    Mt. Mousse Original Ramen

We found this restaurant on our way to Portland, ME. It's within the Settlers Green outlet village. They have outdoor beer garden but it was closed when we were there. Inside it is a self serve restaurant. You pit the order at register and find yourself an empty table. When the food is ready they bring it over. Their menu had lots of interesting items. I ordered the combo starter that came with delicious crab rangoon and crispy quality rolls. The beef bun was amazing, full of ingredients in the middle. It was almost impossible to fold the bun and take bites. The red curry was such a fantastic dish. Soft chicken, fried egg, cucumber served with flavorful red curry on top of rice. I thoroughly enjoyed all the items. The dishes were served within a short time. The staff checked on us multiple times. Overall we loved the dinner experience here.

Stopped by for dinner on our road trip. The GPS literally taking us in by driving but it's actually inside an outlet. Parking nearby then walk in. Great mural on the wall. Very welcoming vibe. The food was great! Beef ramen definitely warmed up my body in this rainy day. Great portion with edemas corn fried dumpling and boy Choy. Crispy veggie roll and crab Rangoon were stuffed with ingredients. Very fulfilling. Indulging them with the sweet sauce was absolutely amazing. Self order by the counter then they would bring the food out. Bring the tray to collection tray/cart. Wonderful staff. Clean bathroom.

A fast casual restaurant located in the outlet mall. You order and they will bring your food to your table. Then you bus your own table. Very convenient. I had a yummy ramen bowl. Not the best ramen but ample size and hit the spot.

The name didn't really give away what this place was about, but to our surprise, it turned out to be a Chinese-American fast food spot. We were super hungry, so it ended up being just what we needed. The egg rolls were delicious, and the orange chicken hit the spot too.

Rating: 4.3 Came to stop by for lunch. Asian fusion restaurant located in a North Conway outlet area. Parkings are available in outlet parking area. Used the outlet map to locate the restaurant. Nothing about the decor, background music, or the logo about the restaurant says Asian but they serve asian food. One you are inside you order the food at the counter and the staff will bring the food out for you. They offer variety of asian appetizers and dishes. We ordered the mountain moose noodle, beef lemongrass bao bun, and Thai tea. Thai tea was pretty standard but good and came with extra long straw which was interesting. Beef bao bun was tasty and was filled with beef and some pickled veggies and cilantro. It was nice that they didn't skimp out on the beef. The mountain moose noodle was pretty good. It reminded me of khao soi as it had this creamy slightly spicy curry broth which was delicious. Noodle was standard ramen noodle and some added dumplings, beef, cilantro and edamame. Service was good and quick. Some utensils, napkin and water are self service. Overall the place was surprisingly good. I didn't really expect this quality of asian food in outlet but was not bad. Good food, reasonable price and quick service. It's a solid stop for quick tasty food. I can't say the quality is best or exceptional but good nonetheless. It was certainly interesting restaurant in some ways.

Food was okay, thought the food was somewhat true to the cuisine but could benefit from a little more flavor. Some foods also combined weird flavors that didn't quite feel like it belonged. Service was very kind and relatively quick though, and located conveniently in Settler's Green if you're shopping in the area. Ambiance was clean and lots of open light, very casual grab and go style.

A lunch stop for our stay here in NH~ off the bat, they have Asian fusion foods like soups, bowls, noodles, and bites. I am familiar with Asian dishes, and this place was good. Nothing stood out necessarily. The food was hot, but cooled down very quickly. I ordered the vegan white mountain, which was rice noodles, veggies, mushrooms and corn~ it was good, but nothing too special or unique about it. The bun was delicious~ it had so much meat! Worth treat~ same, problem, it got cold quick. Felt like the food was just heated up. Place looked new, and very clean. Staff was kind and brought the food to our table after ordering at the counter. There are take out options, but tables are first come, first serve. There are plenty available inside and out (which could be preferred in warmer months. The decor is all a moose character wearing winter gear, sunglasses, on the slopes with tea, noodles, and buns around~ very funny and creative~

10/10 pho for an Asian fusion! I loved the broth and plenty of meat provided in the pho. My friend loved the Khao Soi

