Foood was amazing! Prime rib is 10/10 . Service was great! It is kinda loud cause they do have an auction upstairs. And where the bathroom is you can smell the stock. In the restaurant itself you can't which is great. I would definitely come back for the prime rib sammich

Food, Service, everything was wonderful about this place! I came to Visalia to visit an old friend and she suggested we have breakfast here. I am so glad she did. Absolutely delicious.

VISALIA'S HIDDEN GEM also a HOLE IN THE WALL.. cause you CAN miss it if you ain't looking, but that's Kind of why I LOVE IT! FOOD: Generous Portions, literally so full Every time. We always say "next time we'll share" yet here we are... with our own plates again! Ha -I got French Toast with Fresh Strawberries and a side of hash-browns and one over medium egg. -My husband had the Monte Cristo Sandwich.. AMAZINGLY GOOD if you want to try something different! It's like French toast, but BETTER! SERVICE: Exceptionally quick on non busy days, but I gotta say this team works pretty darn well under pressure! When it gets busy, they still all get the job done and we still leave satisfied after we've eaten . Thanks team. AMBIANCE: The place is mostly always pretty packed with locals, and families so the ambiance is always great.(: After reading my own review.. I'm ready to go back again‍‍

When I drove into the dirt parking lot with a tractor crossing it, I had my doubts. I was taken by surprise. This is a great hole in the wall with good food and friendly service. The portions were generous! We went for breakfast, and they had classic breakfast items and more. I had a classic American breakfast with eggs, toast, hash browns and sausage. Eggs were perfectly cooked, the hash browns were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. My partner had the Monte Crisco breakfast sandwich, and he said that it was excellent. This is a hidden Gem!

Steak was cooked exactly how I asked for it but it had a lot of nerve or grizzle. Cheesy hash browns were delicious. The service was great and our server was friendly.

Our go to breakfast spot in Visalia. A cute little country spot. It is literally on a livestock auction yard, you can't get more country than that. We love when there is cattle present because we can sneak a peek at them on our way into the restaurant. The service is great and the food is always delicious. The portions are big so you will have leftovers to snack on later. This is a popular breakfast spot so you may have to wait for while to get seated unless you go before the breakfast rush or after. I always get the cheesy hashbrown it's my favorite side dish, if you get toast make sure to ask for the raspberry jam.

Tucked into the stockyard sale building, Mama K's Diner at 733 Ben Maddox way, is a bit hard to find. But persevere - it is well worth it. Nicely apportioned with well kept & clean walls, floors, and tables/booths, made our visit comfortable. We were greeted by a staff of welcoming and helping servers. Upon seating, all of our questions were fully answered happily. Our breakfasts were delicious. I think the country potatoes stole the show, but everything else was tops as well. Next time we may do lunch. They have quite a burger list that I'd like to get into. The cattle sale is every Wednesday, so, being aggies at heart, we may go then and enjoy the cattle auction. There is a beautiful bakery case that greets you upon entry with affordable prices. Save room to take a couple home. Meal prices were generally comparable with similar restaurants, but many seemed very reasonable and a few a bit high. Hope to see you there at our next visit

Although the food here was good, the atmosphere was chaotic. The floor staffing was not able to service the dining room and the delegation of duties appeared haphazard (two servers working the counter as well as part of the floor). We waited about 10 minutes and had to call over a server because no one had come to take the drink order. That server could have corrected this but instead said that we were not in her area and our waitress had broken a cup and cut herself. She could have been more gracious and taken our drink order. Our server came over a couple of minutes later and apologized, but she seemed overwhelmed. We received our coffee and later our food, but I asked for milk for my coffee on three occasions before any was brought to me. The food was good and was served fairly promptly but no refills on coffee were offered and when we asked for refills there our request was acknowledged but never fulfilled. When we went to the counter to pay our check, our server was unable to make change for a $52.08 bill from $62.08. This could be a good local place based on the food, but the service is such that I cannot recommend it.

The interior is modernized (not overdone), clean, and welcoming, with a nice quote on the wall that adds character. I ordered the breakfast burrito ($11). It's simple but very well seasoned (scrambled eggs, potatoes, and cheddar cheese). No meat, which I was craving, but the herbs and spices definitely carry the flavor. Not sure what they use, but it's tasty. Portion-wise, it's a solid medium-to-large burrito and comes split in half, so it could easily be shared. I've seen bigger burritos elsewhere, but this one is filling enough. That said, $11 feels a bit pricey for something so simple. I totally understand inflation, but I think adding a protein option like bacon, ham, or sausage would really elevate it and make the price feel more justified. Service was quick; about five minutes total and the cashier was very friendly. I mentioned it was my first time there and that I'm part of Yelp Elite. I kind of wish there had been a bit more engagement at that point, like suggesting a popular item or checking with the manager about anything for Yelpers. Not a dealbreaker at all, just a missed opportunity to go the extra mile. Overall, good food, chill environment, friendly service, and efficient turnaround.

There is both indoor and outdoor seating options. Inside they are picnic table style with bench seating and long tables or counter seating near the windows. Outdoors was set up with table and chair patio style seating. Immediately greeted by a friendly employee and after we mentioned it was our first time there she gave us a thorough overview of how it works. One thing we really liked was the customer has the option to select their "signature" dogs or you can create your own using all the toppings they have available via a slip of paper. You just check the boxes of what you want on your all beef hot dog (1/4 lb.), a polish sausage or bratwurst. I discovered afterwards they also offer "mini" dogs, which I should have gotten because they are quite large and my eyes were bigger than my stomach after I ordered a hot dog and a homemade corndog. My daughter got a polish dog and a homemade cheese dog (like a corn dog but using cheese instead of a hot dog). I got tater tots as a side and my daughter the homemade potato chips. All the food was tasty and we'd get them all again, though as I mentioned above I'd probably go "mini" on one or both because together there was just too much food for me. If we go through Visalia again, we'll definitely return.
