The grounds are beautiful, the amenities are great, and the community itself is quiet and well-kept. Neighbors are friendly, and it's been a peaceful place to come home to. Luis in the office and Kevin in maintenance are absolute gems. Both are quick to respond, genuinely kind, and take the time to get to know residents. The few issues upon move in that I've brought up have been handled promptly and with a positive attitude, which makes a big difference when settling into a new home. That said, I did have a concerning experience when reporting a potential electrical hazard and mold issue. As required by the California mold addendum (and just basic common sense), I called the office immediately to report it. Unfortunately, Maurace, whoever he is, was dismissive, repeatedly cut me off, didn't take the time to understand the issue or ensure it was properly addressed, and abruptly told me he was ending the call. That kind of response is not acceptable, especially when residents are raising potential health and safety concerns in our own HOMES. No one should feel like an inconvenience for reporting something that could impact their safety and well-being. Maurace, I see you are the one responding to these reviews, so I genuinely hope you take this feedback seriously and reconsider how you speak to residents. This wouldn't be acceptable at any rent level, but it's especially disappointing in a luxury apartment community where rent is well over $3,000 per month. I'm hopeful this was an isolated experience, because the rest of the team, especially Luis and Kevin, have set a much higher standard for what resident care should look like. Five stars minus one for Maurace :(

I currently live at The Reserve in Rohnert Park, and unfortunately, my experience has been…read moreextremely disappointing. When we first moved here, it felt like a welcoming community. Since the new management took over, it feels like the atmosphere has completely changed. Instead of feeling like a place to call home, it now feels overly restrictive, with constant rules, warnings, and the fear of being fined or towed over even minor issues. Children are no longer allowed to play in many common areas, residents are expected to keep large trash dumpsters inside their garages except on trash day, which creates odors and takes up valuable garage space, and the pool is now limited to residents only, so family members can't come over to enjoy it or celebrate special occasions together. Policies that once felt reasonable now make the community feel far less family-friendly. The most upsetting part has been my experience requesting reasonable accommodations for my 5-year-old son, who has a disability. His doctor submitted documentation requesting simple accommodations, including allowing me to temporarily pull in front of our garage to safely unload him before parking because he is at risk of eloping. Rather than feeling supported, every step of the process has felt like an uphill battle. After submitting our accommodation requests, I felt like our family came under increased scrutiny. My vehicle was towed over an overnight parking permit issue even though we still had unused guest parking permits available that month. I have also received repeated warnings and threats of fines over issues that I have personally observed being handled differently for other residents. Whether intentional or not, it has left me feeling singled out instead of treated like a valued resident. I have repeatedly tried to contact Asset Living's corporate office to discuss these concerns, but I have received no response at all. It has been incredibly frustrating to feel like there is no one willing to address these issues or even acknowledge my concerns. The property itself is attractive, and before the management change I genuinely enjoyed living here. Unfortunately, the way residents are treated has overshadowed the positives. I hope management takes resident concerns more seriously and works toward creating a community where families, especially those with children with disabilities, feel supported instead of discouraged. If you're considering moving here, ask plenty of questions before signing a lease. Carefully review the community rules, your rights and responsibilities, and make sure you get important information in writing. Clarify the parking policies, because in my experience, tenant vehicles may be towed if a permit is not activated, even when unused guest parking permits remain on the account. For me, what should have been a comfortable place to raise my family has instead become a source of constant stress. A home should provide peace of mind, not leave residents worried about the next warning, fee, or tow.