This review hovers somewhere between 3 1/2 to 4 stars. I was definitely looking forward to trying this place, and for me it had both its pros and cons. I will start by stating that their hours are not made very clear. The times listed on their website, various online sources and advertisements around the outlets complex they're located in are all different, which was very confusing. The only hours that seemed accurate are the ones listed on their door, which were different from the hours posted everywhere else. When it came to the food, my opinions varied between the dishes we got. We got some crispy rolls for an appetizer. My boyfriend liked them, but I was not a fan, as the veggies inside didn't taste like they had any seasoning. Overall they were pretty bland to me. However our entrees were very good. Boyfriend got a Kung Pao rice bowl. He loved it and said the spice of it lived up to his expectations. I tried a taste of it too and I can attest to the fact that it was good and very spicy. I went for the build your own route; I got some noodles in a Thai curry broth, topped with chicken satay, peanuts, onions, jalapeños and kimchi beansprouts. The broth was very flavorful and there was a good amount of chicken. While the cost of the food definitely does add up a bit, the portion sizes are generous; we ended up packing some leftovers. Though the least of my concerns, I was also not a fan of the cheap, flimsy disposable soup spoons; I felt like I couldn't use the disposable wooden chopsticks either because they were all I could taste when trying to eat my noodles. As far as the service goes, my boyfriend and I both agree that out of any counter service establishment we've been to, we received some of the friendliest service here. The staff were all super nice and welcoming. While I did have a couple of minor gripes, I am still rooting for this place. Between the kind service, the tasty noodle and rice dishes and the generous portions, I would be willing to return and try more delicious noodles. I'll just have to remember that they open at 4pm on weekdays, and to bring my own soup spoon and chopsticks.

Food is the best. The service is amazing the people are kind. Atmosphere smells good and it is very clean.

This is my first visit to Mountain Moose. I was there by myself, so I only ordered Bibimbap. They used lemongrass beef for this Korean dish, but it's surprisingly good. I think the pickled daikon they used is more Thai & Vietnamese style, maybe that's why it worked well together with lemongrass beef. The kimchi was good as well. Beef could be more tender in my opinion. Friendly staff. I will visit again to try other dishes.

Our first visit but will definitely be back. We were on our annual camping trip & we're in the mood for Thai. We ordered the Red Curry, Chicken Pineapple Rice, Chicken Satay, and Yaki Soba. Absolutely amazing! We ordered it for takeout but the front desk employee was super nice. Next time we will dine-in

    Beef Pho
    Maureen G.

I was dying for Pho and voila' yelp told me about Mountain Moose. We weren't sure what to expect as it was in the outlets but we were happily surprised. It was a very clean establishment that has an outside seating area for warmer days. The menu has pho soup as well a good offering of other dishes. We both had the pho soup and both loved it! It had excellent flavors and there was much more beef than we normally receive in pho. The waitresses stopped by several times to ensure everything was good and were quick to provide our to-go containers. If you're in the greater North Conway area, I strongly suggest you give them a try.

The flavors, presentation and overall taste of this food amazing. We had the Gyoza, which has depth of flavor and even with being in a light sauce still holds its crispiness. The crab ragoons were next and were the best I have had, especially since most are more like just cream cheese filling and this was far from that and had fresh crab on top. My daughter had the burger and my wife and I both tried and will be back for this, flavored well, very fresh and overall just incredible. My wife and I had the bang bang shrimp which was fresh with greens that were lightly dressed perfectly and complimented the shrimp and rice base. We were also able to watch the kitchen staff that you could just see take complete pride in everything they do and was a pleasure to observe. Our server Laru was also very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and was just another great addition to our experience. If you are on the fence about trying this place do yourself a favor and just try it.

