We broke down on I-70 on our way to DIA to pick up a rental car, and the driver, Gilbert Ramos, who stopped, gave us great service; he took us to the airport and made sure my husband was at the right place then took our car to the address where we wanted it dropped off. We had called for a tow, but by the time State Patrol got back to us to tell us they had called someone who would be there in about an hour, Gilbert had already set us up to put our car on the back of his tow truck - hardly any downtime. My car had a 'fuel lock' apparently. At the time I had no clue of this issue when my car essentially broke down at the Eisenhower tunnel. Very scary, perplexing, and frustrating, Charlie pulled right up beside me, asked a couple questions and taught me all about the fuel lock and how to fix it. He gifted me a long-neck funnel and declined any sort of payment. As far as I can tell, he was spot on. I'd call him anytime for any help I may need on i-70. Double the promised ETA, and would not help with a simple repair and instead informed me they had to tow me while threatening me that the state patrol was on the way to ticket me for being stopped on the side of the highway. I felt pressured and ended up wasting my money with this awful service. Too expensive and not worth anyone's business. read more
