I was so beyond impressed and excited when they told me that was purposeful, and, what's more, that they make it a point to sell things made by POC and queer folks. On top of that, they have an amazing array of crystals, including some very unique carvings that were absolutely lovely (like a little toadstool house!), and pretty much everything else you could want from a metaphysical shop, including some handmade incense that I'm burning right now that is delightful. Also, I'm always treated so kindly by everyone there, who've all been an absolute delight to talk to and so helpful. My wife found this awesome little hobby shop last night while hanging out with a couple of friends, and when she came home and told me about it, we ended up going back together the next day. I'm into all things nerdy, especially anime and GUNPLA, so I grabbed an SD model kit and a Thousand Sunny Bandai kit from One Piece. They've also got individual actual Pokémon, One Piece, Magic decks, and individual cards in binders for sale (at least for Pokémon, I'm unsure of the other cards games.) They had some Anime models, Manga, a bunch of stickers, different types of dice (for tabletop gaming), plushies, some older video game stuff, and I think there were Warhammer model kits. It's a small local shop, so prices are a little bit higher than what you'd see at big box stores. BUT you're supporting a local business, and that's always really worth it. There are some game rooms in the back where people can play tabletop stuff like board games or Dungeons & Dragons. They've got a bathroom (I didn't check it out), plus a little section with snacks and sodas to indulge if you get hungry while you're there playing. Big shoutout to the guy behind the counter. He was super cool to my wife and her friends last night, and even more so when we came back today. I watched him today helping other customers too. Once I arrived, the staff there immediately greeted me and the energy inside was very welcoming. They have a pretty large selection of crystals from huge massive pieces to small tumbled stones. I started searching online but didn't trust Etsy shops and I definitely didn't trust Amazon vibes for this. Today is a rainy Sunday so I thought to go out and check a local shop. I'm so glad we got to go today. I took my son with me who can talk all day about science, rocks, and minerals. Seriously, ALL DAY LONG. The shopkeeper was so patient and kind and entertained all his questions and engaged him in info and teaching. It was just so nice. I feel like it is a good place for kids. There was actually another kid in there while we were there. It's a really big store. If you're into yoga or anything "energy", you'll really enjoy it. Even if you're not into woo-woo, it's got cute greeting cards, music, candles, and tons of books. There is a whole room of aromatherapy and lotions.