The sushi stand in the front. We were greeted at the bar and given water and menus right away. Loved the prompt service, the ambiance, the art on the walls. Enough lighting for a restaurant/bar. The menu was interesting and had sushi, fish, a wagyu burger, some really fun drinks and more. We split some dumplings, a roll, and got individual meals. We got our dumplings rather quickly but then waited an hour for the rest of our food. It was really busy, and they had staff, but I feel like it would not ever normally be this busy. But they were so nice about it. And we were not in a rush, so it works out just fine. Our roll was off - and it turned out we got the wrong one. But they were apologetic and again it was really busy. But when the entre came out - wow. I got a Ongiri with Haddock and some crispy onions on top - it was fantastic. My husband had a bowl of ramen that he said needed a little salt. But it was good, service as fantastic, and I would definitely want to come back when they are not busy to try the food and service again. I am sure it will be great.

An excellent third stop on our impromptu culinary tour of Portland, and our party grew from two to four. I had the Shanghai cowboy cocktail, the bourbon hits, and you can definitely taste the mint more than the guava. All the foods in order of my preference, this was a tough list to rank because everything had great flavor and came out hot!! Lobster rangoon: yes, I would love to have another order of these! Great flavor, nice crisp wonton, just a wonderful rangoon experience! Pork pot stickers: mmm, love me some pot stickers, and these lived up to my expectations, great flavor and texture! Sa cha chicken skewers: so very tender, great flavor, would gladly eat again! Garlic meatball skewers: good flavor, nice dipping sauce, happy we added these to our selection. Shanghai soup dumplings: in general a fun food item, great flavor and they were highly recommended by the everyone who suggested we eat here. Mongolian beef: the beef had great flavor, the broccoli was cooked properly, not mushy, the onions were well caramelized; delicious! Har gow: good flavor, nice steamed dumplings, glad we tried them! Peking duck buns: my friend was in love with these, it was good, but not something I was immediately obsessed with. More than enough food for the three of us adults! The toddler had an order of steamed noodles. I definitely forgot a few photos, but the food was just so good!!

Lobster rangoon, order them yesterday. They're absolutely amazing. Little sweet, little tangy, rich, very light exterior, plenty of filling; they checked all the boxes. I wish an order came with double! (I wouldn't judge if you put in a double order). The Duck Bao, for me, would be a pass for next time. They were good- just not standout. The bao bun itself was very nice and pillowy, just as you'd want, so they are working with a great foundation. I just wanted a little more out of the flavor for the duck. Maybe it could have used some freshness in there, there was a touch of scallion and some soy based sauce in there but could have benefited from some veg like shredded carrot or daikon or something else. Either that or it would have needed to lean even harder into the umami, caramel- deep flavors. Onto the orange beef. I didn't know how to feel about this when it was first put in front of me. The portion seemed okay, but I realized as I kept eating, the pile of beef wasn't going down as quick as I thought it would (good problem to have!) the beef was crisp, the orange flavor was tangy and sweet - it was really tasty. Beef wasn't tough but also wasn't super tender. Not good nor bad. My only complaint here is that there could have been a little more bok choy and the rice was not very easy to eat with chopsticks. It was a jasmine rice from what it seemed and it didn't have any starch to stick together at all. To pick it up I was having to press the beef into the rice to stick it all together. Not super easy to eat but maybe its just a me problem.

It's not flashy -- the décor is a bit dated -- but the food? Utterly fantastic. Owners Luncky and Wu clearly put their hearts into every dish, and it shows. The quality, care, and consistency here are rare to find. One of my personal favorites is the seared ahi tuna from the appetizer menu -- it's so good, I usually have to order two because one just isn't enough for our family! The fish of the day, often featuring haddock, is another highlight -- light, flavorful, and expertly prepared every time. My husband swears by the seafood curry, which is rich, fragrant, and packed with flavor. The service is just as impressive as the food. Their bartender, Cristine, is a local legend -- she's known my in-laws for decades and still remembers exactly how my mother-in-law likes her Blue Orchid cocktail. No need to order -- it just appears, perfectly made. That kind of personal touch is what makes Lemongrass feel so special. And don't skip dessert -- the white chocolate crème brûlée is a standout. You won't find that just anywhere, and it's absolutely worth saving room for. Lemongrass is more than a restaurant -- it's a beloved part of our Lakes Region tradition, and we can't imagine a trip to NH without it.
