered from Mountain at different locations (pick up and delivery) and it never seems to fail that the delivery time is long. The most recent time I ordered was for a delivery less an 2 miles away, pizza arrived over an hour later and I placed my order at 11:05 am. I find it very hard to believe that they were that busy on a Tuesday morning. Also, they offer gluten free dough, which is great. But it's only offered in a 10" size. So my Snow Alps gluten free pizza was $23 to deliver!! I'm sorry but I can get an amazing gourmet pizza at a locally owned pizza joint for way less than that. And if it's $23 somewhere else the pizza would be very large and could feed me family. I proceeded with the order just to see what I was getting. Taste was good. I'm not going to make the same order again. read more

Pizza is really good. They have a great lunch special during the weekdays that's all you can eat. The restaurant doesn't get too busy for lunch until the high school gets out, but by that time you're finishing up if u start at around 12 pm. They have dinner specials that are pretty reasonable and if you want to dine in, the restaurant is clean and the salad bar is fresh. Several TV's with sports but since the volumes are low it's a pretty quiet place to dine. My little one loves the mini arcade. read more

I just had one of the most disgusting experiences at the Mountain Mikes location at 5103 W Walnut Ave, Visalia, CA, that caused me to have to throw my entire pizza away and decide to never go back. On August 15, 2020 around 7pm I went to pick up my pizza, and had one of my relatives go in to get it. I sat in my car outside right in front of the window and watched an overweight white lady worker sit there on her break, picking her nose, blowing her nose and wiping the napkin all over her face, before going straight back to work without even washing her hands. She then went and touched the cash register and everything, including my pizza box. It took her less than 5 seconds to get from one end of the kitchen to the register, which means she didn't wash her hands, and even if she did it wasn't adequate by any means... I was so disgusted that I lost my appetite, and in the midst of a Covid-19 pandemic I was appalled to see negligent behavior like this. I was so taken aback that I was tempted to record the scenario for proof and post it on social media so nobody else would be subjected to the sanitary failures of this place. Utterly disgusting. I realize that I am only one customer that the business is losing, but I just hope that nobody got sick from the lack of sanitary precautions going on in this place. read more

Our go to pizza place! Clean and family friendly dine in (cannot wait to be able to eat in house again!)! Staff is patient and friendly. Pizza is always perfectly done with plenty of toppings. Good selection of specialty pizzas with no hassle if you decide you don't want a particular topping. Staff is pretty accurate with wait times, even when they are extra busy.
