We finally had a chance to visit here and enjoyed it. The restaurant is super traditional which we love. We were greeted by the host who was super friendly. We were seated at a nice table in the corner of the dining room which we liked. He brought us waters and a pot of hot tea which I love. We shared an order of chicken fingers which were so great and delicious (they could have been cooked a little longer for a little more crispiness but they certainly were fresh). Hubby had beef teriyaki strips and scallion pancakes which he enjoyed. I ordered the pan fried dumplings and the vegetable fried rice which were both excellent. Next time I will get a large rice so I have more to take home but it's nice to have the ability to choose small or Large. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our server Haley was excellent and very polite. We were so hungry I forgot to take pictures but everything looked and tasted great. My only complaint would be our table was sticky and needed to be washed down but it won't keep me from returning. We are happy we found a great place to get Chinese and look forward to going again. Got take out here last night. Very expensive. When we got home, we realized the Pork Fried Rice was not in the bag. We were 40 minutes away at this point. Tried calling the next day to let them know and assumed we would simply get a credit back to our card for the $14 pork fried rice. The only option they would give us is to come back to the restaurant and they would give us a free pork fried rice. This option is laughable because the rest of the food is already consumed and don't know when we will be in the area again. No credit back to the card option and not even a gift card option presented to us. They told us on the phone that there were several orders the day before missing rice and egg rolls.... It does have a somewhat old school ambience, but sadly, the service and the food was terrible. I ordered Hon Sue Gai, my wife ordered Pepper Steak. The service was really bad. It was a long wait for our food (at least 25 minutes) and when it came she brought only mine. She said she would be "right back" with my wife's dish. Well, that turned out to be 6-7 minutes. The chicken wings on her plate were not only unappetizing, they were scary. They had some weird protrusions on them which looked like some kind of fingernails. I've attached a picture. My wife took a few sample bites, but that was it, her dish was virtually untouched. I ate the chicken (which was OK) and some of the rice, but none of the vegetables. Even the payment was a disaster. The waitress took the card saying she'd "be right back" Well again, we sat waiting. At least there was bit of entertainment as we waited. A very upset lady came in and very loudly bellowed "Don't you pick up your phone? I've been calling since 11:30 and nobody picked up! this was around 2:00 o:clock. This is the second time that we have been to this restaurant and have been greatly disappointed both times. There was a fair going on in the area when we go eat here. Most of the restaurants are packed and we end up here. And the food is just not good and the service is mediocre and the restaurant is generally not clean. We ordered a Pupu platter to share and it didn't even have all of the items that were included on the menu. I had to ask for crab Rangoon and she brought out just what looked like and tasted like something that just came out of the freezer. And it may well have I guess not everyone makes them. Food was cold, waiter was rude and sweating into our food (not even lying, absolutely dripping into our soup.) My party of two walked in for the buffet, although it wasn't open and it felt uncomfortable we still decided to give it try. Sat down with zero menus, and finally a server arrived at our table for him to stand there and wait for us while we were deciding what to eat. Uncomfortable and awkward, finally we ordered. As we are waiting we go to the bathroom, we didn't notice until we looked in the bathroom that it was disgustingly despicable. Toilet paper on the floor, smelled like it hasn't been washed in months, I could personally not even use the bathroom. The toilet seats were crusty and wet, I got out of there for my friend to say the same as I. As we looked around while heading to our seats, we noticed how grimy and dusty it was. Stuff falling off the ceiling, walls had some sort of strange liquid on it the didn't smell like water, finally after a hour our food arrives. We are annoyed so begin hoping for the best of the food, when ten food sits on our table we immediately notice that something about the food just isn't quite right. Soup was cold and moist, the egg rolls were so greasy they were dripping. As soon as the waiter came back (twenty minutes later.) we asked for the check, and got out of there. Well worth a visit.We will be back My wife and I do a lot of shopping near this restaurant and always notice a lot of cars in the parking lot. At this time, they are not serving sushi, and after trying other items, we were happy they didn't, as we would have tried it.. I saw Pho on the menu and we decided to try it.We also had a few appetizers and some fried rice. When our meal came, the Pho was in 2 bowls, so we each got a bowl of it and i gotta say, it would have fed a family of four. The description is "soft flat rice noodles sautéed with chili garlic sauce, red and green peppers. Onions, broccoli, carrots and basil leaves". A dish that I have had before at other Chinese restaurants and loved. This was anything but that. No sauce, none. Not that the servers were mean or hateful, but that we literally had no service except when the lady dropped off the check. Even had to walk up to the waitress counter and refill my water. They saw me do it, but no one said anything. Definitely needs new management!!!
